Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 449
Chapter 449: The Seer is Worried
In the time that Chiron destroyed the Beast kingdom, and even faced off a Dragon, he was not aware that far off in another land, something unimaginable was happening.
In the Crystal walls of a place known as the Holy Land, an ancient figure stood before an ivory crystal wall. This was within the Holy Church, a place of transcendent beauty and ever-changing splendor.
The Holy Church itself was a marvel, its crystalline walls reflecting the light in myriad hues, creating a breathtaking display of colors that seemed to dance and shift with each passing moment.
The light streaming through the crystalline windows cast a kaleidoscope of colors across the polished floors, creating an ever-shifting tapestry of light and shadow.
It was said that in the thousand years of its existence, the patterns adorning the church had never once repeated, each day offering a unique masterpiece of divine artistry.
Scholars, seekers of wisdom, and those in search of cultivation guidance often journeyed here, hoping for a glimpse of inspiration that would last a lifetime. The air was thick with reverence and awe, the very atmosphere imbued with a sense of the sacred and the sublime.
Yet today, the beauty of the Crystal Castle went unnoticed by those present. Their attention was wholly consumed by the old man standing before the ivory wall. His long white robes flowed around him like a waterfall of purity, and his beard, equally white, cascaded down to his knees. The man’s eyes, though aged, sparkled with an inner light of wisdom and power.
On his chest was the emblem of the Holy Church, a symbol of his high standing and authority within this hallowed institution. On his back, another emblem was displayed: the insignia of the Order of Magicians, signifying his dual mastery in both spiritual and arcane arts.
The ivory crystal wall before him was a wonder in its own right, its smooth surface shimmering with a gentle luminescence. It was as if the wall held within it the very essence of the heavens, a pure and untainted radiance that seemed to pulse with life. Then again, it did.
After all, in here was the Seer, the Oracle that had lived a thousand years. They were rumors of her cultivation rank, but rumors would forever, be rumors and nothing more.
No one truly knew how old or how strong she was. The only known thing was that she had maintained the peace of the land for one thousand years since the invasion of the Elves, and the war they brought.
At the same time, she was the only counter to the the demon mother in the Nether realm. Each one, good and bad, pushing and pulling against one another.
Also, aside the maids and knights of at least the silver rank, none was permitted to see her face. This created an extra layer of mystery to her already exulted figure. Nevertheless, this meeting was necessary one.
After all, the old man before her eyes was Known as the Magistri. Although he was a scholar, and did not engage in warfare, he was still the foremost representative of Magicians in the holy church.
Since the integration of Magic users, a group of people whose power essence remained unknown to the known world, were introduced into the church, he had been the mouthpiece of all of them, including those that were a part of the Holy knights.
The old man, with his long, flowing beard and robes, appeared almost ethereal as he stood in contemplation, his figure blending seamlessly with the divine surroundings.
As the old man stood before the ivory wall, deep in thought, the room around him seemed to hold its breath. Those gathered watched in silent anticipation, aware that something of great significance was about to unfold.
After all, he had come to plead a case. This was already the fourth time he was doing it. However, unlike the last few times he came, this one had a lot more significance.
After all, a series of things had happened. firstly, news had reached the seer’s ears that Knight Sheyi admitted that the curse that he placed on a Evil child had suddenly disappeared.
This was a curse that should in time, slowly, and surely consume the evil child. Curses were a deep branch of magic, and as such were far more difficult to deal with.
But somehow, the curse had been removed.
Considering the fact that even the seer did not know the secret to magic users, this was an incredibly alarming news. But that was not all.
They was more disturbing news. Firstly, Abel, another bronze ranked knight had failed in taking the Highlands, and had lost the treasure in its center mountain that he was tasked to retrieve. There was also the fact that the ecology of the area had totally changed.
Surely, even the Zodiac families that had not shown face would become very angry and in need of an explanation.
Natural, the Seer had already decided to use Abel as a sacrificial lamb when the time came.
Of course, Cain had also lost to the same Evil child.
But the truly incredible part was the fact that in all these things that had happened, the Seer, with her all seeing powers had some how lost sight of chiron.
Many of her minions have apprehend what she thought would be him, even engaging with forces of the demon mother in the process, however, he was gone.
Of course, they could have just searched for signs like his dragon, but the Seer had already gotten on the bad side of the Pig Zodiac Family. She was not going to involve the Dragon family in this mess.
As such, when it came to Chiron, an evil child that had proved his cunny, again and again, she could not believe it, but she was actually lost.

The worse part of it all, was that she had seen his terrifying ability to grow. The boy was not yet a teenager, and his environment was a terrible back water place, but he had already climbed in power so far.
Even her, was starting to become worried.
