For a moment, there was total silence. Laqua did not say anything, and subconsciously, all eyes were on her.

Meanwhile, Old Fang at the side, could not help but give a side smile. Truly, his young master was very capable. His ability to read the situation and twist the happenings to his favor was the reason he was able to even keep his uncle and his cousins away from the succession as master of the diligence family.

This was indeed an incredible ability. He was not strong when it came to martial arts but the cap of leadership was that he was gifted with.

After a few seconds of silence, Laqua cracked a side smile, “not bad!” she muttered to herself. She had heard of this Eunid, a talent of the young generation, same as Iris. Truly, the rumors were true with this one.

He handled this situation in such a way that impressed her as much as it surprised her.

She could have said more, but she was a warrior and was not suited for such matters that depended on eloquence with words. Besides, she could tell that against this young master’s tongue, she was probably not going to win.

And so she backed off.

Eunid gritted his teeth harshly.

Old Fang wanted to talk, but he could not. He was a commoner and this was a push and pull between aristocrats. Besides, this was another lesson for Eunid to learn.

Laqua smiled, “I’ll have the girl prepared for you, a proper bath and some clothes, and a tag so she wont die before reaching your lands.”

She turned about and walked away, smiling at the profit she had just made.

She was not so good at a lot of things, but a good bargain was her field, trained with years of experience. Even a Talented Genius like Eunid had to respect that fact.

However, as she walked away, Iris landed gracefully by her side. Although she did, her eyes were still on Eunid and Nora, being carried away.

“Is something the matter?” Laqua noticed her niece’s mood.

“That slave! The one you just sold. She had the mark of the Talent swapping flower on her chest.”

Laqua smiled, “so she is even a broken toy. Truly trash then. Its even better.”

However, Iris frowned a little, “The Yin and Yang Talent swapping flower is a dangerous spirit herb to use. Even the person taking the talent could die.”

“Your point?” Laqua asked.

“What kind of talent did she have that one would risk death to steal…”
