Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 454
Chapter 454: Dylan Vs Deamon
All this while, for years of his life, he had been feeding on people.
For a moment, the image of dead Momo, the woman he had been in love with blended together with a gathering of children enjoying steaming meat from the kitchen.
All of a sudden, their cheering laugher and happiness at the food on their table suddenly looked like the evil smiles of predators.
Unable to hold his disgust any longer, Dylan Vomited to the side. He vomitted so hard that the only thing that came out at the end was stomach juicy, and even that tasted, extremely disgusting to him.
Slowly, and forcefully, he raised his head to look at Deamon. “You were among the few he always took for the hunt. You knew this and you never told me.” Dylan frowned.
“Aside the fact that we were not the only ones doing it, there was no reason for you to know. You have always been sympathetic. Hell, I remember how hard it was for you to get your first kill on a horned rat. You took forever, and after that, you cried for the next three days about it.”
“I was FIVE!” Dylan screamed.
“AND WE WERE ORPHANS!!!” Deamon screamed back. “we had to eat, and Shaman Gordon was gone for too long. But you did not want to work for your food. It is even a miracle to believe that you are now a soldier. This life was really not meant for you. You should not have even become a soldier.”
Deamon turned to leave, “when we get back, you should just go back to the country side and become a farmer.” However, as Deamon walked away, he heard Dylan’s words and the defiance in them.
“No! No!! I refuse to let it end like this. What is done is done. I came here for two things. Its either I get Prince Chiron to change his view of these people or I’ll kill him.”
Those words made all the soldiers shocked and a few of them that had their weapons pointed to the senators redirected it to Dylan. After all, what he had just said was intent at treason. That statement alone was enough for his death to be assured.
However, Deamon raised a hand, indicating that those that had itchy fingers were to back off.
After all, he understood them a lot. They had been through thick and thin with their Prince, and by his leadership, he had brought them glory, again and again.
Feats that would have been otherwise impossible for the greatest generals of the country, Chiron had been able to do. This was already the second country they had fallen by following his lead and guidance.
As soldiers, and men that hungered for glory and the stories that came with it, they were naturally loyal to such a leader. The best part was that Chiron was still very young. He was not even yet a teenager, and the achievements to his name would shake the known world.
Such a leader was eternally charismatic. So charismatic that it was not an understatement to say that they were even some soldiers amongst this bunch that worshipped him.
In their hearts, Chiron’s words were law, and his image was the grace that shone on them.
If Chiron had asked any random one of them to give his life, they was absolutely no doubt that he would do it with no hesitation whatsoever.
Some might even sacrifice their loved ones for his sake. And now, Dylan was threatening to kill such a person.
He was threatening to Kill their God.
Deamon turned to him, he had a smirk on his face. “We both know that is impossible. Prince Chiron is young, but even Captain Timi admitted that he is nothing compared to him. And Commander hardstone himself has acknowledged him. There is nothing a country brat like you can do. Now, go home…” Deamon gave him a warning look, “And I’ll pretend that I did not hear the stupid things you just said.”
Dylan frowned hard, “AAAHHHHHH!!!” He screamed loudly, “Do you think me a child, Deamon?”
“Yes I do. But just so that you satisfy your hunger, why don’t you do it? Why don’t you come at me? I know captain Timi and even lady Emma have been giving you special lessons—orders from Prince Chiron himself. The one who you want to kill so bad.”
On Saying this, Deamon took a fighting stance. As he did, his forearm glowed and the totem of a sword shone forth. Unlike Dylan that had a broad sword, Deamon’s was much thinner.
Dylan stood up slowly, he walked over to a corner. There, he placed the child, mich down on the ground. “Just wait a minute, okay! I’ll be back.”
Mich looked at Dylan’s caring eyes and he nodded.
Dylan walked to the open space that would be used for their battle. “In a fight, you have never won against me, Deamon. Besides my cultivation level is higher than your own.”
Deamon raised a brow at those words. His gaze reflected a very cunny look, “oh really, do you think that just because you have a rare, special Dantain that you are better than me?”
Dylan nodded, “yes, I do!”
“Then how about a Wager, If I win, and I will, you will stop this foolishness of yours, retire from the army and return to the kingdom.”

“Agreed!” Dylan spoke up immediately.
“And also…” Deamon turned to Mich at the far corner, “I’ll be taking that one!”
This time around, Dylan frowned. But he quickly spoke up, “And If I win, you will let me an audience with Prince Chiron as well as stop the Killing of the Beast People. That includes them.” Dylan pointed to the remaining Senators who were still alive.
Dylan gave a smirk, “Deal!”
“Commander! The Prince gave an order.” Banda immediately spoke up, in obvious rebel against the terms of the deal, but Deamon was not going to back off now.
“Lets seal it in a Blood Oath then!” Dylan suggested as he waved his hand and a contract paper appeared.
