Chapter 482: Two massive Dragons
As Chiron and his slaves flew on the dragon’s back towards the Forbidden Fog of Unbounded Demise, the landscape below them transformed into a desolate wasteland.

There were little to no people leaving in this parts, especially because of the raids from the Orc tribes that could happen at any time.

The fog loomed ahead, an impenetrable wall of mist that seemed to stretch endlessly upwards, reaching the very heavens.

It was an eerie sight, the dense fog swirling and churning as if alive, obscuring everything beyond it and creating a sense of an entirely separate world lying within.

And then came the attack. It was a massive ball of ice, and the fire Dragon maneuvered, barely dodging the attack in the air.

As they drew closer, Chiron noticed two massive dragons in front of the fog, their forms becoming clearer against the backdrop of the mist.

These dragons were gargantuan, dwarfing Chiron’s own dragon in size and presence.

The first dragon had a metallic sheen to its scales, each one gleaming like polished steel. Its body was a marvel of armored plates, interlocking seamlessly to form a nearly impenetrable defense.

The dragon’s eyes glowed a fierce blue, matching the radiant core embedded in its chest. This core pulsed with energy, casting an ethereal light that illuminated the fog around it. The metallic dragon’s wings were vast, their edges razor-sharp, cutting through the air with a steely grace. Every movement it made exuded power and precision, a perfect blend of brute strength and mechanical efficiency.

Beside the metallic dragon was its counterpart, an ice dragon that radiated an intense, bone-chilling cold. Its scales were a crystalline blue, shimmering like frozen glaciers in the pale light. The ice dragon’s core was also blue, but it glowed with a frosty luminescence, a beacon of icy energy. Frost formed on the air around it, creating a shimmering halo of ice particles that sparkled like diamonds. Its breath was visible as clouds of icy mist, and every exhale sent a shiver through the air.

The dragon’s eyes were a piercing, icy blue, devoid of warmth and filled with a cold, calculating intelligence. Its wings, vast and translucent, seemed to be made of solid ice, catching the light and refracting it in dazzling patterns. The ground below them froze upon their presence, evidence to the raw power they commanded.

Chiron frowned at this. The Fog was just ahead, their destination close, but they just had to face creatures that were very irritating to him.

However, seeing that their core rank was only Blue, he chuckled lightly. After all, he had faced a Red core dragon before. Chiron believed that if he could deal with that one, then he could deal with this one two.

However, he suddenly noticed something. The Ice dragon gave a side smirk, as if to say, ‘you are mistaking’.

Immediately, it fired a blast of ice at them.

The Red Blood-fire Dragon immediately opened its mouth and fired back at them.

At first, Chiron’s dragon was wining, but to his surprise, the force pushed the dragon back, and all of a sudden, it was now losing.

Chiron stepped forward, waving his hands, as he also sent forth a blast of fire.

However, the Ice dragon gave a look as if it had been insulted.

*BOOM!*

It launched a breath of ice, instantly freezing up Chiron’s fire ball in the air. The supposed fire ball fell to the ground in a lump of ice.

The most surprising part was not that his fire ball was just frozen, but that he could see as the fire ball slowly extinguished within the ice that had totally covered it.

And then without looking in Chiron’s direction again, it faced the flames from the fire Dragon.

The result of the match surprised Chiron as his red-Blood Fire Dragon plunged to the ground.

The Ice Dragon laughed loudly. “See, I told you I did not need help to take them down.”

Chiron, however could not believe what was happening.

He looked up ahead. There, not far away was the fog.

Immediately, he rushed for it. However, Chains, making loud Jingling noises were launched from the metal Dragon, instantly, seizing Chiron just before he could make it.

Chiron waved his hands in an attempt to break the chains. After all, he was a Bronze rank cultivator but to his surprise, it did nothing.

Carla was also captured.

Chiron was at a loss for words. “HOW!? You are only of the Blue Core rank.”

The Ice Dragon had been busy boosting to the Metal dragon of its strength when it heard chiron’s words.

It chuckled, “I heard that elder sister Venir was killed of recent in this back water land. from what we gather, it was your doing.” Her voice echoed from her chest and her mouth did not move in line with her words.

“You must think that because you managed to bring her down, that we will be small fry to you.” She suddenly frowned, “you are such an ignorant fool. Elder Sister Venir was afflicted with Draco Venenum!”

On hearing those words Chiron’s eyes brightened in sudden realization. After all, he wondered why he had faced an icy dragon that was wearing armor.

After all, Dragons were a very proud people. And each one was proud of their scales, but the dragon he fought wore armor, as if to protect herself.

Draco Venenum was a disease that only affected Dragon kind. It made them very weak. So weak that their skin would not even be able to carry their scales.

Meaning that the dragon that he had defeated wearing armor was akin to a human being using plaster or bandages to cover up very bad wounds.

But that was not all, Chiron sensed there was something even deeper than that. They had to be a reason. And then he looked closely at the bodies of these Dragons. Their Blue core, it was slightly different, as if swimming with life within.

“You are all Awakened!” He muttered to himself. “FUCK! FUCK!! FUCK!!!” Chiron screamed to himself in annoyance. After all, how could he have been so carried away that he had not noticed.

If he had, he would have not opt to face them from beginning, but to maneuver his way and make it into the fog…
