Chapter 592: Manu’s Ambition

Making Even Chiron look on in surprise. “What the Fuck is all that?”

“This?” Manu spoke with glee and confidence. “This is… my future. The initial formulae, I created based on the scale patterns on my father’s skin. Although not perfect, but in the mortal world, even the touch of a god is enlightening.”

Manu continued his explanation, stating that when he had been relegated to the mortal world all those thousands of years ago, this was the formulae that he had been working on.

However, things had not been easy for him. the reason being that he had to do a lot of tests, trials and errors, which in turn costed him millions of human lives that had to be wasted.

This could not be helped because of the errors in the formulae.

Fortunately, materials like spirit plants and elixirs were plentiful back then. but he was still never able to perfect it before he died.

The boundary one had to cross from Demi God to true Godhood was not an easy one. Manu Madayaki had long sort to use the forceful approach, using souls and herbs to make the path smoother for him.

However, back then he had failed and had been punished for tampering with mortal lives by the laws of heavens.

Now, he was far lower than the strength of power that he had previously achieved. But with this, the formulae perfected, he could actually attempt reaching his previous power rank and even break through, right into the realm of the gods.

This was his greatest desire. This was his will. After all, he had scores that he needed to settle up there.

Chiron gazed at this formulae that moved as if the symbols had a life of their own.

It was going to be a formation. But not just a formation, a grand formation that would cut across the entire continent.

It now made sense that he would order that the Vandoria kingdom to subjugate the entire continent.

This was his goal. After all, he would be entering territories that belonged to tribes, clans and other countries.

Without a doubt, this could be problematic for him, but if it was all under one empire then no one would be against whatever he wanted to do.

Of course, this formation would be done claiming that it was for the betterment of the continent.

Even now, Chiron could guess how he was going to do it. After all, that was going to be the really easy part.

This continent had seen violence and war far too long, and the cause of this has been those from beyond the veil that have carved the normal world like a huge cake.

Chiron instantly knew that Manu was going to paint himself their savior even though he was the source of their end.

“They will not believe you!” Chiron spoke up.

Manu raised a brow at him, “Come on Chiron, even you do not believe those words. Your ability to comprehend mortal behavior and their search for a better life, especially when a power ruler comes with a tongue laced with honey, is something even the heavens should admire. And that knowledge, all of it that you are so proud of, your arsenal,” Manu spoke with conviction in his words, “—They are now my instrument.”

Chiron frowned at this, and he jerked forward as if attempting to punch Manu in the face, but obviously failed.

“Nice try Chiron, I know you do not care about this people. The Boy willing to even sacrifice his mother’s damned soul and his entire clan for power. You and I were cut from the same cloth. the anger you feel now is just jealousy. You wished you were the one doing it. You wished that you were in my position enjoying all this power.” Manu raised his hands to the sky, as if in praise of his own glory.

“But you forget one thing!” Chiron added. “It has been thousands of years since your rule. The lot of the materials you need for your formation cannot even be gotten on this continent. It has been pillaged by the round table and even if, there would not be of quality.”

“Hmmm! that much is true. Especially that Damned Holy church. However—” Manu suddenly cracked a smile, “— I don’t need to go get it. Because they will bring it to me themselves.”

Chiron was in obvious confusion of what Manu was saying.

However, at such a time, oppressive presence could be felt mounting upon the palace.

“AHHH!!! you see, they are already here.” Manu chuckled as he turned to leave. “I have guests to entertain, later my good friend.”

Manu left the consciousness space and back to reality. and just in time too.

Elder Baldie was waiting for him out front. Manu walked out of his inner chambers and immediately, the elder rushed over to him, “My lord, you have very important guests.” As he spoke sweat visible fell from his forehead.

“Oh, I am aware, but I am not in the mood to meet them just yet.” Manu had a confident smile playing on his face, “Have them wait a bit, I am yet to clean myself.” he turned around, “and Oh, have the maids prepare a warm bath for me.”

Elder baldie was left frozen in shock. After all, those waiting for Manu could literally flaten the entire Palace with a swing of their hand.

They has not been a king since the founding of Vandorai that has had such guests pay a visit.

And yet, on the first day, these individuals that ruled the world had made their appearance.

In truth, Elder Baldie was very scared to go report Manu’s words to the guests, but in this matter, he was without the option of choice.

Manu would not proceed from his chambers again until another two hours. And he did so barely dressed with a long bath towel around his waist while he ate from a fruit basket as he swaggered into the throne room.
