Chapter 27: Amazing
Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu woke up at four on the morning of the sixth day of the apocalypse.

They cleaned up, dressed, had breakfast, and did dishes as usual.

After that, Qin Wu sighed and held Mo Chenxuan’s hand.

“I am also reluctant, but there is no way to take the house.” Mo Chenxuan said.

“I just don’t want other people to live in this house after we leave.”

“We can burn it if you want.” Mo Chenxuan suggested, but Qin Wu shook her head.

Eventually, the two collected all the removable things from the house and closed the windows, doors, and gates before leaving the villa.

Outside the villa gate, Qin Wu took out the Hummer from her space, and Mo Chenxuan sat in the driver’s seat.

As he was driving to the gate of Villa Nine, Mo Chenxuan glanced at Qin Wu.

“You look beautiful.” He said, and Qin Wu chuckled.

Qin Wu wore white slim-fit jeans, an oversized white shirt, ankle boots, and red lipstick.

Her appearance was a perfect mix of innocence, maturity, and sex appeal.

“You also look very handsome.” She said.

A moment later, the car stopped at the gate of villa nine.

Soon after, Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong drove out in a Mercedes AMG G63.

“Qin Wu, Mr. Mo, good morning.” Lin Rongrong greeted them as she got out of the car.

“Morning.” Qin Wu also greeted.

After the greetings, the four hurdled together to study a map.

“We should be able to reach this village before nightfall.” Lin Rongrong said but Qin Wu shook her head.

“I think the farthest we can go is this mall.” She countered, pointing at the place.

Seeing the place, Lin Rongrong frowned.

“Isn’t that too near?” She asked, and Qin Wu shook her head.

“We need to get on the highway, but the entrance is at K-road.”

“Before the apocalypse, city T to K-road was a ten minutes’ drive. However, we are on the wrong side of the road and have to cross the flyover. The service lane to K-road will also not be an easy drive. We will likely be delayed for several hours on this stretch alone.”

“Miss Qin is right.” Xu Fei agreed and quickly continued.

“Not only the flyover and the service lane but also this stretch between the exit of Heishe Mountain pass and the entrance of the flyover. We likely won’t be able to get on the highway until noon or one.”

“Wu’er, the local government may already control the mall.” Mo Chenxuan said and pointed at another place.

“I suggest we stop here for the night.”

“Royal Gold Academy?” Qin Wu frowned.

“Brother Chenxuan, the apocalypse started before the school broke for the summer holidays. There will be thousands of zombie children in that school.”

“You are right, but everyone collapsed at four in the morning. The students, teachers, and other workers were sleeping in their dormitories. There shouldn’t be too many zombies in other areas. Also…” Mo Chenxuan hesitated before he continued.

After that, several people fell silent, but Qin Wu quickly regained her composure.

“Okay. Let’s go to the Royal Gold Academy.” She said, turning to Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong.

“I also agree.” Xu Fei said, and Lin Rongrong nodded.

After that, the two couples returned to their cars and drove out of the villa area.

In the car, Lin Rongrong was unusually quiet.

“What’s wrong?” Xu Fei asked.

“I am realising we were too arrogant.” The woman said.

“What do you mean?”

“We collected supplies, practised killing zombies, and mapped a route, preparing to head to the capital. However, we ignored many risk factors and almost plunged ourselves into danger. The more we interact with Mr. Mo and Qin Wu, the more I realise we can’t compare. They are amazing.”

Hearing this, Xu Fei chuckled.

“I don’t know Qin Wu but Mo Chenxuan is ranked first among the most eligible bachelors in the country.”

“Is he so amazing?” Lin Rongrong couldn’t help but be surprised.

“Mo Chenxuan was thrown in a trash can just after he was born. Fortunately, a nurse found him and took him to an orphanage. However, maybe because of the trash can matter, he was never adopted and lived in the orphanage until he was eight when the place burned down.”

“I don’t know how he survived, but his life is legendary. From such a background, he ranked first in the college entrance examination and entered P University in city B. He was thirteen at the time.”

“From what I know, he started his business during his first year of university. Twelve years later, his Mo Group is among the top ten in the country.”

When Lin Rongrong heard this, she was even more shocked.

“I should have paid more attention to the news.” She muttered.

“Why? Do you want to dig Qin Wu’s corner?” Xu Fei asked, and Lin Rongrong rolled her eyes in exasperation.

“Stupid.” She said and then turned to Xu Fei.

“How do you know him?”

“He used to date Chu Wan’er. I met him when he came to the set to visit her.”

“It turns out you are love rivals!”

“What love rivals? Chu Wan’er and I have nothing to do with each other. Also, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu…”

“Absolutely in love.” Lin Rongrong said, and Xu Fei nodded in agreement.

“Although I haven’t known them long, it’s easy to see. He never looked at Chu Wan’er the way he looks at Qin Wu.”

‘Love.’ Lin Rongrong sighed and glanced at Xu Fei.

Although she defied her family and went to medical school instead of business school, she couldn’t avoid the arranged marriage.

After two years of marriage, the two had evolved from acquaintances to friends.
