Chapter 119: Will you do the honors
“Young Miss! What’s going on ?What is that sound?” Susan hit on the door, concerned.
The sound of something falling startled her.
“Young Miss, did you fall off the bed? Are you hurt? Please tell me.” Susan kept asking, but no one responded.
She dashed to alert Jonathan, concerned that Eveline had passed out as a result of the fall.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Eveline sat over Gabriel with her hand on his mouth.
When she heard the faint sound of footsteps, she flicked her gaze towards him and murmured, “You need to leave, now…”
Gabriel shot her a fierce glare, motioning something she couldn’t comprehend. But then he quickly withdrew her hand from his mouth and said, “How, when you keep sitting on me like that?”
Eveline stared at their stance confused and stood up swiftly.
Gabriel gave her a sharp look before forcing himself to stand.
“Ouch,” he hissed as a stinging pain shot through his waist.
A little too close to panic, Eveline frantically scanned the area between Gabriel and the door.
KNOCK
KNOCK
“EVELINE, PRINCESS, WHAT’S WRONG?”
Eveline’s eyes went wide hearing Jonathan’s voice and she jumped out of fear.
“My dad is here,” she whispered, looking anxiously at Gabriel; however, he simply walked past her and lay on the bed.
“So?”
“…”
Gabriel’s dismissive attitude was driving Eveline insane, and she stormed up to him and yelled, “I swear I’ll throw you out the window if you don’t wrap this up.”
She paused as an idea struck her mind, and her eyes lit instantly.
Eveline grabbed Gabriel’s collar and brought him toward the window while giving him a disdainful glare.
“Jump from here,” Eveline said, leaving Gabriel completely stunned by her incomprehensible remarks.
Eveline was left with no choice when she heard the worried voice from outside.
With Gabriel doing nothing, all she could do was push him out the window and draw the curtains closed.
Eveline quickly turned toward the door and took a few deep breaths before carefully walking and opening it.
Jonathan had just obtained a spare key from a servant and was about to unlock the door when he heard nothing from his daughter.
He responded to Susan’s concern about Eveline passing out inside her room, but before he could check, the door flung open and his daughter appeared.
Jonathan and Susan watched in disbelief as Eveline rubbed her eyes, acting as though she had just woken up. It was peculiar since she would not wake up at the sound of outside voices and banging if she was asleep.
“What happened, Dad, Aunty Susan? Why are all of you present here?” Eveline asked in a drowsy tone of voice.

Susan asked, “Young Miss, are you okay? “We heard the sound of something falling from inside and assumed it was you.”
Eveline furrowed her brow, seeming to be bewildered, but then broke into an uneasy smile.
“Oh, the fall; it was my phone that dropped off the side stand as I ran to the restroom to urinate. Unfortunately, I fell asleep inside and couldn’t hear you,” she lied, big time.
Jonathan entered the room with a frown, eyeing Eveline intently. His gaze searched around, still unconvinced by his daughter’s comments.
Eveline fretted looking around anxiously, and her gaze quickly fell on Gabriel’s clothes laying on the couch.
Before anyone could notice, she gathered it and sat on the couch.
“Are you sure it was the phone and not you who had a fall?” Jonathan queried, recalling Eveline’s tendency of tumbling off the bed during unpleasant dreams.
Yes, it was years ago when she was little, but Jonathan couldn’t resist asking.
Eveline grinned and shrugged. “Of course, why would I lie?”
Jonathan gave her a contemplative look, but eventually gave in.
“Okay, now that you are awake how about joining me for the breakfast?” Jonathan inquired, prompting Eveline to wrinkle her brow.
She returned her gaze to Jonathan after checking the time on the wall.
“Isn’t it too early for breakfast?” she inquired.
“Yes, it is because I have a meeting to attend.” Jonathan replied.
Eveline gave it some thinking before nodding with a pout.
“Okay,” she said, and Jonathan proceeded to leave when he saw something that made him stop.
His brow furrowed as he carefully moved towards the window.
