Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 132
Chapter 132: Dr.
Lilith is leaving Chapter 132: Dr.
Lilith is leaving Eveline scoffs and nods in agreement.
“What a liar,” she whispered under her breath, stealing Gabriel’s smile as he continued to consume the meal.
“So, Gabriel, what are your thoughts on having an internship at your father’s company?
I heard Stefan has already started it, but you still seem to take your time,” he inquired, beginning a conversation.
Jonathan realized why Marcus compelled his son to do an internship, something Gabriel didn’t require.
Still, he wanted to know Gabriel’s thoughts about taking over their family firm.
“I would like to focus on my studies and enjoy my final year of college, and as for taking over the company business, I will do so when the time comes,” Gabriel stated, keeping his thoughts clear before Jonathan.
Jonathan nodded, fully agreeing with Gabriel’s point of view on focusing on his academics before moving on in life.
“That’s feasible since we all know you won’t disappoint anyone after taking over the position,” he stated proudly.
They soon finished their breakfast, with Jonathan leaving before them.
“I’d be going first, and thank you for coming here at your uncle’s request,” Jonathan said, smiling as he walked away.
“Why did you tell me that Dad asked you to come and stay?” Eveline inquired, casting a harsh glance at Gabriel as soon as Jonathan was out of sight.
“You didn’t ask?” He responded with a shrug, resting the fork on the empty plate before wiping his lips with the handkerchief.
Eveline’s fingers itched to punch the careless expression on his face, but her desired dream was cut short when Susan arrived.
“Young Master, Miss, would you like to have something else?” she asked.
Gabriel graciously declined, but Eveline did express her thoughts: “Yes, I would like you to have him thrown out of the house,” she said as she stood up and marched out of the house, leaving Susan stunned.
Gabriel bowed awkwardly and rushed following Eveline, prompting Susan to break into a sincere smile at their cuteness.
“You truly belong with each other,” she murmured, keeping her gaze fixed on the door, but then a notion struck her and she frowned.
“I can’t do it unless I know why Tiffany and Jacob are insisting on my leaving the job,” she whispered in despair after her chat with her husband and daughter last night.
It was shocking to see Tiffany compel with her father without explaining why they wanted her to retire.
However, she will do whatever they want unless they provide her a legitimate reason.
Susan groaned and resumed her job, brushing away her thoughts.
**** [Outside] “I never intended to hide anything from you, but you assumed everything on your own.
So there’s no need for you to blame me,” Gabriel remarked, following Eveline to her car, despite his car already parked next to hers.
Gabriel then climbed inside Eveline’s car, surprising her.
“Who allowed you to get into my car?” she inquired, paying no attention to his statements and telling him to get out.
“I don’t need anyone’s permission to make up with my girl,” he remarked, sitting comfortably in the seat and motioning for the driver to start the car.
Eveline rolled her eyes in frustration and folded her hands like a rebellious child.

There was no need for her heart to drop in her stomach thinking about her father discovering Gabriel in action if she had been informed earlier, but this man next to her likes to surprise her, which only shocks her.
As the drive began, Eveline swiftly requested that the driver change their location to a book cafe near Blissful Street.
“Are we meeting someone?” Gabriel inquired with a hint of wonder in his tone.
It was clear that Eveline would not mind taking him anywhere unless he knew who they were meeting.
So he assumed that was the sole reason she had opted to accompany him.
Eveline didn’t bother to respond and continued to appear dumb, like Gabriel was invisible.
After twenty minutes, their car came to a stop in front of the Jubilee Book Café, and they both stepped out.
Gabriel silently followed the girl to the table, where he noticed a familiar face.
“I thought you were coming alone.” Stefan sounded surprised to see Gabriel tag along.
However, the man merely ignored him and focused on the girl seated next to Stefan.
“Miss Ella, what a pleasant surprise!” Gabriel greeted Ella, giving Stefan a confused but amused look.
Ella nodded politely and returned his greeting.
“Now I see why you chose a book cafe rather than a raucous club.
