Chapter 562: Mistress Nightfall Of The Magicians
As they stepped into the Second zone, a place whose access was no longer restricted by one clan, Deamon, Dylan and eight others did so with determination.
With how things had progressed, the tome that they had read, now had little to no use. All they could do was to wing it as it came.
At the same time, these people although strong, did not know that what waited for them ahead was a different world of pain.
Truly, the female Orc Chief had been doing them a favor when she said that she was only going to allow ten of them into the Second Zone.
Dylan, like the others, proceeded into the second zone. Unknown to him, Deamon took a look at his back with a more precise look.
After all, Black arrow had said it. Just before they left, she had advised that Dylan was only as useful as can be, and that any opportunity that Deamon should have, should be used to kill Dylan.
She even added that she understood that they were childhood friends, but that would not help their current situation.
Deamon had agreed with her back then….
The fog grew denser as Dylan, Deamon, his comrades pressed forward. Visibility was nearly zero, with each step feeling like a descent into an abyss. The air itself seemed to press against them, thick and oppressive, and a prickling sensation began to crawl over their skin.
The prickling grew fiercer, turning into sharp, painful pinches that made them wince and gasp. They tried to brush it off, but the pain only intensified, digging deep into their flesh. It was as if the fog itself was alive, probing and testing their very essence.
Then came the sudden, excruciating pain from within their chests. It felt like their Dantain, their source of power was rebelling against them, beating at them hard from the inside. Each warrior clutched at their chests, their faces contorted in agony, except for Dylan. He stood apart, his expression calm and untroubled, as if he felt nothing at all.
Deamon, despite his own pain, noticed Dylan’s composure and managed to ask him, “Why aren’t you feeling this?”
Dylan shook his head, confused. “I don’t know. I just don’t feel anything.”
The others looked to Deamon for guidance, but he too was in pain. “I can’t feel anything either,” he said through gritted teeth, trying to mask his discomfort.
What they did not realize was that the fog was testing their dantian, the core of their spiritual power, to see if they were awakened. Only Dylan, whose dantian was uniquely different, remained unaffected.
Pushing through the most oppressive part of the fog was a grueling ordeal, each step a battle against the relentless pain. But they were determined, driven by their mission to find Chiron. Slowly, the fog began to thin, and they emerged, breathless and exhausted, into a clearer area.
Their relief was short-lived. As they looked ahead, they saw their first obstacle: Bloodlusts. These creatures were fearsome, their bodies covered in dark, glistening armor, their eyes glowing with malevolent energy. and their sexual appetite obvious from their excited erections.
They moved with a terrifying, rough grace, and their numbers were overwhelming, stretching far into the mountainous terrain.
The Bloodlusts were a force of pure aggression, driven by an insatiable hunger for sexual satisfaction and destruction. They hissed and growled, their claws clicking against the rocky ground as they advanced.
Dylan and Deamon exchanged a grim look. This was a fight they couldn’t avoid. “Prepare for battle!” Deamon called out, his voice steady and commanding.
The warriors readied their weapons, forming a tight, defensive formation. They knew that this would be a fight for survival, and they could not afford to make any mistakes. The Bloodlusts surged forward, and the clash began.
The battle was fierce, with the warriors fighting desperately to hold their ground. The Bloodlusts were relentless, attacking with a ferocity that tested the limits of their endurance. Swords clashed, arrows flew, and spiritual totems of core beasts crackled through the air as the two sides clashed in a brutal struggle.
Despite the overwhelming odds, the warriors fought with unwavering determination. Deamon’s leadership and Dylan’s strength inspired them, and they pushed back against the tide of Bloodlusts, each strike serving as evidence of their will to survive and complete their mission.
But the Bloodlusts were numerous, and the fight seemed endless. The warriors’ muscles burned with fatigue, and their breaths came in ragged gasps. Yet, they knew they could not give up.
The battle raged on, a deadly dance of life and death in the shadow of the mountains. And as they fought, the warriors drew strength from each other, their bonds of camaraderie and their shared purpose driving them to push past their limits. soon, they killed the last one.
However, relief was short lived. As the next wave appeared.
…..
Meanwhile, in an arena beyond the veil, the sky had suddenly turned dark and then a shy laughter was heard as a figure floating in the sky appeared.
It was a young girl that looked about her teenage years, and she was sitting on a carpet, surely a treasure of some kind.
She had her hair packed into two pony tails behind her, with clothes as dark as the sky sprinkled with sparkles. A huge necklace of a totem eye was about her neck, and even with her pale skin, she had a very cheerful attitude about her.

Which was actually very mesmerizing to behold.
However, the sudden sight of her, made everyone present to have a bit of a panic.
Nora, sitting beside old fang could not help but notice the slight frown on his face.
“Is that an enemy?” she asked.
Old fang shook his head as he sighed, “she is worse!”
“Worse!?” Nora blunted out. However, even though old fang said such a thing, there was visibly no effort made to contain the supposed threat.
At such a time, shouts could be heard from the sky, “Mistress, please don’t go down there, the Diligence family is having a duel.”
It came from a few men also riding on carpets behind her. Each one of them dressed uniquely different from the rest of the Diligent family.
If Chiron was here, then he would conclude that their dressing had an Arabian vibe to it, with their hats and overall robes that seemed to capture attention immediately.
They too, had totem necklaces around their necks, but these were all silver in color. one of them was an aged man that looked to be in his eighties while, the other two were far younger.
However, all three of them carried magician staffs.
The sight of them sent a ripple of conversations amongst the audience.
At such a time, Mulligan raised a hand, and instantly, everyone in the huge audience shut up.
Slowly, he stood to his feet as he gave a polite bow to the young girl in the air. “Mistress Nightfall, daughter of the stars, to what do I owe such honor?”
However, Nightfall was not so polite as to return his bow, instead, she navigated her carpet to reach Eunid’s side. “I was in the neighborhood hunting, and I heard a rumor, that my ‘Talking Pumpkin’ was going to have a battle, I came to wish him well.” she came close with a sexy predatory look, and even though Eunid tried to take a step back, she still attempted to lick him.
Fortunately, just before her tongue would reach him, the old man magician grabbed her by her clothes and pulled her back.
“Mistress Nightfall, that is most undignifing for a lady of your position.”
“But I want to taste him. Please… let me taste him. Just a little.” She nagged, but the old magician with a stern look, did not let her go.
Unsurprisingly, Eunid expected this. He sighed as he waved to her, “Nice to meet you again, Mistress Nightfall.”
“Nooo!!!” Nightfal stumped her foot like a spoiled brat, “I have told you before, don’t call me THAT!”
The moment she said this, the night in the sky, seemed to have gotten darker, literally, obviously reacting to her rise in anger.
“Eunid!” Mulligan called to his son.
Eunid sighed again, “my bad… its nice to see you too, Angii.”
Instantly, she became giddy. And even wanted to leap on him again, but before she could, the old man grabbed her, “Mistress please. You know you can’t have such contact, else he dies.”
“But I want to hold him…” she nagged, “you old man, you don’t love me anymore. You don’t want me to hold my Talking pumpkin.”
The old man rolled his eyes at her. Obviously, her words were not going to sway him.
Instead. he turned to Mulligan, “I do apologize for our mistress’s behavior. Please, allow us the opportunity to be able to watch the proceeding with you. If not, she will throw a tantrum back home.”
Mulligan nodded, “I understand, Grand Elder Pangubox, Please, have a seat with us.”
On saying this, the luxury box as if commanded by some invisible force, literally expanded as runes on the body glowed a faint blue light, creating seats and tables for the uninvited guests…
