Chapter 413: I Am Not My Grand Father
Once more, Chiron paid for another simulation. This time around, it was to face all he had ever called his enemies. This was down to even his cousin back in the Chikitsa Clan.

He stood face to face with them. Fortunately, the Fate Change System had an incredible memory. There was no body that Chiron had ever cut down that was not included in this list.

One by one, Chiron walked to them. he smiled at some of them and he frowned at others. After all, some deaths had truly been fun.

However, that fear that he had felt when he was facing knight Sheyi was not there.

In fact, if he was to face any of the opponents again, then he would do it with pride and swiftness. After all, for him, it was just a means to an end.

There was no such negative emotion with any of his opponents. Not until he came across Knight Sheyi once more.

Chiron’s breathing suddenly became hard. His fingers became sweaty, and he had a bitter taste in his mouth. It was as if he had suddenly become sick. He could not help it, and he Staggard a bit.

Finally, it happened.

He fell to the ground. Unable to hold it in any more, he waved his hand and the images of all his foes disappeared.

His breathing slowly steadied. “SHIT!” he cursed. It was far worse than he thought. But there was fundamentally a problem with this. The thing was that he did not believe that he was afraid of Knight Sheyi. At least the memory of the foe did not make him feel sick.

But the image was something else entirely.

Chiron waved his hand, “System, do a complete scan on my body for any left over of Knight Sheyi’s curse.”

“No! Something is wrong. There has to be something I am missing!”

he thought hard to himself. but he just could not understand. Just then, he remembered the words of the old Dragon back at his clan home.

That Dragon, protecting the garden had said something about the mystery of curses and how they sank deep into one’s life.

“Wait a minute! Into one’s life?” An idea suddenly popped up in Chiron’s head.

“System, what does it mean to have a life?”

He asked out loud.

“OH! Shut the fuck up!” Chiron immediately shut the System up. Then again, he had expected this robotic response.

Chiron knew that they was something he was missing. Something that was of value. Something that had to do with his ability to be able to touch upon the secret that made magic what it was.

For a reason he could not understand, he could tell that this might have been the same reason that all the others that had tried to crack upon the secrets of magic had failed.

He was starting to think maybe he needed to have another conversation with that dragon again.

just then, he heard a knock on his door from the outside world.

This really vexed him, after all, it interrupted his train of thoughts. Chiron was prepared to rain fire on the person.

“What!?” he responded.

“There is an urgent message for you from Vandora.” Emma replied.

Chiron frowned. he could guess what it was. It was most likely his Grand father summoning him back. After all, the ware on both sides was over. It wa sonly a matter of time that this happened.

However, Emma’s next words surprised him. “Its not from the Royal palace.”

Chiron raised a brow at this and then he left the System space and back to the real world.

He opened the door, “then, who is it from?”

“Its from Commander hardstone!” chiron’s frown got even deeper and he could tell that something was not right. After all, Commander Hardstone had never sent him a letter.

He opened it up, and that was when he read the message.

To sum it all, it was commander Hardstone apologizing for his incompetence to protect Nora.

Chiron’s frown got uglier as he read the letter, and then at the end, it surprisingly, became a smile.

He raised his head to Emma, “Get me Captain Timi!”

Emma noticed Chiron’s smile. She could not help but feel a chill run down her spine.

instantly, she rushed to go get the captain.

And in a few minutes time, his army had all formed up in front of him in the throne room. then again, they were not very many of them.

“ladies and gentlemen, I have led you to victory, and without a doubt, each one of you would have your names written in the annals of history. In your villages, the stories of your valor sang by bards under the twin moons.

After all, the feat you have achieved has never been done before. But…” he paused as his gaze sank into each one of their eyes.

“…It is not enough. So let’s do some more. Let’s clear up any other stories in all of time and replace it with our own.”

Chiron’s words made their eyes brighten up. And even the Orcs slammed their weapons together.

Everyone’s blood was starting to boil for battle.

“Right now, as i speak to you, my sister has been taken hostage in my absence. The report say that it is the beast kingdom.

My Grand father Insteads to make peace with these ‘Airheads’ and of course keep to their demands. Unfortunately…” Chiron smiled.

“I am not my Grand father, and my Sister is MINE.” That word was said with so much conviction that it actually sent chills down the spine of everybody.

“My brothers and sisters. We have already taken over a kingdom to sure our capabilities. How about we take it up a notch. How about we burn another to the ground?”

“WAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!” The orcs screamed, and the soldiers also followed. The atmosphere was an infectious one and everyone clamored for blood.

At the same time, he got an alert from the fate change System.
