Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 438
Chapter 438: Dylan’s Sin To Momo
As Dylan ran through the town towards the stream area, he could not help but flash back to the Chanland kingdom.
He remembered when Chiron had shared them into different groups and how he had explained the poison to them.
he had used a wild core beast as example, chunking some of the liquid into its belly. It had been a Blue cored double Horned rhino. The same one that the Vandora kingdom used in the Highlands because of the hilly region.
This beast, as strong and great as it was had died a miserable death. This poison was gotten from the blood of those the Chanland kingdom that naturally produced the Blue joker’s poison.
Except that Chiron had tampered with the poison right from within the blood of the person while it was cooking to be the danger that it was to the world.
What Chiron did was specifically mutate the genes that created the poison so that teh poison would become specific to a category of people.
Now, the experiment was not all too perfect and if a human were to take it, they might be affected, but that was only on the condition that they were high ranked cultivators or at least able to redirect the poison out of their bloodstreams using their cultivation.
Of course, this meant that the poison was not perfect. Chiron only had so little time to create something like this. But against Beast people who were half Beast and have human, it worked incredibly well.
This was especially true because the poison was made specifically for the harming of core beasts. Of course chiron did say that it was tsill possible for some core beasts to resist it, but that was on condition, even he did not fully grab the specifics because it was still in its early statges.
However, against the beast people, it was an incredible potent weapon. coupled with the ability that the blue joker’s poison had which was its ability to easily spread, the best place to place the poison was in the water system.
Chiron’s target had not been those in power. After all, a government was not a government without people to govern.
Yes, is target was the people.
The Beast people had a population that was mostly weak and uncared for. Their ability to produce a lot in a short period of time also added to their social and economical problems.
With their beast nature and their need to survive as a result of competition, one would think that as a nation, they were very strong, but the latter was the truth.
They could never fully embrace their beast nature and they could also never fully embrace the human part of them. Being stuck in the center was bound to lead them astray.
Having the strengths and weakness of both worlds was not always a good thing.
This meant that a lot of their populace was actually people that were very weak in nature.
With all that had happened so far, Dylan had absolutely forgotten about the state of things and how Chiron had given instruction for the fall of an entire nation just because they touched his sister.
Time and time again, itr had popped in his head to tell Momo, but one thing led to another and he was starting to enjoy the good life and totally forgot.
Also, a part of him begged to believe that they would not be successful.
Also, the last time he had gone to the stream, it had not been poisonous. Considering the deadline that chiron gave them, he assumed that all was well.
Little did he know that when he least expected it, Fate was going to come and take a chucky bite out of his Ass.
As he ran through the town, the buildings blurred at the sides, subconsciously, he could see more people. Some of them coughing out blood and begging for help. Some others already not moving at different corners, but no, he did not want to think about it.
No, he did not want to believe it.
No! it can’t be! It can’t be.
As he ran, every fiber of his being prayed hard. his heart, beating so hard in his chest that he could hear it even at the speed he was moving.
For the first time since he came to this town, he realized that the stream was so far from the Orphanage. he coudl not help but scream out his lungs as he begged his legs to be faster.
At this point, he even put spiritual energy into his sprinting so that he could get there faster.
The children, his new lover, he could not let harm come to them. No! he couldn’t. if anything were to happen to them, he would never forgive himself for the rest of his life.
Finally, he could see the stream far off in the horizon, there, he could see the silhouettes of people lying on the ground.

Obviously, many of them were already poisoned. He could also see that some were not. those that had not drank from the poisoned stream looked to be alright.
On reaching the stream, he did not even care about the sound of water in his ears and the screams of those that had lost loved ones.
All he could do was search with his eyes. All he could do was look around for any signs of her. “Momo! Momo!! Momo!!” he called out in search for her. He really prayed in his heart.
Unfortunately, there was nothing. He was almost losing hope, and then he heard it.
“Dylan, over here!”
His head turned sharply in that direction and he ran over to her.
She was over one of the children. He was trying to resuscitate him back. she kept on pumping on his chest for him to come back, but it was no use.
The other kids were also on the ground and it was obvious that they were also poisoned. After all, blue blood fell from their lips and orifices.
“Dylan, help me. I don’t know what to do. They are dying.” she spoke without raising her head.
Dylan felt a bit of relief that she was alright. “Did you drink the water?” he asked.
She shook her head, “No! I did not.” Once more, relief washed through him. However, the kids still needed saving. Immediately, he placed his hands on the child’s chest.
“We have to use our spirit energy to purge the poison out.” he instructed, remembering Chiron’s description of how the poison worked.
Immediately, she did as he instructed. Pushing her spiritual energy into the body of the child.
As they did this, Dylan used his spiritual energy like lens to see within the child’s body and guide the cleansing. He could also feel that Momo’s spiritual energy was following his lead.
slowly, both of them guided the poison out of the child’s system.
“its working!” she exclaimed.
Dylan, feeling her excitement continued, putting in more effort. However, just when all the poison was almost cleared.
Something most unexpected suddenly happened.
*COUGH! COUGH!!!*
It was Momo’s cough, and it sounded like the clap of thunder in his ears.
immediately, his eyes turned to her.
She had coughed her mouth as he coughed. But when she removed it, it was a mixture of red and blue blood.
Slowly, she raised her head to him. And then he saw it. for a second, he froze. Every cell in his body refused to move in absolute disbelieve.
In his eyes, the image of her face was reflected. Her eyes were leaking blue blood, and that was the same thing for her nose.
It was not until she fell to the side that he got himself back together, diving to catch her before she touched the ground.
he held her by her head, his arms shaking in the process.
he could not believe it. Even though she was before his eyes, stained blue and red, he did not want to believe it.
Immediately, he activated his spiritual energy, pumping it into her body in an attempt to save her, but for some reason, it was not working.
No! That was not it. he could barely feel spiritual energy from er own body.
Only moments ago, he could feel her spiritual energy flow into the child, and then all of a sudden, it was now all gone.
As if she understood his confusion, she raised her hand to his face, “I had used some on Mich before leaving the house to avoid another attack.”
Dylan stared at her in confusion, “But… but you said that you did not drink the water. You said….”
Dylan thought hard as he looked around. Momo did not drink from the stream, but she had given quite a number of children mouth to mouth, in other to resuscitate them.
The poison had reached her in that manner, coupled with her low spiritual energy that she pumped into their bodies in an attempt to save them, she had allowed the poison spread through out her organs.
All the while, it was only her will power that had been keeping her….