“Why haven’t you opened the curtain?” He inquired, startling Eveline, and she swiftly rose to her feet, following her father with firm steps.
Jonathan reached the window and was about to remove the curtain when Eveline barged in and stood before him.
“I’ll do it,” she replied with a smile.
Jonathan stared at Eveline for a while, doubtful of her actions, before turning to go.
Susan followed him out, and I locked the door behind them.
When she was certain that everything was under control, she turned and opened the curtains to allow Gabriel to enter.
“Get dressed and leave quickly,” she ordered, scooping up his clothing from the couch and pushing them towards him.
Gabriel gave Eveline a puzzled glance before flinging the clothing on the bed and crossing his hands.
“Not unless you kiss me and console me for all you’ve done to me. I nearly jumped out of the window because of you, you should know,” he remarked firmly, leaving Eveline aghast
Eveline’s mouth practically dropped to the floor as she saw him reach the bed and sit with his legs crossed.
Gabriel was certainly straining her patience, and if she hadn’t been at fault, she might not have avoided hurling out from her balcony.
But wait, how is it her fault that he was scheduled to depart early in the morning in the first place?
“No, I won’t because I wasn’t to blame. You should have left even before I awoke. Why should I console you with a kiss?” Eveline stood in front of him and refused.
She glared at him, making Gabriel smirk.
“Then I don’t mind walking out of your room and greeting uncle,” he remarked, leaning comfortably on the bed.
Eveline’s lips twitched at his irritating remark. She could feel the blood pulsing through her veins. Her palm itched as she felt the urge to punch that smirk off his face.
“Gabriel, you will not do that,” she grumbled, gritting her teeth.
Gabriel spotted her fist and sighed before looking directly into her eyes.
“Then kiss me,” he demanded, turning her cheeks scarlet with rage.
Just as she was about to lose her cool and snap, Gabriel grabbed her hand and pulled her onto his lap.
Gabriel, with his arms around her waist, smirked and pouted at her outraged expression.
“Kiss me and I will do as you say.”
Eveline clenched her jaw, controlling her wrath. She knew that if she turned him down, Gabriel would leave her room in these weird clothes.
She was less concerned with how people looked at him or thought about him, but rather with what they would assume had happened within her room.
Not only would Gabriel’s entrance into her room be questioned, but so would the events that occurred in between. And Eveline knew she would have a tough time convincing Jonathan and Susan that they only slept.
Eveline closed her eyes and let out a frustrated grunt before turning to Gabriel and murmuring, “Will you leave if I kiss you?”
“Maybe,” Gabriel shrugged, causing her to gnash her teeth, and he chuckled.
“Yes, indeed, I will.” he said and Eveline calmed.
“Will you do the honors, or should I initiate?” Gabriel asked, looking in her controlled expression.
His gaze lingered on her lips, which parted slightly as she breathed out.
He had been yearning to touch them since yesterday night, but he didn’t mind because he was holding her in his arms to sleep, which was far more enchanting. However, the kiss would not be an exception.
His obsession with her lips began unexpectedly on the day he forcibly kissed her. But now he simply couldn’t get enough. He wanted to taste the hell out of her just to satiate his insatiable thirst.
Eveline glanced at him and gently placed herself on his lap, her knees lying on each side of him on the bed, before carefully cupping his face and bringing her lips to contact his.
An instant spark lit up with in their hearts, and the slow kiss evolved into something passionate.
Gabriel’s hand extended from her waist to her upper back as they devoured her mouth like a fucking meal.
Not only did Gabriel lose control, but Eveline, who was trying not to fall for it, also lost count.
Her hand moved up from his nape to his hair, delicately grasping his silky lock in her fingers and pressing his face into her for proper access.
“Um…” a muffled gasp spilled from her lips, filling the silent room with the sound of their kiss.
Gabriel hands began to move all over her back, slowly sliding into her top and exploring her bare skin.
She was soft like cotten and delicate like a doll who he was scared of hurting.
