Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 569
Chapter 569: Nora’s Plan
On getting to the Scorpions, She did something incredible. Looking around, she picked up a rock with a rather very sharp edge.
And then she began to cut her body. mutilating herself.
“what is she doing?” The Elders asked one another, while some of them stated that this looked like a demonic ritual, speculating whether she was of demon origins.
However, Mulligan looked closely. “She is looking to grab their attention. After all…”
“…the only thing thing Core beast scorpions value more than supremacy is food.” Old fang finished his statement, remembering that he had once thrown Nora into a pit of scorpions during her training, presenting her as food for them.
back then, they had all rushed her way, stopping whatseover it was there were doing.
Nora was effectively using the same concept except that this place was filled with many people. Meaning that it was saturated with the smell of human beings. The only way to catch the attention of these creatures was to literally smell more delicious.
As she did this, she also activated her spiritual energy, therefore enriching the blood that came out of the injuries on her body.
Just as one would guess, there all turned to her.
meanwhile, at the time that Nora had sprinted towards the scorpions, Eunid had also stood to his feet. He stripped himself of his armor.
After all, it currently had no use. If Arid were to hit him, although the armor could take some of the damage, all it would do was carve the armor into his skin. That was a very terrible wound to have.
Besides, it slowed him down. Now more than ever, against a silver ranked cultivator, he needed as much speed as he could fathom.
And so he began to strip it all off, and as fast as he could at that.
Soon, he was done with that, at just the time that Arid struck again.
Arid still used the knife, and Eunid used a piece of the lance that had broken off as a result of their battle. It was relatively longer than the knife. However, the knife with Arid was of superior quality.
And then began the battle, again, Eunid gave it his all.
Arid chuckled at him, “look at you trash. even your slave lover has ran for her life. But don’t worry, I’ll make sure to give her a good fucking with your dried up bones when you die.”
As he talked, the rune on his arm glowed brighter and brighter, and from the looks of it, it had began to peel off his skin. It was very terrible to look at. As it look as if the rune was digging painfully into his muscles, but Arid himself was not aware of this.
*Diligent Dance Of The Goddess’s Blade*
Arid moved, his feet taking certain steps as he weaved his spiritual technique to activate his attack.
Eunid frowned but also did the same thing.
*Diligent Dance Of The Goddess’s Blade*
All of a sudden, both of them moved, and the spiritual energy about their bodies like weaving threads of fine cloth.
However, the elders were shocked at what they were seeing. some of them even stood to their feet, including mulligan.
“is that still the same technique?” One of them asked as the way Eunid moved differed a great deal from the way that Arid moved.
This particular technique was a well known technique in the family. It was also one of those fundamental techniques one needed to learn before a certain age as it helped them create a stronger connection with the family’s fire.
Everyone knew it. One could wake any child of the family from sleep, and with sleepy eyes still perform the technique.
It was not a very complicated one. However, the spiritual energy had to be guided through certain meridians within the body and then circulated again within the dantain before projecting out in the weapon.
However it was much different than most would understand, after all, one’s body must move in a certain well measured direction or else the technique will not be performed properly.
Arid had done this perfectly and although he had a stronger connection to the family flame than Eunid, Eunid should not fumble such an obviously very easy move to perform, but with what everyone was seeing, it was not so.

After all, when performing the technique, Eunid’s body went lower then usual, his legs expanded more, his forward toes faced a 45 degree angle instead of a fifty. This much change should offset the attack, however, it did not.
Instead, the spiritual energy that had been produce out the broken lance was sharper, and even more brazen.
This was action that surprised even Eunid that performed the technique.
It was so sharp that it actually managed to withstand Arid’s attack, even though Arid was of far more superior cultivation.
*BOOM!*
the attack with its explosive force against one another pushed them back.
“Impossible!” Arid spoke through gritted teeth.
Then again, what he said was true. However, the purer the performing of a technique, the higher the grade of that technique and this naturally in turn equated to the quality of the technique.
Meaning that if a technique of incredible quality was performed by a person of lower rank, it could in turn be able to stand a technique performed poorly by one with superior cultivation.
Of course, this also depended on the power gap between the parties.
“A bronze rank cultivator in the fourth rank, fighting against a Silver cultivator in the first rank? With this battle alone, Eunid would climb the ladder for his generation’s geniuses. Another Elder commented.
“Hmmm! that is if he manages to survive this battle to the end.” another one added, and then he realized what he had just said and turned to mulligan, bowing his head as he asked for forgiveness. But Mulligan could careless about what he thought.
Instead, his eyes was on the battle.
Mulligan had the strongest connection to the family’s flame, and he could tell that what Eunid had just performed was a more refined move of the technique.
It was not only refined, but incredibly beautiful to watch.
“when did he do such a thing!?” Mulligan subconsciously asked. After all, refining a technique such as this would take one at least a couple of years, or even tens of years, and even then, the person would have to focus solely on that technique for a very long time, after all, techniques all had incubation periods.
What he did not know was that this was not Eunid’s handy work. It was in fact Nora’s.
When she had locked heads with him, She had passed him a lot of techniques she had refined in her body. This were techniques she had leant about due to the scrolls that old fang had given her.
Nora was a Cauldron in both spirit and body. Anything that went into her was bound to grow and improve incredibly.
Even though she was currently a broken cauldron, she was still able to improve this technique a little bit.
If she was healed fully, then she would be able to increase it by at least ten to a hundred times. Such wa sthe power of the Hundred Body cauldron.
A true rare gift in the cultivation world.
The fight was not yet over. Again and again, Arid attacked.
Every time that Eunid would defend against his attacks, he would be left more shocked than the last. After all, Arid knew he was far stronger now than ever before.
It frustrated him, which in turn fed his anger, which in turn fed the rune, which in turned into his body therefore increasing his power.
It was so much that even Eunid with the refined techniques that he used could not hold back the power.
At such a time, he heard Nora’s voice, “I’m ready!”
Immediately, Eunid threw his lance at Arid and then taking advantage of the opportunity that Arid used to defend against the attack, he grabbed him by the arms.
Arid was surprised by this, but he still smirked at Eunid, “giving up already!?” Both their hands shook as Arid, with the more superior strength was steadily bringing down his arms. The knife he held was slowly being pushed into Eunid’s chest.
“I Win, GENIUS!” Arid chuckled mockingly. “This time around, you die.”
However, Eunid also had a smile on his face, “NO! you don’t!”
On saying this, Arid heard a light scream come from behind him. He turned a bit.
To his surprise, Nora was running towards him, entirely covered by her own blood, and then she jumped on him, embracing him totally.
It was at this point that Arid noticed one of the Core beast scorpions behind her. However, it was too late.
The Scorpion stung with its double tails. Both of them, going through Nora’s body and into Arid’s.
The poison spread into both their bodies.
Taking the opportunity, Eunid removed the knife from Arid’s hand, turned it and pierced his neck….
