Chapter 655: The Genius Of Chiron Comes With Difficulties
Emma spoke softly, her voice carrying a tinge of unease as she began. “The world is vast, Master, and much has changed while you rested. The other continent, Ash and Stone, is in turmoil. The council that ruled the mountains of ash—those demi-gods who governed with iron fists—has been declared missing. Civil war has already erupted across the land.”

Chiron’s brow furrowed slightly as he listened, memories of the vastness of this world surfacing. He had always known this place was far greater than the Earth he once called home. This world, sprawling and untamed, was many times larger, filled with dangers that dwarfed anything he had encountered in his previous life.

Emma continued, her expression grim. “Manu Madayaki fought them before his confrontation with you. He eliminated most of the council, if not all. If any managed to survive, they would be gravely wounded. The continent of Ash and Stone is now left in chaos, ruled only by beasts believed to be extensions of the Zodiac families.”

Chiron tilted his head at this, a faint smirk curling his lips. “Believed?”

Emma nodded. “They hide under the Zodiac family’s banner, but the truth is different. Now, with the Zodiac families busy cleaning their own mess, these lands are entirely on their own.”

She hesitated before adding, “The same is true for the High Forest of Bleeding Cries. Chaos reigns there as well, with no rulers to maintain order.”

Chiron listened intently, his sharp mind piecing together the larger picture. Then he asked, “And what of the depths? What lies beneath the sea, in the Azure Abyss?”

Emma shook her head slightly, her uncertainty clear. “I do not know, Master. Knowledge of that kingdom has always been safely hidden. Whatever happens there, it remains beyond our grasp.”

Chiron hummed in thought but let the topic drop. Instead, Emma brought up something more pressing. “Master, have you noticed? Since your battle with the gold rankers and demi-gods, the energy in the air has changed. It’s heavier—thicker. Many regions have experienced days of dense fog and high humidity.”

A knowing smile stretched across Chiron’s face. “Of course. That’s because countless high-ranked cultivators died in that fight. Their energy is being redistributed back into the world.”

He chuckled softly, the sound carrying a mixture of amusement and satisfaction. Emma, curious but respectful, asked, “What’s so amusing, Master?”

Chiron turned to her, his eyes glinting with a dangerous kind of mirth. “It’s all part of my plan, Emma. Chaos is spreading across the world, and chaos,” he paused, the grin widening, “provides the best opportunities for growth.”

Emma furrowed her brows slightly, shaking her head in confusion. “But Master,” she said cautiously, “wasn’t this chance an opportunity for you to ascend into godhood? Why let it slip away?”

At this, Chiron laughed, a wild and confident sound that filled the air. “You don’t understand,” he said, his tone almost mocking but still carrying a teacher’s patience. “When I was devising the plan against Manu, I remembered the hidden wall—the one with the legends of the Serpent God King. I saw the altar built before Manu was imprisoned. There’s no doubt in my mind. Manu would do it again.”

Emma’s confusion deepened, but she listened intently as Chiron’s voice dropped slightly, becoming more intense. “Times have changed, and I knew that the other demi-gods will come to stop him. But Manu is powerful enough to defend himself and eliminate them. That’s exactly what I wanted.”

He stepped closer, a gleam of anticipation in his eyes. “They’ll all come, Emma. They’ll all fall. And when the dust settles, only emptiness will remain.”

Emma stared at him in silence, her mind spinning with the weight of his words. Chiron knew that explaining further will not help. his mind moved in ways she did not understand.

With the current chaos in the world, he was sure that Seer would want to hurry up and put things under control so that she could use the opportunity to spread her wings to the other regions.

This would naturally be the same plan of the other zodiac families, but such was their undoing. the only way one would truly rip benefits was if they deceided to let go of their pride first and give up the fight. But no, power was the birth of pride.

Meaning that they were providing land that allowed him chance to truly grow. Become a Demigod or a god? Right now?

Hell No, that was not Chiron’s plan. As it was chiron had already eaten his cake and had it. Firstly, he now had a new form of energy and that was Magic energy as it was the power source that Manu used. Meaning that he now used, Aura, spirit and magic.

If the rest of the world knew about this, generational wars could be fought just to know the secrets on his body. In a fight, Chiron had more options and more capabilities than any other person.

He had also inherited the memories that manu had, whether it be of this world or the one beyond which came with a lot of secrets.

Thousands of years of knowledge and capability was no joking matter. This was a really bountiful harvest. But that was not all.

Now, all three of his dantain were at the Silver rank. To be more specific, magic dantain was at the peak silver and aura and spirit were at the fifth rank.

Meaning that he had essentially moved from the beginning of bronze all the way to the peak of silver in just five years. Of course such improvement might not be too impressive to those that live beyond the veil as they were in rich supply of geniuses and resources. But when added the fact that chiron was not yet awakened, had three dantains to grow, and did it all with no use for resources, he suddenly became a walking breathing abnormality that defies the norm and the heavens themselves.

All he had done was take steps back, and then used his own weakness, converting them to strengths. then again, with growth came certain difficulties…
