Re: In My Bloody Hit Novel - Chapter 689
Chapter 689: List Of Chores
…Even the taste of the fruit from the Faiths of the Orcs tasted a bit soar. Although it still added to his power, it was really bad going down. In fact, it gave him an overall sick feeling.
Chiron had to make a mental note to himself that he was going to be using humans next time.
Then again, his experiment had reached its peak.
It was really incredible what Faith could do. Watching the actions of the orcs let him understand why great dictators and warlords in the history of his former world, had used religion as the foundation of many wars.
The amount of wars in the former world’s history that had been tagged as Holy wars were uncountable.
Impressively enough, the smaller tribes were able to withstand the force of the three major tribes. And during this war time was when he generated the greatest harvest.
There was just something about the border of death that made people give themselves to a higher power of belief. This was most true if they had seen miracles and had brushed with death several times.
However, the chasm of power that the Major tribes had could not be so easily overcomed, and in the end, although two of the major orc tribes were defeated, all the smaller orc tribes lost.
there were several times within the wars that he had even changed the chiefs of the tribes with a fake using his blood curse ability. This ensured the that morale was constant through battles.
Chiron did not care if either side won. He was only willing to understand this new ability that he now had.
There was more.
During the experiments, he realized that it was possible to observe the activities of believers that had turned into a red fruit in his Faith garden. It was more like a god looking at their faithful servants.
Chiron made records of it all, and in this manner, the experiment on Faith came to an end.
Those that survived were forcefully united into one tribe. Those that did not were fed to the Bloodlust. Chiron had found that D3 maintained a huge harvest of them.
In a time of war and violence, they could serve as good cannon fodder.
Chiron stood to observe his faith farm. there was a lot more work to be done.
He had a feeling that if he was able to have a lot of faithful followers, he would be able to unlock even more benefits with faith.
The thought of this was very exciting. If the Other Demi gods were to discover that he had such an advantage on them, they would definitely vomit blood in absolute envy.
After all, harvesting faith was something that only the gods had priviledge to.
Now, Chiron went back to the drawing board.
firstly, He had barely three months remaining in this Forbidden Cardinal zone before the Heaven tribulation would hit.
He needed to make plans for that. For now, he had slowed the time in the space to become even slower than ever.
This would buy him temporary time. Even though he had faced heaven tribulations before, he had done so with incredible cheats at the time.
Unless he was going to reenact Manu Madayaki’s pillar formation in this place, and even Chiron had to admit that he would be needing resources for that to happen.
Manu’s pillars had been a combined effort of the entire continent, and then the help of the Zodiac families and even the only church.
As he was, he was not ready for that. Now that he thought of it, he was greatly lacking in resources, and he believed himself to be quite rich from the harvest he had gotten from the Demi gods and gold rankers he had fought.
Then again, those old men and women did not carry treasures on their person. They mostly hide their treasures, sometimes even from their own clans and offspring. Power was a personal achievement.
If only he had a way to make those dead men speak, a lot of his problems would be solved right now.
Unfortunately, he did not. The last time he had been able to talk to talk to the dead was his Dead mother. And that had happened as a result of certain conditions, one of them being blood connection.
For others, it was much more complicated.

That method would have to be canceled out of the books.
Luckily, he had an item. One that he had not used till now. The same item that Manu Madayaki had gone to the Highlands to search for. The same one he had hidden within Emma’s body all this time.
The guardian Totem.
The name of this elegantly made box with dragon symbols and aura colors on it, was not just for its beauty.
After inheriting Manu’s memories, Chiron knew the reason for the existence of this box.
As far as those in power were concerned, each continent had one.
But Chiron knew better. The Guardian totems were more and only visible depending on the gods they were connected to.
Yes. These devices were used as a kind of atenna for the gods to be able to connect with their mortal worshippers.
It was for this reason that Chiron was able to see the seven aura gods the moment he touched upon it the very first time. He had obstructed that connection and come face to face with them.
Not all Guardian Totems were as rich in power as that of the Aura gods.
Their totem was even able to become a Vein of immense power within the earth. one that controlled the entire climate and living atmosphere of the highlands.
Of course, Even if certain Demi gods knew of the existence of these devices, they would not dare to take it for themselves for fear of offending a god. Such god could make their existences feel like hell, if not on earth, then when they equally became gods.
But that did not mean that they would just let them be. After all, it was possible to siphone just a bit of that power for themselves.
It was by this means that a lot of demi gods survived in a world that had thinned out when it came to energies that could sustain their power.
Yes. They were parasites, feeding on the power of other gods. Of course, this came with a huge advantage to power, but also came with the disadvantage of the demi god being pulled into the power element of the god.
In the worse case scenario, the demi god might fall under that god’s domain, and even when they become gods, have no choice but to sustain themselves on the scraps of that god.
Basically, it was not advisable. But Such knowledge was not offered to most demi gods and even if it was, many of them would not care.
Power was power. Ever seductive it was. those that were hungry for it had little choice.
Manu had gone after this guardian Token, not because he wanted a bit of the power, but rather, he had wanted everything it had to offer.
Manu did not care about offending the aura gods.
The reason for this was because his father was a god himself, and not one to be taken lightly at that. Manu did not mind offending the Aura gods because of his backer.
Even though his father had punished him in this mortal world, no aura god would be stupid enough to come after him as they feared Madayaki the Great Serpent.
Also, Manu could use the Fate change system and convert the energy that the guardian totem could offer to suite his needs.
Chiron now had this privilege too. And of course, he was not afraid of the aura gods. he had already challenged them.
The only problem was that this Guardian totem had a lot of power, and he would rather use it has boost when he was going for the god realm, instead of wasting it to preserve a common Forbidden Cardinal zone.
The waste would be a heart break to him.
Of course, if he had no choice, he would use it. But right now, he still had time. He was going to hunt for guardian tokens that could help protect his Cardinal forbidden zone.
Chiron massaged his brows as he made the list of things he had to do.
1. Firstly, he had to get Guardian tokens. The more the better.
2. Secondly, he had to spread the faith of his religion in the Mainlands. This way, he could gain more sex
3. Thirdly, he needed to conquer other Cardinal forbidden zones of different Sins. He had one at the moment and needed six more.
4. Fourthly, he needed to take the treasures that were helpful to the Mc of the book. He would be needing those. And If possible, other treasures as well.
5. Fifthly, he did not mind getting back his dragon. Even from here, he could feel its suffering, and in his books, it was still very useful.
6. Sixthly, his current followers were great, but if he could get those chosen by heaven to help the Mc of his book, his chances of success would be over the roof.
7. And Lastly, he needed to do all these things while on the run from the Holy Church…
