I do not want to miss the start.” Eveline and Gabriel walked into the dark cinema hall and quickly took their seats.

Gabriel had planned to take Eveline to see a movie after their breakfast, but she changed her mind at the last minute and chose an action film instead of a romantic one.

Gabriel realized she did it on purpose to avoid being swayed by any romantic moments that might heighten their desire.

It was a wise move on her part, but Gabriel was determined to thwart her plan and achieve his goal.

As the two took their seats, Eveline completely focused her attention on the white screen, forgetting all about him.

Gabriel observed the girl from the side, as she ate one popcorn at a time.

Her eyes gleam with each action scene, and her mouth continues to eat a lot of the cheese salted popcorn.

Gabriel had no idea Eveline would enjoy an action thriller movie because he had only seen her reading romantic novels.

But he was pleased to learn another fact about her.

“Why are not you watching this movie?” Eveline inquired, sensing Gabriel’s intense gaze on her.

She thought forcing him to watch an action movie would keep him from drooling over her, but it turned out to be a bad idea because no matter what they see, he will only focus on her.

“Are the popcorn tasty?” he asked, resting his face on his knuckle and looking at her softly as she continued to eat the popcorn.

Gabriel was more interested in her than in the film.

So it was better for him to focus on her than to waste his time on something uninteresting.

Eveline paused and looked at him in puzzlement.

She noticed him staring at her, but it turned out he was looking at the popcorn in her hand.

Unfortunately, he moved quickly toward Eveline, stunning her before she could offer him anything.

Eveline’s eyes widened and her lips parted in surprise at the sudden closeness.

His gaze shifted from her face to her lips, and she felt a wave of caution come over her.

Brushing her lips, he said, “I too want to taste it.” When his thumb touched her lip, Eveline gulped and felt a knot in her stomach.

She purposefully changed their plans and chose an action thriller film because she did not want Gabriel to feast on her lips by becoming enthralled by any romantic scenes.

She had read in the novels how the male lead is enthralled by the scenes in the film and kisses the female lead inside the dark theater room.

They had already done more than kiss, and she did not want them to eat each other in front of everyone.

But now she was worried that her plan to disrupt his plan would backfire because the man in front of her did not appear to be giving her a chance to speak.

“Y-You can have them,” Eveline stuttered, intimidated by the way his eyes feasted on her lips, and the next moment he simply went ahead and captured them.

Eveline was so shocked that she dropped the popcorn on the floor, causing chaos.

“Gabriel, Eveline, is that you?” a voice called out from the side, and Gabriel quickly drew back.

With a slight tilt of his head, he noticed Stefan and Ella sitting three seats away.

When he saw them, his face turned pale, as if he had seen a ghost.

However, he did not allow that to appear on his face because he quickly masked it in the dark.

While Eveline tried to hide her face, Gabriel threw a dagger at him.

Why the hell would you bring Eveline to the same cinema hall, and what the hell were you trying to do?”  Stefan might be the one courting for their union, but he was Eveline’s brother, and watching Gabriel kiss her like that inside the dark room made him feel offended.

Gabriel arched his brow and questioned him, “As if you were not doing the same thing.” Stefan quickly looked away and shrugged his shoulders, refuting his claim: “I wasn’t.

Ella warned me against taking advantage of their situation.”  Gabriel was rendered speechless.

“And you agreed?” he exclaimed in surprise.

Stefan simply shrugged his shoulder, completely ignoring him, prompting Gabriel to burst out laughing.

Stefan gave him a puzzled look and asked, “What is so funny about it?

You know I am a gentleman, and listening to my girl is my top priority.  Gabriel’s smile vanished as he heard his words, and he only gave him an unbelievable stare.

“Yes, you are, but this gentleman intends to take his girl away from Eveline.” He pointed to the table where the girls were engaged in a lively conversation.

Throughout the movie, the girls ignored them and sat with each other.

Not only did they enjoy the film, but they also forgot they were not alone.

After sending them to bring something to eat, they clung to each other like long-lost sisters, completely ignoring their partners.

Stefan simply sighed at him.

“I do not think that is possible.

You know Eveline would skin me if I interrupted their conversation,” he said with a shake of his head.

“I do not want you to handle Eveline, but Ella.

Just take her away from Eveline.

And if you decline me then I will tell her the nickname you gave her”  Gabriel warned leaving no place for argument.

Stefan wept as he looked at Gabriel through wide eyes.

“El, baby…” Ella turned to the side and watched Stefan rush to her with a dreed face, saying, “I do not feel well.

Can we go home, please?” Stefan casts a glance at Eveline, watching her furrow.

“What happened, Brother Stefan?” Eveline inquired with concern.

Ella, too, looked distressed and rushed to his side.

“Ah, I….I …” “He has a stomachache,” Gabriel said, standing next to Stefan.

Stefan agreed with Gabriel after a brief meaningful glance, and he quickly nodded, holding his stomach.

“I think I need to see a doctor.

Babe, please, can we just?” he asked with a painful expression, and Ella immediately agreed.

“Yes, let us go,” she said, and they quickly departed.

Gabriel smirked at their retreating figure before shifting his focus to Eveline.

“What is with the smirk on your face?” The smile vanished from his lips, and his expression became serious.

“What smirk; see, I did not even move a muscle in my face,” Gabriel replied, pointing to his face.

Eveline’s eyes narrowed as she carefully observed him before abandoning the suspicious act.

“What should we do next?” She asked, her mood returning to normal.

Gabriel quickly altered his expression.

Without saying anything, he intertwined their fingers and led her away.

**** Meanwhile, Ella was very concerned about Stefan because he kept whining in pain, but once they arrived at the parking lot, he stopped crying immediately.

Ella was taken aback when she saw him smile on his own.

“Finally,” he said and turned to face her.

“Come, babe, let us go,” he said, confusing Ella.

“Did you not have a stomachache?” She asked about crossing her hand.

Stefan’s smile quickly faded, and worry took over his face.

Ella gave him a doubtful look now that she had figured out what was causing his pain.

Stefan smiled awkwardly and quickly embraced her.

“You were avoiding me.

I needed to do something.” “…” Stefan wasn’t joking when he stated that agreeing with his girlfriend was his duty.

In fact, he had been the most obedient boyfriend who didn’t even tried to conceal his intentions.

Stefan decided to be honest with her despite knowing she would be furious if he told her he lied.

Great.” Ella was astounded by how this boy could go from being the most sensible person to a five-year-old child.
