Chapter 641: Master Chiron Is Back
The moment Manu Madayaki’s essence dissolved into nothingness, Chiron’s consciousness surged forward, reclaiming control of the now-vacant body. Manu’s golden serpent eyes dimmed and shifted back to dark, bottomless orbs—Chiron’s eyes.
Chiron blinked, rolling his shoulders as if settling into a familiar suit.
His gaze lifted to Dylan, who stood panting before him, a victorious grin spreading across his face. But that grin didn’t last.
With terrifying speed, Chiron’s fingers snapped around the hilt of the broken blade lodged in his chest. The metallic shards groaned under his grip as he wrenched the blade free and reversed its tip in a single, fluid motion.
“Dylan,” Chiron said softly, his tone carrying a dissonant warmth that chilled the air. “You’ve been… useful.”
Before Dylan could react, the broken blade shot forward, piercing through his jaw and exiting out the top of his head.
Dylan froze, his eyes wide with shock, his body trembling as blood poured in rivulets down the jagged metal. He tried to speak, but only gurgles escaped.
Chiron leaned closer, his lips curling into a cold smile. “But this is where your usefulness ends.”
With a sharp twist, Chiron drove the blade deeper, the sickening crunch of bone and flesh filling the air. Then, with one swift motion, he tore Dylan’s head apart, splitting it into two grotesque halves. Blood erupted like a geyser, splattering across the platform and streaking Chiron’s face.
Dylan’s lifeless body crumpled to the ground, the broken halves of his skull landing with a wet thud on either side. Chiron stood, breathing deeply as if savoring the air, his dark eyes gleaming with a triumphant glow.
He glanced down at the blood-soaked blade still in his hand. Pulling it from his chest, he watched as the wound stitched itself shut in moments, leaving no trace of the injury.
He admired the blade briefly before discarding it. “Hmmm,” he murmured, licking a drop of blood from his lips. “So this… this is the source of magical energy. Thank you for the gift, Manu Madayaki.”
A chuckle escaped his throat, low and menacing.
From across the platform, Emma sprinted toward him, her succubus form trembling with emotion.
Without hesitation, she threw herself into Chiron’s chest, her arms wrapping tightly around him. Tears streamed from her glowing eyes, staining her flushed cheeks as she buried her face into his shoulder.
“I missed you,” she sobbed, her voice trembling. “I missed you so much, Master. This plan… it took so long, and I—I couldn’t bear being apart from you…I don’t want such a plan again master.”
Chiron chuckled softly, his hand gently patting her head as one would a devoted pet. “You’ve done well, Emma,” he said, his voice soothing yet brimming with authority. “Very well.”
But his smile faded as his gaze shifted upward. The heavens above remained turbulent, the wrathful fire-figures still hovering in uncertainty. Sparks of electricity rippled across the darkened sky, and the fiery beasts roared in frustration, circling but refusing to descend.
Chiron frowned. He understood their hesitation. The tribulation wasn’t meant for him but for Manu. Yet the body standing on the platform carried the marks of Heaven’s judgment. The heavens, it seemed, were unsure whether to proceed.
“This isn’t over,” Chiron muttered to himself, his tone sharp.
He grabbed Emma’s shoulders firmly, locking eyes with her. “Where are your siblings?”
Emma quickly gestured to a swirling shadow pool nearby. From its depths emerged Carla and Hunter, their forms materializing like specters stepping into the light.
Carla, taller and fierce as ever, had her arms crossed, but her stoic facade crumbled the moment she saw Chiron. Her lips quivered, and tears brimmed in her eyes. “You’re back,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. “I—I thought we’d lost you… master.”
Chiron nodded, his eyes softening briefly as he acknowledged her emotions. “We don’t have time for reunions,” he said firmly, his gaze scanning the horizon.
He was right.
Before anyone could respond, multiple figures descended onto the platform. The sound of boots hitting stone echoed ominously as warriors and cultivators emerged from the surrounding chaos.
