Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 624
Chapter 624: Healing The Womb
As Manu walked deeper into the radiant chamber, he allowed his senses to sharpen. The beauty of the place was undeniable—the golden glow of the orbs, the hum of energy from the Mother Tree, and the sheer serenity of the space—but beneath it all, he felt it. A faint wrongness clung to the air, subtle but distinct.
He moved closer to one of the largest orbs, standing so near it that he looked like an insect in comparison. The dragon within twitched slightly, its translucent wings fluttering in its sleep. Manu placed a hand against the orb’s smooth surface, feeling the warmth and life pulsing within, but even then, the wrongness persisted.
The violet-core dragon shifted uncomfortably behind him, watching his every move. “What are you doing, outsider? The Mother Womb is not a place for idle meddling.” Her tone was sharp, but there was an edge of unease beneath it.
Manu didn’t respond. Instead, he stepped back, his eyes narrowing as they swept across the chamber. His gaze settled on the massive trunk of the Mother Tree, its grandeur filling the room. Yet, when he circled to the far side, the source of the disturbance revealed itself.
There it was.
The back of the Mother Tree, hidden from plain view, was a stark contrast to its radiant front. Poisoned, decaying tendrils twisted like grotesque veins up the trunk, their blackened tips burrowing into the very roots that fed the life-giving orbs. The faint glow from the infected area flickered weakly, tainted by the rot that consumed it.
Manu inhaled deeply. The air here was different, tinged with a faint, acrid stench of rot—a corruption that the vibrant glow of the chamber couldn’t mask. He turned to the violet-core dragon, his expression unreadable. “This, then, is the secret your Patriarch keeps so carefully hidden.”
The dragon’s tail lashed behind her, her eyes narrowing in warning. “You have no idea what you’re talking about, human.”
Manu’s lips curled into a knowing smirk. “Oh, but I do. You’ve tried to hide it, haven’t you? Cutting away the infected branches. But in doing so, you’re only hastening the Mother Womb’s death. A futile effort, and one that reeks of desperation.”
The dragon let out a low growl, her claws scraping against the stone floor. “You dare speak of things you do not understand. This is sacred ground! The Mother Womb sustains us all. Without it, there will be no dragons, no legacy—nothing.”
Manu tilted his head, his gaze piercing. “And yet, here it is—poisoned from the inside, infecting the very life it’s meant to nurture. How long do you think you can keep this hidden from the rest of your kind? How long before the disease spreads beyond your control?”
The dragon hissed, but then her shoulders sagged, and a reluctant admission slipped from her lips. “We’ve done everything we can. We’ve cut away the rot, severed branches to protect the whole. But… we are only killing it faster. If the Mother Womb dies, it will not just be a disaster—it will be our extinction.”
Manu stepped closer to the infected tendrils, studying them with a calm detachment. His fingers brushed the bark lightly, and a faint trace of energy responded, weak and corrupted. “You want me to cure this, don’t you? That’s why I was brought here. Your Patriarch didn’t ask for my help because he respects me; he asked because he has no other choice.”
The dragon’s violet eyes flared with anger, but she did not deny his words. “The Patriarch seeks a solution, yes. But you mock what you cannot comprehend, human. The Mother Womb is more than just a tree. It is the soul of our race. We do not ask lightly.”
Manu turned, his smirk returning. “And yet you ask, knowing full well that such miracles come with a price. Tell your Patriarch to prepare himself. If I cure this corruption, and i will, your kind will owe me far more than just your gratitude. And the draco Mortem.”
The dragon stared at him, her body tense, but she nodded grudgingly. “Do what you must, outsider. But know this—if you fail, it will not just be your life that is forfeit.”
Manu chuckled, his voice low and confident. “Failure isn’t in my nature. Watch closely, dragon. You might just learn something.”
Manu was very confident in what he was doing. His reason was a very simple one really.
It was because he was the one that poisoned it in the first place.
Back then ten thousand years ago, through difficult attempts again and again, he had eventually managed to get his saliva to the other womb Tree.
Now, it was time for harvest.
He suddenly removed his clothes, making a deep sickening cut on his chest.
His soul had become one with Chiron’s body. Meaning that this was now his body. Chiron’s body now carried his own essence as his previous body did.
With a sharp ripping out, he tore his chest open to reveal his beating heart.
The dragon watched this with a peculiar look in her eyes, both fascinated and shocked.
Little drops of blood fell to the ground, but manu neither spoke up nor groaned in pain.
He placed his hand into his chest, and pulled out his heart, and then he squeezed it, its bloody content, like squeezed orange pouring on the roots of the tree, and then he returned it to his chest.
The heart had stopped beating, but once returned, it immediately began to beat with life again.
And then the roots, watered with his heart blood immediately absorbed the contents.
It was a greedy swallow.

The content was quickly consumed and ygen a change began on the tree, the poisoned, rottening and decaying parts fell to the ground on their own, as if being purged.
And then new parts immediately replaced them on the tree.
The dragons in the orbs seemed to suddenly relax, their pain taken away.
The dragon observed this… “thats all… your heart blood is the cure?”
Manu nodded.
At such a time, the dragon suddenly pointed her tail at manu, its sharp edge towards his throat, “meaning if we keep you here, those that have hatched can also be healed… manu Madayaki, yoi might have just found your new…. permanent home. “
