Chapter 590: Manu Has Plans
The hall ways of the Palace echoed with the excitement of sensual pleasures as Manu Madayaki had his fun.

This lasted for a couple of hours, before the castle suddenly dropped in silence, its residence resuming the state of mourning for their previous king and a recognition of the new power at play. 5458

Manu stood up from the bed. He looked down at the figure of Emma, wrapped roughly in the sheets, deep in slumber from tiredness. He raised his hand, and it glowed with his power.

She had been used, and he was willing to dispose of her. However, his eyes traced the parts of her body that were exposed to him. Even in this used state, she was still a delicacy. And he could feel his member reacting to the desire his eyes fed it.

He dropped his hand. She was still useful.

He walked over to the next room, still in his nude. He poured out some wine for himself, and after enjoying the sting down his throat, he sat on the counch not far off.

He waved his hand and a huge screen appeared. This was the fate change system. “Beautiful,” he complimented.

Just then, he heard a voice, “what are you doing? That is mine.”

He turned to the voice. It had come from deep within his body. In his consciousness, in chains made out of ever moving serpents that glowed with runes. There he was. Chiron.

He was a complete mess, an exact mirror to the man that stood before him. The only difference being their eyes. Even Manu’s soulk had taken his form, in order to fit the body.

“Yours?” Manu took a step forward, “I think you mean mine.” he smirked. “I have combed through your memories. An outside, from a world that kicked you to the side, and then your climb to the top. If it was back in my day, I would have taken you under my wing as a general. Truly, you are an incredible treasure.” He walked over to Chiron, grabbing Chion’s face with his long sharp fingers. “But you see, I also know that you would have refused the offer.

You see, you have been working so hard for so long that you could not even see the potential for the biggest blessing that had been granted to you. The best part is that, it is not out there, but in here, and YOUR sick ambition could not recognize it.”

“What Do you mean?” Chiron asked with a focused look. “Emma!?”

Manu chuckled at the guess, “Oh, the succubus was a delicacy, its a shame you never tasted the flavor, but at the same time, I do understand your reason…. However, I am referring to that.” He pointed at the screen representing the Fate change system.

“You have had it for so long, but you lack the means to use such an incredible gift to its fullest potential.”

Manu walked around in the void of their shared consciousness as he flared his hands in his conversation.

“You know, when I was up there, in the world of gods, a demi god, there were rumors about it. After all, Fate And Luck are gods of the highest tier. Twin sisters whose rivalry has gone on for hundreds of thousands of years.

Their constant squabbles were so chaotic that we were given the privilege to feel the impact. And truly, there were rumors in those days. You know, rumors that Luck had found away to syphon her sister’s power and use it against her.

Of course, back then, we all thought it was possible. You might not know this, but gods are very delicate in their element and the representation of it. Touching what belongs to another god, different from one’s nature was akin to drinking the most lethal poisons. This is the same thing for all the others too.

But who could have thought that it was true. I mean just look at this beauty.” He waved his hands, going through the different parts of the Fate Change System.

“You know, you are truly a fool. With this tool alone, you should have long climbed your power to at least the silver rank. But you didn’t.”

“I have my reasons.” Chiron stated clearly.

“Of course, your fear is that ‘it is all a trap, and can be taken just as much as it was given.’ And I do agree. That is a possibility, but your hunger for power is not as profound and impatient as mine. I’ll use your…NO! My Change Fate system and climb the ladders of power both in this world and the world of gods.” He Laughed heartily, and then he turned slightly to Chiron, “If you are really that tough willed, you might actually see it happen.” His gaze looked at certain parts of Chiron.

Those parts like his fingers and toes had began to disintegrate slowly. This was evidence that he was fading out of existence. Of course the reason for this was because of Manu’s presence.

Once Chiron had completely faded, he would be no more, and Manu would fully occupy this body like he was born with it.

However, Chiron could not get out of this binds even if he wanted to.

At most, he was given the privilege to sit or kneel, but that was it.

He was absolutely useless in this place, and he also looked the part.

Manu took one last look at him and then turned to the Fate Change system. He waved his hands, and a dashboard appeared showing that Chiron had Spiritual energy and Aura energy flowing through his body.

Manu nodded as he observed these, “magnificent, truly magnificent. You have been busy. Managing to carry two energy Dantains in one body. And now, with the magic bounds from my soul, there is a third one. Even the gods will be jealous.”

At such a time, he looked at a certain column under each tag and it made Manu frown a bit…
