Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 621
Chapter 621: Dragon Den
Manu’s craft settled gracefully to the ground, as the dragons flew above, not so far and yet not too close to him.
If it had been any other person, he would have been shot from the sky by a barrage of spiritual energies, but the dragon that had kept guard of the veil entrance had given out the announcement that the man that had visited was none other than the latest Gold Rank cultivator.
Besides, this one had a history that was as old as the oldest of dragon bones in this place. After all, Manu Madayaki was once a man that could contend for ruler of the world with the demon king of ten thousand years ago.
As Manu looked at the place, it brought memories to him. it brought very -fond memories to him.
Just then, a huge earth dragon that had skin entirely made of metal landed in front of him. The sheer size and width of this dragon was like a huge human palace. But what was most catchy about the dragon was not even its form, size or scary demeanor, it was the core at the center of its chest.
After all, this was a violet core beast. The highest in the world below the veil was the red core beast, and tribes and clans could cause whole wars for their parts. After all, they were equivalent to bronze rank warriors, of course much stronger, but still equivalent by rank.
However a violet core beast was practically a walking breathing treasure. maybe it was because Manu was now in Chiron’s body, but he could not help but imagine a multitude of things that he could dissect this dragon for. Every part of it was a treasure, a spiritual herb, ore could be grounded into an elixir, armor, and the uses were practically endless.
But in facing the dragon, Manu kept up a straight face.
The dragon breathed out some air, water vapor gliding in a rush towards manu.
This much, Manu did not stand for. He raised a hand, and instantly, the air that the dragon breathed back in seemed to choke it at the throat. It staggard a bit as its deep green eyes locked unto manu, its struggle was palpable.
And all the other dragons screeched or took a defensive stance for a fight. But then a loud roar reverberated through out the land.
It was so thick that the earth itself shook in response to it.
Instantly, all the Dragons, both those in the air and on land bowed their heads. A Dragon’s voice was heard from within the giant dead skull of an ancient dragon, “Manu Madayaki is our guest. You children will have respect.”
those words made the dragons back away. Manu chuckled a bit as he released his hold on the throat of the dragon that had come to display power to him.
The dragon breathed easy, and in relief as it moved to the side, but still looked at Manu with a fierce look as it went out of the way.
The Voice went out again, “please, come in.” The voice invited and Manu nodded as he clasped his hands behind his back and strolled in.
The ancient skull was so huge, if a human was born within, theyu would have almost thought that it was their world for the rest of their lives.
As Manu went deeper, his spiritual, aura and magic energy went through out the entire place, navigating the interior.
Of course this place was well lit, but the light glow came from the bones itself. The exterior absorbed light from the sun, and the interior gave a warm glow that lightened up the place.
On different parts of the interior, manu could see Dragon nests. Many were asleep but most were alert. After all, this was their sanctuary and an invader had visited.
Many of the Dragons were younglings. They hide behind their mothers and some even bared their teeth at Manu but were not so foolish as to come close to him.
Manu looked on as he recalled certain things about the dragons.
This place was indeed a santuary, but in truth, not all dragons were allowed into the palace skull. Nevertheless, all dragons were born here.
The Dragons of these world were very special. Dragons of Royal blood were the only ones that were capable of giving birth to their young.
other dragons were born from the Womb Tree. This was a place deep within the center of this Ancient dragon. Rumors had it that all other dragons were born from the cells of the first.
It reminded Manu of how in a colony of ants, the worker and soldier ants were incapable of reproduction, but the reproductives were. Except that this one was greatly more complicated than that.
Meaning that the young dragons that he saw hugging their mothers were all of the royal family.
Yet, at the same time, he noticed something else. A kind of perversion in the air. It certainly came from the bodies of dragons. But not from the royals…No, then again, the smell of it gave him immense joy. After all, it meant that his efforts back then, ten thousand years ago had not gone to waste.
It was the smell of poison… Poison that was greatly attached to his own bloodline.
After a few turns here and there, as if directed by an unseen hand, Manu madayaki reached what humans would call the throne room.

This place was much brighter than the rest. But it was not because of the shiny bones. rather it was because of the massive treasures scattered around the place.
There was gold, silver, and other precious stones, coins, and mirrors as far as the eyes could see.
Dragons were known to be a very prideful people, but there were also known to display that pride through their power and wealth.
This was the throne room, and the share amount of wealth in this place could crash the economies of nations for many years to come.
“I heard you have a cure….” the voice bellowed.