Your taste is truly changing, brother,” Eveline commented as they settled into the vacant chair across from them and flicked her eyes to Ella.
“Am I right, Miss Ella?” she inquired, making her blush in response.
Gabriel told Eveline that something was brewing between the two of them.
So she wasn’t surprised when he told her Ella was also joining them.
Stefan cleared his throat, trying to draw Eveline’s attention back to him.
“There’s no need to clean your throat.
We’ve already focused our attention on you,” Gabriel remarked, patting his shoulder and smiling.
Stefan gave him a threatening glance before staring at Eveline.
“Eve, how could you bully your brother like that?
I understand that the iceberg does not value me, but you should not look down on me.
That’s impolite,” he complains, making a miserable look.
“How rude am I, brother?
I complimented you,” she teased, and he sighed in defeat.
“Fine, I am flattered now.
Please, can we dive into the topic of why I called you here?” stated the guy.
The jovial atmosphere abruptly turned somber, with all eyes focused on Stefan.
“Dr.
Lilith will soon leave the country,” Stefan declared, shocking everyone.
“And if I am not wrong, then maybe after a day or tomorrow,” responded Ella.
Ella learned about the news from the security guards, who had been instructed that their assistance would be required in transferring the belongings from the residence.
She double-checked with her landlord, who happened to be Ms.
Volkov’s close friend.
“We have to stop this.
Dr.
Lilith cannot leave.
She is the only person who can help us expose Alex,” she said, her voice full of agitation.
“But what about her clinic and the helper that you bribed? Why hasn’t she warned us about it?” He said, his annoyance visible on his face.
“That girl isn’t answering my call, so I just couldn’t confirm from her,” commented Stefan.
“I hope she is not in any trouble.
Did you already warn her to take precautions?” Eveline inquired, noticing something odd in all she heard.
Something wasn’t right.
She could sense it.
Stefan nodded confidently, but now that Eveline had brought up the subject, he considered personally checking into her.
“I’m convinced Alex is behind it; otherwise, she wouldn’t leave everything like that.
After all, she made significant sacrifices to get where she was.” Gabriel spoke, and everyone agreed.
Gabriel took a time to think before turning to gaze at Stefan.
The two communicated silently before he turned to face Eveline.
“Eveline, can you do something?” He requested, prompting her to furrow her brow, but seeing the serious expression on his face, she quickly agreed.
Taking a deep breath, he proceeded to tell her everything before they all parted ways.
**** [Lilith’s House] “You still haven’t told me the reason behind your decision, Lilith.” Ms.
Volkov inquired as she stood at the entrance, watching her daughter pack her belongings.
Last night, she discovered her daughter with a bandage on her face, and when she asked what happened, she refused to talk.
Ms.
Volkov was wary of her daughter’s behavior since she informed her about someone threatening her, but she refused to reveal the identity and cooperated with the investigation by distorting the truth.
And now this unexpected departure, without even bothering to inquire if she was ready.
Ms.
Volkov has seen her daughter as a completely different person following her divorce.
She had hidden so much about her life that she had forgotten her genuine character.
“Are you being threatened again?” she asked.
” If so, let’s seek support from the police.
I am confident they can aid us.” Ms.
Volkov’s words halted Lilith.
Her grip on the clothes tightened, and she breathed deeply.
“Mom, it’s not like what you are assuming.
I occurred to find a decent position abroad, so we need to relocate,” Lilith stated without looking at her mother.
Ms.
Volkov’s brow furrowed as she struggled to believe her daughter.
The bruising on her face indicated something else and she knew her daughter was lying.
Just as she was about to raise her voice for additional questions, her phone buzzed with a notification, and she occurred to open the photos that were sent to her, leaving her shocked to the core.
“Lilith, is this true?
Are you having an affair with Henry Howard?” She asked shoving the phone screen before her face Lilith’s face paled and she looked at her mother in sheer terror CREATORS’ THOUGHTS akshaya_vanne Thank you majsienes for the golden ticket NEW BOOK ALERT Marriage with my daughter’s father: Darling please be gentle
