Chapter 450: Knight Sheyi Is Coming
Then again, the Zodiac families were finally going to strike.

The arrival of the Dragon was evidence of that. Of course, those people also had their own internal strife, and an Icy dragon entering the Pig’s family Backyard was going to be problematic, but that was their case to worry about.

The Magistri before her today, had come with one proposal. It was a very simple one. “Let Knight Sheyi continue his hunt.”

The Seer had long contemplated this issue. After all, amongst all, the person that had been closest to capturing or even killing Chiron had been Knight Sheyi.

In his previous campaign, he had managed to be the one that earned Chiron the nick name ‘Armless Prince’. Truly, he had been the only person to go very far.

Besides, at this point, she had no choice. The Zodiac families will soon come knocking on her door. She only had one more chance at it.

So far, because of chiron, all the plans that they had in that place had somehow gone to dust. All except Cain’s effort at securing the Beast men of the New Beast kingdom. And even that, she would have to put on hold for the time being.

Within the Ivory glass that separated her and the Magistri, she relaxed on her long couch. In her many hundreds of years, this was the first time since the war with the elves that she was forced to use measures that she rather not.

All of a sudden, her voice went out, a beautiful subtle ringing that calmed all hearts. “You can’t fool me Magistri, I know you already permitted the release of Knight Sheyi days ago. A cunny old man like you, one that had lived since the war of the elves surely knew that I would give permission for his release.”

The Old man gave a forced chuckle, “Seer, you know that I will only do as your heart wishes, even if you do not see it, I will act for the growth and stability of this church and Holy land.”

She gave a ‘Hmph!’ sound at his words. “you have already done as you pleased, but be careful with me old man!”

Those words suddenly made the crystals on the walls of the Holy church crack in the magnitude of her presence. She had only released a whiff of her power and even the walls of the church could not stand the pressure that she gave.

Those within the church going about their normal activity could not help but fall to their knees, some of them leaking blood from their noses and ears. Even the silver knights that littered the place as guards were no exception.

However, the old man remained with a smile on his face. It was as if the pressure just now had not been directed to him.

“Of Course Seer!” He bowed in respect. And then he turned about, his figure, disappearing from sight like a gust of wind.

Meanwhile, Very far away from the Holy city, and nearer to the Vandora Kingdom than Chiron would believe, Knight Sheyi sat at the command post of the magnificent flying ship, a marvel of engineering and magic combined.

The ship’s structure was awe-inspiring, with sleek, aerodynamic lines and intricate carvings that adorned its metallic surface. The hull shimmered with a magical aura, giving off a soft, ethereal glow that illuminated the night sky. The vessel’s vast wings, forged from Holy enchanted metal and imbued with powerful runes, spread wide, cutting through the air with effortless grace.

The command post itself was an impressive sight, a blend of ancient craftsmanship and advanced technology. Panels of polished wood and brass surrounded Knight Sheyi, interspersed with glowing crystals that acted as control interfaces.

The helm, a beautifully carved piece of art, was embedded with various gemstones that pulsed with a steady light, indicating the ship’s power and status.

Seated in his bronze armor, Knight Sheyi exuded an air of authority and raw vengence. His Bronze armor, meticulously maintained, gleamed under the soft light, every detail reflecting his disciplined nature.

Beside him, his doll—a small figure resembling a ten-year-old girl—sat motionless. Sheyi occasionally reached out to stroke her hair, a gesture that seemed unsettlingly affectionate. The doll’s eyes, though lifeless, seemed to hold a mysterious depth, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

Standing behind Knight Sheyi were three figures, each with their own reasons for seeking revenge on Chiron. Danfo and Kevin, hardened warriors with grim expressions, stood ready and alert.

Their presence radiated a sense of urgency and fierce reckoning. The last figure was Dona, Chiron’s uncle and former chief of the Chikitsa clan. He was dressed in the robes of the Holy Church, a symbol that he had joined their ranks.

He too, had his reasons for wanting to kill Chiron. After all, Chiron had made him eat his own son, and then destroyed the entire clan.

Ever since that day, his mouth, even with his Sin of gluttony had not been able to taste meat again.

Dona’s eyes burned with a mixture of anger and sorrow, the betrayal by his own blood fueling his desire for vengeance.

The mood on the ship was palpably grim. As they soared through the sky, the wind whipping around them, each person was lost in their thoughts of retribution. The anticipation of confronting Chiron hung heavily in the air, creating a tense and somber atmosphere. The silence was only broken by the occasional creak of the ship’s timbers and the low hum of its magical engines.

As they flew towards their destination, the landscape below transformed from rolling hills to dense forests, and finally, to the charred and devastated remnants of the Chikitsa Clan that Chiron had ravaged. The sight of the destruction only steeled their resolve further.

In the dim light of the ship’s interior, Knight Sheyi’s eyes glinted with a cold, calculated intent. “Wait for me, boy, I am coming to take Your life.”
