Real Heiress: Flash Marriage With Boyfriend's Uncle - Chapter 252
Chapter 252: Under no circumstances Chapter 252: Under no circumstances “Sylvia!
Sylvia!” Layla’s voice echoed in panic as the call abruptly disconnected.
Her heart raced, and without wasting another second, she stood up and hurried out of her seat.
Grabbing her phone, she frantically dialed Lucius’s number.
No response.
Her frustration grew as she stepped out of her office, her eyes scanning the corridor.
Spotting Aiden engaged in a conversation with an employee, she made a beeline toward him.
“Aiden, I need to speak with you immediately,” Layla said in an urgent tone.
Aiden turned to her, his brow furrowed at her expression.
The employee quickly greeted Layla before excusing themselves, sensing the seriousness of the situation.
“Madam, what’s wrong?
You look…
worried,” Aiden asked with concern which was evident in his voice.
Layla took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing thoughts.
“Sylvia just called me,” she said, her voice trembling.
“She’s in danger, Aiden.
Something happened, and we need to act fast.” “Danger?
What exactly did she say?” Aiden pressed, his tone growing sharp.
Layla quickly pulled out her phone, showing him the live location Sylvia had shared during the call.
“She didn’t have time to explain much before the call disconnected,” Layla explained, her voice tight with worry.
“This is the location she sent me.
We need to rescue her, and we need to do it now.
Lucius isn’t answering my call.
Where is he?” “Maybe he’s in a meeting,” Aiden replied calmly, though his expression grew tense.
He quickly pulled out his phone.
“I’ll call Roger,” he said, dialing the number.
Roger, who was seated in the boardroom surrounded by executives, noticed his phone vibrating.
Frowning at the interruption, he excused himself from the ongoing meeting and stepped out into the hallway.
“Yes, Aiden?” Roger answered, his voice brisk.
“Where’s the Boss?

We have a situation,” Aiden said, lowering his tone but not masking the urgency.
“Sylvia is in danger.” Roger froze, his hand tightening around the phone.
“What?
Are you sure?” “Positive.
Madam received a call from Sylvia just moments ago before it got disconnected.
She shared her live location-it’s from Italy, but she’s far from where we are,” Aiden explained quickly.
“I’m reaching out to our men in the area now.” “Understood.
I’ll inform the Boss immediately,” Roger said, his tone grave.
He ended the call without further delay.
Layla, who had been anxiously waiting, stepped closer to Aiden as he tucked his phone back into his pocket.
“What did he say?” she asked, her voice tinged with worry.
“He’ll notify the Boss right away,” Aiden replied, his voice steady despite the tension.
“In the meantime, I’ll contact the our men and the local police in that region and mobilize our resources nearby.
We won’t waste any time.” Layla nodded at his plan and stared at her phone, making sure Sylvia’s live location would not go off radar.
~~~ Meanwhile, Lucius abruptly ended the meeting with the tech team the moment Roger informed him of the situation.
His usually calm demeanor was replaced by urgency as he strode swiftly to his office.
Once inside, Lucius grabbed his phone from the desk and saw a missed call from Sylvia.
His heart sank.
Without wasting a second, he dialed her number, pacing the length of the room as the line rang.
“Pick up, Sylvia,” he murmured under his breath, his tone laced with frustration and worry.
As the call went unanswered, Roger stepped into the office, his expression grim.
“Aiden has already started making the necessary arrangements,” he informed Lucius.
“He’s coordinating with local authorities and mobilizing our people in the area.” Lucius nodded sharply but didn’t look up, his attention fixed on his phone.
“Why isn’t she answering now?” he muttered, his grip tightening around the device.
“She could be in a situation where she can’t respond,” Roger suggested carefully.
“But we’ll reach her, Boss.
Aiden’s on it, and I’ll personally oversee the updates.” “Hmm.
I need to go to Layla and find out what Sylvia said,” Lucius muttered, turning on the heels of his shoes.
Before he could take another step, Layla entered his office with Aiden following close behind.
Her face was pale with worry.
“Did you call Sylvia?” she asked urgently.
“Her location…
it’s off the radar.” Lucius’s eyes narrowed, and he immediately dialed Sylvia’s number again.
This time, the call connected.
“Sylvia,” Lucius said, his voice sharp.
“Where are you?
What the hell is going on?” “I already sent the location to Layla,” Sylvia snapped back, her voice breathless and tinged with panic.
“Why are you scolding me?
Just save me!
You can yell at me all you want later.” “Your location is off,” Lucius shot back.
“Turn it on now.
We’ve informed the local police, so contact them immediately.
I’ll be there soon.” “Fine, I’ll contact them,” Sylvia replied quickly before ending the call.
Layla glanced at her phone and let out a sigh of relief.
“Her location just appeared again.
She’s still far, but at least we can track her now.” Lucius’s jaw tightened as he made his decision.
“I need to leave for Naples immediately,” he said decisively.
Turning to Roger, he added, “You’re coming with me.” Layla stepped forward.
“I’ll go too.
I want to make sure she’s safe.” “No,” Lucius replied firmly, his tone brooking no argument.
“You’re going home with Aiden.
I won’t risk your safety.” Layla looked at him in disbelief.
“Lucius, I can help-” “Sylvia brought this upon herself,” Lucius interrupted, his voice cold and final.
“Whatever mess she’s in, I’ll handle it.
But under no circumstances will I put you in danger.” Layla opened her mouth to protest but stopped when she saw the unyielding resolve in his eyes.
Aiden gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
“Come on, Madam,” he said softly.
“Boss is right.
Let him handle this.” Reluctantly, Layla nodded.
“Just keep updating me,” she said and kissed his cheek.
She took a step back when Lucius kissed the middle of her forehead.
“You’ll see me before dinner in the house,” he whispered.
Layla hummed.
Taking a step back, she allowed Aiden to guide her out of the room.
As the door closed, Lucius turned to Roger.
“Prepare the car.
We’re leaving now.” “I’ve already done that, Boss,” Roger replied.
Lucius grabbed his coat and left with Roger to bring Sylvia safely back to Rome.