Their auras shimmered, powerful and oppressive. Many were gold-ranked, their mere presence heavy with authority, but among them stood several demigods whose ethereal energies clashed against the remnants of the tribulation.
And at their center was the Seer.
She stepped forward, her piercing gaze locked on Chiron. Her robes shimmered faintly, the intricate runes and symbols adorning them glowing faintly in the storm’s dim light.
Her expression was calm but dangerous, like the calm before a devastating storm.

“So,” she said, her voice smooth and cutting. “Chiron Chivalry. I don’t know how, but I know this has all been your plan. Every move, every step—it all leads back to you.” Her lips curled into a slight smirk. “To think you would not only kill Manu but rise to such power. If I had known…” She shook her head, her expression darkening. “I would have hunted you down myself when you were but a powerless runt.”
Chiron tilted his head, his dark eyes gleaming with amusement. “The Seer,” he said, his tone dripping with mock reverence. “I must say, your timing is impeccable. Right on cue, like a puppet responding to its master’s strings.”
The Seer’s eyes narrowed. “You’ve risen far, but even the mightiest fall, Chiron. Don’t mistake this moment for victory. The heavens themselves still judge you.”
Chiron laughed, the sound echoing across the platform. “The heavens? They hesitate because they don’t know what to do with me. But you, Seer… you seem certain. So tell me.” He spread his arms wide. “What’s your next move?”
Chiron’s gaze flicked to Emma, standing loyally by his side. The storm above raged on, the tension on the platform palpable as every figure present braced themselves, their eyes locked on the man who had defied heaven and killed Manu Madayaki.
Without hesitation, Chiron reached out and grabbed Emma by the wrist, pulling her closer to him. She gasped but didn’t resist as his free hand came up to his mouth. His sharp teeth bit into the flesh of his palm, and a small rivulet of blood welled up, dark and glistening in the storm’s flickering light.
Emma’s eyes widened in understanding. She didn’t flinch as Chiron smeared the blood across her forehead, tracing intricate, deliberate lines that almost seemed to glow with a faint crimson hue. Then, with deliberate slowness, he pressed his bloodied fingers to her lips.
“Drink,” Chiron commanded, his voice low and laced with authority.
Emma’s lips parted obediently, and she allowed the blood to enter her mouth. Her body shuddered for a moment, a faint glow radiating from her form as the connection reestablished itself. She closed her eyes, letting out a soft sigh of relief as she fell to her knees, bowing deeply before him.
“Master,” she whispered reverently. “I am yours once more.”
The Seer and the other cultivators watched in confusion, their faces tense and uncertain. None dared to act, but their unease was palpable.
Chiron received a subtle yet powerful notification within his mind—a sensation like the snap of a lock clicking into place. The contract was sealed; Emma was once again his slave, bound to him by blood and spirit.
He chuckled, his dark eyes gleaming as he looked down at her. “Good girl,” he murmured, his voice almost tender.
Straightening, he turned his attention back to the Seer and her entourage. Their expressions ranged from wariness to outright shock, but none of them fully understood what had just transpired.
The Seer’s gaze narrowed. “What… did you just do?” she demanded, her voice sharp.
Chiron smirked, wiping the blood from his hand onto his tunic as if nothing had happened. He gestured toward Emma, who remained kneeling at his feet. “Just reclaiming what’s mine,” he said smoothly, his tone carrying an edge of menace. His smile widened, revealing teeth stained faintly red. “After all, I can’t have loose ends running around when the real game is about to begin.”
The Seer’s lips pressed into a thin line, but she said nothing, her sharp eyes studying him closely.
Chiron glanced back at the roiling storm above, his smirk unfaltering. “Now,” he said, his voice carrying across the platform, “let’s see if the heavens are brave enough to strike me down—or if they’ll simply bow like everything else.”
He raised his arm to the sky….
