Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 687
Chapter 687: Asura’s Plan 2
Asura, one of the geniuses of her generation.
She was the flower of the Patience family of the virtues family of the Holy Church.
She was an incredible beauty. Taller than most with full chest to which she enjoyed a partial display.
As a result of the mature of her family, she was considered to be really dangerous. Of course, what she was capable of was only known by a few people one could count on one hand.
According to Chiron’s memory of the book, none would truly know how terrifying a person she was until towards the end of the war.
If course that war had been brought much closer and the cause of it was entirely different.
The Seer not so far from her spoke up, “Your plan seemed to have worked. Unfortunately, such a petty trick was not enough to kill Barak. In fact, I have much doubt that it grazed his skin… There is also the fact that he is not so dumb enough to think that the demon mother was the reason for the trap. Surely, he knows it was the holy church…”
Asura nodded, “yes, but he can not be so sure. After all, there is no evidence that states that the demon mother might not have done it.”
The Seer’s eyes brightened in realization. “Killing him was never the plan, was it?”
Asura shook her head, “It wasn’t.” She stood up from the chair as she strolled about a bit, with two smaller fruits dancing in between her fingers. “We are killing two birds with one stone.”
The Seer understood that Asura was right. The first ‘bird’ was the now suspicion that had been planted in Baraks heart.
Even though he was sure the assassination attempt was not from the demons, he would suspect them and might even break up relations with them.
The Seer might not have succeeded in killing Barak, but she had definitely succeeded in ensuring that her enemies did not become friends.
Secondly, ever since the Seer got her hands on Dona, she had not been able to remove the seal that Manu placed on his heart.
This seal was unusually more complicated than even what she knew Manu was capable of.
What she did not know was that Manu had improved the seal thanks to the fate change system that he had access to when he had Chiron’s body.
Since she could not remove it, she did not mind borrowing the hand of her enemy, Barak, to solve the problem.
As of how to get back Nora, she already had plans in place.
The Seer nodded at Asura. This entire thing had been this Geniuses idea.
From requesting the demon daughter, knowing her ability to the one she would target.
Asura knew it all.
In every war, information was key. If this was true, then Asura was a walking vault of jiggling keys.
“I have aided you with your problem. Just like i said, i would. Woukd you now do that thing for me…?”
The Seer massaged her jaw a bit either one finger. As if contemplating.
Asura suddenly spoke up, “You know, i do know that according to your calculations, it is not yet time.”
The Seer raised a brow at her, but Asura continued to explain.
She stated that the decline of the Diligence Family for the past years had not been normal. It was a forced process that was initiated by the Seer herself.
It was popular knowledge that the Seer was old.
At least twenty thousand years old. But next to known know how she had managed the virtues families for so long.
The Seer had long figured out that at a certain stage of power, the virtue families as a result of their unique virtued nature become satisfied and contented with their growth and power.

They begin to lack ambition and, in some cases, in the past, had even suggested peace with the Zodiac families and the Nether realm.
However, peace in any time was a weakening factor. While war and fierce competition brought about the birth of growth and innovation.
If Chiron had heard these words, he might have actually agreed with the Seer. After all, it was the same thing in his former world. Wars and conflicts pushed economies.
Even the Internet, one of the greatest inventions of Chiron’s former world , was a result of the second world war.
Even the journey to space was a result of competition of nations.
The Seer could see that the Zodiac families as a result of their natural differences and unique natures always grew. Whether it was in fighting patterns, innovation, technological development, or even power growth.
But the Virtues lacked this insatiable drive for perfection.
This was the innate problem of becoming a virtue.
She had to solve it, or else, it would become a future weak point.
And so she created artificial competition amongst the virtues families.
It was not hard, really, and the Diligence family had not been the first or second.
Every few hundred years, she came up with a new way to suppress one of the families, such that their existence is threatened and they have to strive and struggle for more.
That struggle usually squeezed out potential that would give birth to a burst of incredible growth.
This was growth that would spread out across all the families, improving their strength through competition.
The fire of one family woukd spread across, creating the chain effect of growth in all.
These meant that even the issue of the Diligence fire, dying out was artificially created.
But of course, there was more to the story. More that had gone out of the Seer’s control and even Asura might not be aware of.
But that was issue for another time.
Right now, Asura was giving an indirect threat. Stating that she knew the mechanics of the growth of the virtues families.
The Seer sighed, “and what makes you so sure that i dont just end your life now to ensure that this information does not get out?”
