Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 423
Chapter 423: Dylan Vs Hyena-Man
“A normal man would have been at the point of death by now, but you still persist. Not bad! you are definitely not normal. Your meat will definitely be good!” The Hyena-man waved his hand, “I am getting hungry, bring me his balls for dinner.”
The Hyena man had given the order. It had to be done as he wished it to be.
Immediately, one of them jumped with a broad sword in hand, but just before he landed, A loud ROAR was heard.
Instantly, the Holographic figure of a Lion rushed forth, biting off the head of the beats man as it slammed the remaining part of its body into the rock over head.
Everyone, including Dylan looked in that direction. A group of people had walked into the cave. Each one of them dressed in black, with their faces covered.
However, on seeing them, Dylan immediately knew who they were. After all, the people of this place did not use Totems and that was definitely a totem attack.
The Hyena man frowned, “He brought Reinforcements, KILL them all!”
“AHHH!!!” the Bandits rushed forth, activating their different core powers. Some jumped high, some sent forth ice spikes and fire, and some others used blades coated with their core spiritual energy.
Their numbers were great. But unfortunately for them, the people before their eyes were any but ordinary.
Dylan alone had taken a few lives before he began to lose. Surely, facing these lot was a one sided massacre waiying to happen.
And it did.
Blood in the air as many screamed for life. Limbs fell to the ground. Weapons clashed with one another and many, nursing the thought of retreating began to step back, but before the idea would fully form in their minds, these soldiers, under the guise of being core beasts themselves ravaged the bandits with the willful spread of death.
The Hyena man saw this. He frowned. However, he was not a fool. As long as he had the riches that he had stashed in secret, he could always find fools that would fight for him.
For now, he was going to retreat.
Moving his throne out of the way a bit, a hole on the wall appeared, apparently a secret passage. Instantly, he rushed into it, disappearing from the eyes of all.
All, except one person. Dylan saw him sneak away.
Since the start of this brawl, he had never for one moment taken his eyes off the Hyena-man.
At such a time, one of the masked men rushed over to Dylan. He removed his mask slightly. This was none other than Banda, his supposed to be second in charge for this mission.
“I and the other brothers have agreed that you are not fit to lead this mission. I have already sent word to Prince Chiron of disobedience to orders. You have chosen to jeopardize the assignment given by your prince, and heir to the Vandorian throne. Once this is fight is over, you are to wait until the mission is over and return back to the Chanland kingdom to be disciplined.
These are orders from Prince Chiron himself. I, Banda, will be taking over the leadership of this mission. You are relieve of duty.”
Those words made Dylan frown hard. this was his first mission out alone and he had already messed up so much. But the truth was that he did not regret it.
In his heart, he believed that he had done the right thing. Although he did not know how, he was definitely sure that it was the right thing he had done.
Since things had come to this, then he was going to pursue it all to the very end.
Dylan activated his Spiritual energy forcing it to circulate round his body and seal up the bleeding spaces. After which, he forced the dislocated bone of his leg into place.
His eyes focused on the escape route of his prey, and he followed after him, staggering along the way, left to right.
Just as the Hyena man had done, he removed the throne and followed into the hole. The place was much darker than the other parts of the cave, but not so dark that he could not navigate through.
As he moved, his heart beat erratically. Till this moment, the smile of the young girl still played continually in his mind, and he could not help but remember that cooked meal that was the remnant of who she was.
He had never truly known her, but he could imagine the pain of being cooked alive. For a reason he did not know, he was pushed to punish her murderer.
He wanted more than anything to avenge her. And so, regardless of the pain that ravished his body, he forced his way forward, one painful step at a time.
He never made a stop along the way, using the walls as crutches as he moved.

Eventually, he made it to a brighter room. Just in front were two-one horned Horse core beasts, with a rabbit-woman in front. this Rabbit woman was simply dressed, but she had an obvious slave collar around her neck.
On the Horned Core Horse beasts were luggage. The rabbit-woman were fastening them to the core beasts.
Dylan’s eyes darted around, searching for the Hyena-man. However, he did not see him.
Unknown to Dylan, the Hyena man was just above his head, hanging upside down on the ceiling.
The Hyena-man’s eyes shone in a subtle yellow glow, and then he smiled as he jumped down, his claws coming right for Dylan’s head. This hit was sure to remove Dylan’s head.
However, Dylan’s instincts kicked in and he moved over to the side. Only slightly, but it was enough. The Claw brushed past his Dylan’s shoulder, shaving significant meat as it did.
“AHHH!” Dylan screamed, but using the momentum that propelled his fall, he turned around, his holographic blade appearing as he tore the Hyena man from the shoulder down to the stomach.
The Hyena-man groaned in pain. His blood splashed on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Rabbit woman watched, hidden behind one of the Core beasts…
