Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 484
Chapter 484: She is Back
Chiron slumped against the cold, unyielding ground, the metallic chains of the dragon wrapped tightly around his body. The links glowed faintly, infused with spiritual energy that seemed to sap his strength and kept him immobilized.
His servants were similarly bound, each one shackled and helpless, their faces etched with pain and frustration.
The ice dragon towered over Chiron’s red-blood fire dragon, its icy breath chilling the air and causing frost to form on the stone floor.
The Red-Blood fire dragon lay on its side, panting heavily, its body marred by wounds and exhaustion from pushing itself and burning power from its core. Its scales, normally vibrant with a fiery glow, were dulled and cracked, evidence of the brutal treatment it had endured.
The ice dragon sneered down at the fire dragon, a cruel gleam in its icy blue eyes. It lifted a massive, clawed foot and brought it down hard on the fire dragon’s head, the impact reverberating through the earth. The fire dragon let out a pained roar, but the ice dragon was relentless, kicking it repeatedly, each blow accompanied by a stream of venomous words.
“What a disgrace,” the ice dragon hissed, its voice a cold, biting wind. “A proud dragon, reduced to a mere steed for a human child. Pathetic! Even worse, the human is not even awakened. You have shamed our kind by allowing yourself to be ridden by such an insignificant creature.”
It stepped on the fire dragon’s wound, pressing down with a cruel, deliberate slowness. Blood oozed from the injury, and the fire dragon’s roar turned into a low, anguished groan.
“Look at you,” the ice dragon continued, its voice dripping with contempt. “Once, you were a symbol of power and majesty. Now, you are nothing but a broken beast, chained and humiliated. You have sullied the noble blood of our race. Don’t you know the old tales, the glory of our ancestors? They would weep to see what you have become.”
The insults continued to pour from the ice dragon’s mouth, each one a dagger aimed at the fire dragon’s pride.
But the Ice Dragon did not know that the dragon had none to begin with.
“You are a disgrace to dragonkind. A slave to a human child, a creature who hasn’t even awakened his Dantain. How low you have fallen. Don’t you feel the shame? Don’t you feel the weight of your failure?”
The ice dragon’s words were designed to cut deep, to wound not just the body but the spirit. It reveled in the fire dragon’s suffering, its cruel satisfaction evident in every mocking syllable.
“Where is your fire now?” it jeered. “Where is the strength that once burned so brightly? Extinguished, like a weak flame snuffed out by the slightest breeze. You are a laughingstock, a pathetic shadow of what you once were.”
“That’s enough Styx, I am sure he understands your frustration…” However, the Metal dragon’s eyes suddenly caught something of note. “A Cursed one! Don’t touch him.” He pushed Styx away as he pointed to the upside down question mark on the forehead of the red-Blood Fire Dragon.
And then the metal Dragon turned to Chiron, “You monster! you made him do this. A Dragon will never eat from its own kind, especially one so young.”
Styx Stepped forward, raising her heavy leg in an attempt to step on Chiron, but the Metal Dragon stopped her with a wave of its wings, chains, holding her back. “let me step on the ant like the trash he is, Kaido!”
“No!” Kaido protested, “We have rules. We will take him to the Island for judgement by the Elders. Besides, this Dragon is not normal!”
“What do you mean?” Stx asked.
“Can’t you see. He’s scales! That pattern, and the Runes it carries.”
It was only now that Stx looked closely. “He is… He is of Royal blood!?”
Kaido Nodded, “even if we want to do something about it, we can’t. And that trash is the master of a royal blooded dragon. It is out of our hands.”
As they conversed with one another, they did not notice a little insect, a spider crawling around their body to reach Chiron and then climb his shoulder.
A whisper came into his ear, “I have missed you, Chiron.”
Chiron was taken back by those words, and was about to turn, but then he head the light voice again, “don’t move! I don’t want them to know.”
This voice was light but strangely familiar, yet, Chiron could not remember where he had heard it from.
“Who are you?” he asked lowly.
“Huh!? You don’t remember me? Have I changed that much?” the voice, obviously female responded in a giggle. “its me, Chiron. Its Fanzi!”
Those words made Chiron surprised. “Zi!?” He asked back.
“Yes, its me… Oh heavens, he still remembers me. This is the best day of my life.”
Chiron could hear the spider giggle in joy and happiness.

Zi as Chiron remembered she was called was Fanzi, Ponzi’s cousin back at the Chikitsa Clan. She had been a part of Chiron’s hunting group back then, and was the only other person to have survived the death of the group apart from Chiron and Carla.
(Author’s note: Check from Chapter 108 of the first Volume)
Back then, she had been extremely shy, however, she had a massive crush on Chiron and always did everything to please him.
After the incident with Ponzi and the twins that tried to kill him, Chiron had no further use of her and had even told her to her face that she was useless during their last confrontation.
And like everyone that was at the Chikitsa Clan, Chiron thought that she died with the masses.
What Chiron did not know was that his words had pushed Zi on the path of desperation. She wanted power to stand by his side no matter what and would do anything to acquire it.
And so she did the unthinkable. She fed on the flesh of the half Elf elder after Chiron was done. The corpse that had opened up the portal to the Nether Realm.
Yes, hiding under the rubbles, she had fed on the heart of the Half elf, Elder Ellen….
