Chapter 690: Growing The Servants
Meanwhile, during this time, Carla had already recovered. Of course, a big reason for this was because she was fed with a lot of blood. Chiron had ensured this.
However, because the blood quality was quite low, her overall growth was next to known.
Carla had already made significant achievements. She had moved from a Lesser Demon to a Mid demon rank 12. This was a rank that was equivalent to the peak of a Silver rank cultivator. Lesser demon ranks 1 to 9 represented lower cultivation from Wood to Copper rank.
Mid Demon was achieved the moment one touched upon the Bronze equivalent rank. Truly, Manu’s pillars had done wonderous for her growth.
The skills she had acquired were also incredible. After checking her stats, Chiron could see how her future growth would occur. And the System helped him predict it as such. It was one of two things. It was either she continued on this part and became a War Demon, or she continued and became a Blood Demon.
These were special classes of demons. In truth, she was supposed to have long taken a path of growth, but such a decision was not hers to make but Chiron’s. All his Servants had to grow in a manner that most benefitted him.
Unfortunately, Chiron had been busy all this time, fighting for his life or scheming for more benefits.
However, now, he could help her navigate her growth.
If she became a war demon, it would not be bad. In fact, with her berserker skill, she might even be able to take on thousands of the enemy forces on her own.
However, Carla was an attacker, and her major weapons of use were the claws. Which meant that her defense was quite terrible.
If she was met with an enemy that was patient enough to observe and attack, she could suffer incredible damage.
And even Chiron knew that he could not forever hold her back from such a battlefield of experts with incredible smarts.
If only she was a war demon that specialized in more tank manevers. But If that were to be the case, her attacking power would suffer.
One had to sacrifice one for the other.
There was no choice in this matter.
But If she became a blood Demon, she would still maintain strong attacking power, but her stamina would be greatly affected.
If her enemies were smart, they could even see through her blood defense. But then again, it would align with the path of power he had decided to take.
After all, Chiron had already chosen expertise in blood for his ascension to Godhood.
Carla was even able to help heal his body because of her control of blood.
Chiron massaged his jaws in contemplation. As far as he was concerned, there was never a straight line to solving a problem.
And in this world, if he played his cards right, he might even be able to cheat his way through.
That’s right. Chiron was thinking of a way to merge the advantages of both power growth.
This was something even the Demon mother was not capable of doing. After all, it was like trying to mate a lion with a Tiger. both were still cats but entirely different species. It was nearly impossible. But nearly did not mean with the right skill and gifts, it was not possible.
And Chiron had the gifts of the Fate Change System. Of course he knew that he would be sacrificing a lot of his Faith Points. But he did not mind. If he could not spend for his own in other to protect his future, then he would be a very big fool.
And so for this, he invested a significant amount of faith points into her growth and evolution.
He could not help but chuckle in his mind when he thought about the look that would plaster the faces of demons when They face carla in battle.
After that, Chiron set out equipment and even Some weapons he had stolen from Demi gods that he had killed. Just her strengths would not be enough for future battles.
After that was done, he turned his attention to Hunter.
These beast’s evolution was guided by mother nature itself. Firstly, Hunter had cooked within the fate system when it was an egg. On hatching, it was already destined to break out of the chains that restricted its kind, and it did.
What’s more, its intelligence level was incredibly high. from a young age, Chiron could already give it commands and it would know what to do.

But now, the beast was capable of human speech. Of course, because of its nature, since birth, it was not a talkative, but it still Chiron had heard it converse with his other servants and occasionally, it responded with master to him.
It was easy to just see Hunter as a core beast and use it as a mount for life. But No… Chiron had other plans. In this world, they were terrifying core beasts, many of them of great legends, and Chiron was going to put his core beast on that list.
But it was not in power alone that he wanted the beast to grow. After all, power would come as it continued to evolve. But what made humans really stand out from core beasts and always tame and defeat them was wisdom and knowledge.
Basically, Chiron planned for his Core beast to study. This way, it could learn battle formations, weaknesses in attacks, how to properly defend itself, an effective way to set traps, and even manipulation.
Also, they was a part that would be very easy for this core beast to grow, and that was the path of Alchemy.
Of Course, Chiron had little knowledge in this field. Even the main protagonist of his book barely dabbled in it.
And there was only so much the books Chiron could provide would help with. Chiron himself would love to learn this, but unfortunately, that place had rules about humans.
For this reason, Chiron had to invest a great amount of faith points into his core beast’s intelligence. In fact, a third of his acquired faith points went into this.
Next, he exchanged for a mountain of books from the System on Alchemy and dropped them before Hunter.
“I give you a week.”
Such a task was impossible for a normal man. But Hunter only bowed, “Yes Master!”
Chiron smiled at this. “When You are done, let me know the ingredients you would be needing for practice. I have already created a special place for you.”
After that, he turned and walked away.
Instantly, Hunter began his diligent education.
After this, Chiron went into his room and sat in a cultivating position. But no sooner had he began meditating did he feel an embrace from behind. her fingers dancing on his neck and down his chest.
“It seems you have forgotten about me, master!” Emma spoke courtishly. “You gave Carla such incredible benefits to her growth and then you even blessed Hunter, but you have forgotten all about me. You don’t love me anymore master? You don’t want me? I’m I not working hard enough to please you?”
Chiron opened his eyes and turned to her. Even though she was being touchy touchy with him, she looked as if tears would fall from her eyes. Her lips were pouting and over all, her look was one of a woman that was in need of a masculine protector.
Such a treasure should not be harmed nor know want or tears.
However, Chiron’s gaze was ever as cold as they were. “You have really gotten better. Emotional manipulation and Gaslighting… does it always work?”
Emma suddenly frowned and then she giggled lightly. Even her laugh was charming.
“Of course… Not everyone is a freak like you master. It always works.” Emma responded cheerfully. Incredible enough, those eyes that looked like they were about to tear only a second ago, now look like a cat attempting to stalk prey.
She walked over to kneel before him.
Emma never used perfumes, her skin gave a natural odor that made heads turn whenever she walked by.
To make matters worse, her clothes were light and always a button away from revealing all her goodness beneath.
Even as she came before him, her carven deep cleavage stared at him in invitation, and every sway of her body, though not intentionally, was a work of constant invitation.
Yet, Chiron’s expression was as simple as ever.
Chiron observed her a bit, and then he suddenly moved. His fingers were fast, and a blade was before her throat. However, just before it would reach her neck, it stopped.
It was not Chiron that had intentionally stopped the blade, but an unknown force preventing him from progressing even further.
She looked at the blade and cold sweet ran down her forehead.
“And you tell me you need help too, when you have not been idle these last five years that you have been without me.”
