Real Heiress: Flash Marriage With Boyfriend's Uncle - Chapter 180
Chapter 180: More of his touch Chapter 180: More of his touch “I thought I might not get the chance to meet you, so I asked you to come here.
I hope it wasn’t inconvenient,” Lucius remarked.
He leaned forward, carefully placing his glasses on the table.
Layla had quietly excused herself a moment earlier to oversee the dinner preparations.
“It wasn’t a problem, Boss,” Zayne replied promptly.
“Fred’s phone was sent for forensic analysis, but strangely, it was completely wiped.
All the contents had been erased before we got to it.” Lucius didn’t show much of his reaction because he had expected that only.
“Did you uncover anything unusual at the scene?” he asked with curiosity.
“Not much, Boss.
However,” Zayne added, pausing momentarily for emphasis, “a handwritten note was discovered nearby.” Reaching into his pocket, he retrieved his phone and unlocked the screen.
He extended it towards Lucius, who looked at it.
The more was crumpled before it was thrown to the ground.
“Meet me at the river junction,” Lucius read and furrowed his brows together.
“We analysed this handwriting as well, but it didn’t match our database,” Zayne affirmed.
“That means the killer isn’t from here,” Lucius proclaimed and frowned, returning Zayne’s phone to him.
“Yes,” Zayne responded.
“Roger told me how Boss is planning to go to Russia.
I believe that you should stop for now,” he added.
“Hmm.” Lucius didn’t say much as he leaned back on the couch.
Layla arrived in the living room, telling Zayne to have dinner before heading home.
“Ah, thank you, but I’ve to immediately leave for my night duty,” Zayne refused politely.
“Oh.
Then, I won’t stop you,” Layla stated.
“Thanks for being understanding.” Zayne rose to his feet, ready to leave.
He glanced at Lucius for the last time before leaving their sight.
“I didn’t know you were a friend with a cop.
Are you going to give me surprises like that all the time?” Layla complained.
“He’s not a friend,” Lucius replied, rising his head to look at her.
“Then, what is he?” she asked, squinting her eyes and crossing her arms across her chest.
“A police officer,” Lucius replied in amusement.

“Really, Lucius?” She dropped her arms to her side.
Her eyes fell on the glasses on the table.
“By the way, you look nice in those glasses?
Are those reading glasses?
I never saw you in them before and that look of yours kind of surprised me,” she muttered.
Out of habit, she bit her bottom lip and again met his gaze.
Lucius left his seat while carrying the glasses.
He fixed them on his eyes and slid his hands into his pockets.
“Yeah, I use them for reading sometimes.
But I intend to forget to use them most of the time,” he stated.
Earlier, he hadn’t noticed that reaction from Layla, but now he did.
Layla was captivated by his current looks.
The way she was staring at him, the way her cheeks turned faint red said it all.
“Do you like me more in the glasses?” Lucius approached her with deliberately slowed steps.
“Yeah.
You look exceptionally hot in them,” Layla remarked, again biting her lips.
“The dinner is ready.
Let’s go.” She turned around when Lucius grasped her arm, thus stopping her.
His nose buried in her hair, inhaling the scent of her shampoo while his hands slowly trailed up her arms to rest on her shoulders.
“Can’t dinner be delayed?” He whispered in her ear.
“You were hungry earlier,” Layla said, a small smile carving on her lips.
“Well, now I crave for you,” he murmured.
He moved his face down, nuzzling his nose on the crook of her neck while pushing away the hair.
“We are in the living room,” Layla reminded him as she pushed him slightly before turning around.
“Don’t be naughty now.
Let’s have dinner first, and then,” she paused with a glint in her eyes.
“And then I can have you,” Lucius completed the sentence for her.
Layla didn’t respond and walked away, but she couldn’t hide that smile and blush.
“She’s driving me nuts,” Lucius mumbled and followed her.
After having the supper with Layla, they retired to the bedroom.
“So, why does Zayne call you Boss?” Layla questioned as she sat in front of the dresser, applying the moisturizer on her hands.
“Because he worked for me for two years,” he answered, taking off the hoodie he had put on.
“He is quite young, Layla.
I think 28 or 29.
I pushed him toward studies and he cracked the exam of becoming a police officer.
But he does provide me useful information when it’s related to my work,” he explained.
“Hmm.
You have saved a lot of people, no?
You saved Grandma Alessia from loanshark goons, then you saved Aiden too from a miserable life,” Layla asserted, feeling proud inside.
She rose to her feet and walked to Lucius.
Placing her hands firmly on his shoulders, she straddled him with a teasing smile.
“You saved me too, Boss.
So, tell me,” she murmured, flipping her hair back in a seductive motion, “how should I repay you?” “You don’t owe me anything, Madam,” he replied with a smirk.
His hand moved instinctively to her head, threading through the back of her hair as he pulled her closer.
His lips latched onto her throat, eliciting a soft giggle from her.
His other hand slid to the curve of her back, supporting her effortlessly as their proximity grew.
He nipped at the soft skin of her throat with his teeth, drawing a sharp wince from her.
But before the pain could linger, he soothed the spot with a slow lick.
His lips trailed a series of heated kisses along her neck, igniting a fire in her body.
The thin straps of her night dress slipped down her shoulders, leaving her curves exposed to the warm lights of the room.
Layla’s hands slid to the back of his neck, her fingers tangling in his hair as she pulled him closer, a silent plea for more of his touch.
Her breath hitched as she moved her hips, grinding against him in a rhythm that sent a jolt of pleasure through both of them.
A guttural groan escaped his lips, mingled with a curse, his control crashing under her intoxicating movements.
