Chapter 70: Final Task
“Isn’t escorting survivors a standing mission in the base?” Lin Rongrong suddenly asked.

If possible, team Legends didn’t want to get involved with other survivors.

Rescuing and escorting survivors to the base was an easy way to earn team points.

Now that team Legends was at the last destination, it wasn’t impossible to think about rescuing and escorting the survivors in the surrounded building.

“Wu’er, what do you think?” Mo Chenxuan asked, looking at Qin Wu with a serious face.

“I think we should complete our task before thinking about rescuing people.” Qin Wu said, her eyes narrowed into slits.

Team Legends worked very hard to reach this point.

Soon after, Qin Wu released their villa and the four went inside.

“Where did the zombies in this suburb go?” Lin Rongrong suddenly asked.

“Maybe they were cleared out or…”

“Or?”

“Eaten by the zombie animals.” Xu Fei frowned.

Because the apocalypse started before dawn, there should have been many zombies in the suburb.

However, Mo Chenxuan had only seen animal zombies but no human zombies.

In that case, the four could only think of two possibilities but neither perfectly suited the situation.

“If the human zombies were cleared out, why were the zombie animals left behind? Also, I think the level of the zombie animals would be higher if they devoured all the other zombies in the suburb.” Xu Fei analysed.

Unable to think of a solution, the four had dinner and retreated to their rooms.

Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong immediately began to practice.

“How far is it from our task destination to the villa?”

As long as the villa was within Mo Chenxuan’s spiritual power range, they would be able to react if powerful zombies appeared around Xu Fei and Lin Rongrong.

“Brother Chenxuan, can you really not tell what kind of survivors are in that building?”

“Zero, one, one, two, three, five, eight, thirteen, twenty-one, thirty-four, fifty-five, eighty-nine, one hundred and forty-four and so forth.” The man said with a thoughtful expression.

“The first, third, fifth, seventh, ninth and eleventh numbers are zero, one, three, eight, twenty-one, and fifty-five.”

“Why is it so complicated?” Qin Wu complained but still keyed in the passcode.

Immediately after, the safe door swung open and a stack of documents was revealed.

Seeing the documents, Qin Wu reached in, took one of the papers and began reading.

However, the content was technical and completely above her head.

Aside from a few prepositions and common words, everything else felt like a foreign language.

That said, Qin Wu was an advocate of taking advantage of every opportunity that came their way.

With such a mentality, she took out her trusty phone and began recording and taking pictures of the documents.
