Chapter 63: Yejia Village
“Grrrrrrrrrrr.” The zombie roared, crushing into the surrounding zombies.

Although it didn’t feel pain, it instinctively knew that something terrible had happened to it.

After killing the metal zombie, Qin Wu found another level two zombie and began dealing with it.

Fortunately, this one was not a metal-type or physically enhanced zombie and she easily dealt with it.

In this way, the four fought for one hour and eliminated the three hundred zombies.

When they were done, Qin Wu released their cars and the four leaned on the Hummer.

“Let’s rest for fifteen minutes and then get back on the road.” Mo Chenxuan said and the others didn’t argue.

Fifteen minutes later, the cars left the area and continued towards Yejia.

Along the way, the team dealt with many scattered zombies but didn’t encounter a horde.

Because of this, their journey was relatively smooth and they arrived at Yejia in the late afternoon.

However, without a clear understanding of the situation, the team didn’t carelessly enter the village.

“Wu’er.” Mo Chenxuan called and Qin Wu nodded.

A moment later, a two-storey villa appeared on the roadside.

The villa was about two hundred square metres and had four bedrooms; two of which were ensuite.

In addition to the bedrooms, it had a sitting room, a kitchen, two entrances, a patio, a garage, two bathrooms, and a balcony.

If necessary, the bedrooms could be partitioned to create more rooms but that was not necessary.

After all, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu had collected thousands of prefab buildings from the LC Construction company.

“This…” Lin Rongrong exclaimed as soon as she saw the villa.

“This is the life.” She said, rushing into the villa.

When they saw this, Xu Fei, Qin Wu, and Mo Chenxuan followed.

Soon after, everyone chose their rooms before meeting in the sitting room.

“There is still two hours before nightfall. Wu’er and I will investigate Yejia village.” Mo Chenxuan said and the Xu Fei couple nodded in agreement.

Although they wanted to help, the situation was unknown and they could easily become burdens.

Considering that, they chose to wait until Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu figured out the situation.

“Please be careful.” Lin Rongrong said, looking at the two with a concerned expression.

“Don’t worry.” Qin Wu said.

Ten minutes later, Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu left the villa and headed towards Yejia village.

“Brother Chenxuan, do you have an idea of what’s going on?” Qin Wu asked.

After all, Mo Chenxuan’s spiritual power had a range of five hundred metres and Yejia was only three hundred metres from their team’s villa.

“It’s a mischief of zombie rats.”

“Zombie rats…” Qin Wu shuddered and her face turned pale.

“Is there something wrong with the rats?” She asked and Mo Chenxuan nodded before shaking his head.

“What do you mean?”

“Rather than the rats, it’s the village that’s wrong.” The man said and quickly continued.

“Wu’er, of the one hundred and forty-two zombie rats, ninety-seven are level two.”

“Ninety-seven?” Qin Wu couldn’t help but be shocked.

Although they took more than eight hours to travel from the base to Yejia, the village wasn’t very far from the base.

Thinking that there were ninety-seven level two zombie rats so close to the base, Qin Wu felt a little frightened.

“How is this possible?” She asked but Mo Chenxuan wasn’t done delivering the bad news.

“Also, there is a level three zombie rat in the nest.”

Hearing this, Qin Wu took Mo Chenxuan’s hand and subconsciously squeezed.

It was the early days of the apocalypse.

Let alone level three, there weren’t many level two zombies, mutated plants, animals, and superpowers.

Although they were powerful, forty-four level one, ninety-seven level two, and one level three zombie rats weren’t something they could easily handle.

They carelessly entered the village; they would die without leaving a complete corpse.

“Let’s go back for the time being.” Mo Chenxuan said.
