“The entrance fee is surprisingly humane.” Mo Chenxuan said, and Qin Wu nodded.

In the previous life, the entrance fee was as high as half of one’s possession.

However, when Qin Wu turned to the other side of the pamphlet, she realised the humane entrance fee was just bait.

“It turns out they were waiting for us here.” Qin Wu sneered.

“What’s wrong?” Mo Chenxuan asked, but Qin Wu didn’t answer.

Instead, she handed over the pamphlet and waited for Mo Chenxuan to check for himself.

A moment later, the man sighed.

“Entering the base is relatively cheap, but staying is extremely expensive. The exchange rate for housing, utilities, food, and other things is sky high.” He said, and Qin Wu nodded.

“Superpowers can afford these prices, but ordinary people…” Qin Wu frowned.

“Brother Chenxuan, is the leadership trying to discourage ordinary people from staying in the city B base?” She asked.

After all, the cost of living was too exaggerated.

Even the superpowers had to work very hard to afford a decent lifestyle in city B.

“Sleep, eat, and practice.” Qin Wu said and subconsciously sat between Mo Chenxuan’s legs, leaning her back onto his chest.

“Twenty-four hours will pass in no time.” She said, and Lin Rongrong rolled her eyes.

‘Am I the same as you? Do I dare to lean on Xu Fei and watch the hours go by?’

Lin Rongrong was resentful, but all her resentment culminated in a sigh.

Twenty-four hours was abnormally long.

Occasionally, the six heard gunshots and terrified screams.

However, their shed was relatively peaceful, and none of the occupants turned into zombies.

One day later, the six were released and allowed to enter the base.

“Brother Mo, I have to report to the army, but I will find you after I have settled down.” Lu Hao said in a solemn voice.

“Okay.” Mo Chenxuan nodded.

After that, the Lu uncle and niece said goodbye to everyone and hurried into the base.

Fifteen minutes later, a hummer arrived at the entrance of the villa area.

However, before it could drive in, three guards stopped it.

“What’s your name, and which house are you going to?” One of the guards asked.

“Villa number eight. My name is Mo Chenxuan.”

When he heard the name, the guard was startled and immediately smiled.

“Mr Mo, we have heard about you, but we still need to verify your identity. Please show us your identity card.”

“Good.” Mo Chenxuan said and handed over his identity card.

At the same time, a car stopped beside the Hummer, and four people walked out.
