Chapter 29: Foetus Zombie
The flyover was one hundred metres long and ten metres wide.

However, one thousand and thirty-seven zombies were crammed on it.

“This is unnatural.” Xu Fei stated, and the other three agreed.

“Should we consider another road?” Lin Rongrong asked.

“There is a pedestrian bridge one kilometre up the road and an underpass three kilometres down the road. We can consider them, but there is no guarantee we won’t encounter a similar or worse situation.” Mo Chenxuan said.

“I think we should lure the zombies from the flyover. We can deal with a few at a time.” Qin Wu suggested.

“Lure them how?” Lin Rongrong asked.

“Noise.” Xu Fei said, and Qin Wu nodded.

Soon after, Xu Fei forged two metal rods and handed them to Lin Rongrong.

“Rongrong, clang them loudly, but remember to stop when twenty or so zombies come over.” He said.

Using the method of luring and killing before luring again, the four fought for one hour.

After one hour, Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong became sluggish.

“Rest in the car to replenish your superpowers.” Qin Wu said, removing the couple’s car from her space.

“What about you?” Lin Rongrong asked.

However, they didn’t ask and instead went to their car.

After the couple left, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu looked at each other.

After that, Qin Wu took out the purified crystal cores while Mo Chenxuan put the new crystal cores in a container of space water.

Soon after, each took a purified crystal core and closed their eyes to meditate.

Half an hour later, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu returned to the battlefield.

“Do you need to rest?” Qin Wu asked, and Lin Rongrong shook her head.

“Not yet.” She said.

An hour later, Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong reached their limit.

However, just as they were about to leave the battlefield, a loud screech echoed in the surroundings.

Barely three seconds later, a dark shadow arrived before them.

“Look out.” Lin Rongrong screamed, subconsciously pushing Xu Fei to the side.

At the same time, the black shadow swooped towards Lin Rongrong.

However, it wasn’t over.

Before the shadow could touch her, a lightning bolt struck it, and horrible screeches reverberated in the surroundings.

While Lin Rongrong was disoriented, Mo Chenxuan moved, and another lightning bolt struck the shadow.

Unfortunately, this was not enough to kill the shadow.

After resisting the two attacks, the shadow ignored Lin Rongrong and angrily rushed towards Mo Chenxuan.

“What the hell is that?” Lin Rongrong asked as Xu Fei helped her stand.

“It looks…” Xu Fei started, but Lin Rongrong had already recognised the creature and no longer needed an answer.

“It’s a foetus zombie. Oh god…, its umbilical cord is still attached to the placenta.” She muttered, her eyes shimmering with tears.

Xu Fei was also not in a good mood and unconsciously clenched his hands.

‘I am too weak.’ He thought.

On the other side, Mo Chenxuan was fighting the foetus zombie.

The foetus zombie was several times more powerful than ordinary level-one zombies.

It was as fast as a level one speed superpower, and its strength was almost at level two.

Most importantly, when it screeched, the surrounding zombies became agitated and rushed towards it.

Seeing this, Qin Wu turned to Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong.

“You have both exhausted your superpower. Hurry up and return to the car.” She said.

After the two went to the car, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu continued to fight.

Fifteen minutes later, Mo Chenxuan killed the foetus zombie, and Qin Wu cleared the surrounding zombies.

However, both were extremely exhausted.

After collecting the crystal cores, they went to their car to rest.
