Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 159
Chapter 159: Well planned abduction Chapter 159: Well planned abduction “Miss, we have the best IT team in place to locate Miss Gracey.
I would suggest–” The officer’s comments were cut short when Gabriel shot him a piercing stare.
Daniel, who was watching Eveline glide her fingers expertly across the keyboard, couldn’t help but be intrigued to her abilities.
He knew she had studied hacking from Stefan, but this was the first time he had seen her put it into practice.
“She is incredible,” he couldn’t stop admiring her.
Eveline’s complete attention was directed on the screen as she worked meticulously on the task.
She traced Gracey’s phone number to check the addresses she went to for the delivery.
However, there was one last place she went before going missing.
“I located her last known whereabouts.” Eveline abruptly declared, “It’s somewhere near your neighbourhood,” shocking everyone.
Gabriel furrowed his brow and reviewed the address before verifying.
“Yes, that is the same address from which the order was placed at the last minute.
The lady stated that she wanted it for her daughter.” Rose agreed with Eveline.
Eveline furrowed her brow as she listened to her comments, her worries about Tiffany remaining.
“Her phone was turned on until eleven p.m., before it went off.
Maybe the battery has drained because I still see it glowing in the same area,” she explained.
“Send your team and search the area; I am confident you will find a clue to trace her,” Eveline directed, and the officer was soon compelled.
He just couldn’t bring himself to object to her after watching how cleverly she eclipsed his team’s tactics against Gracey.
‘I really need to alter the workforce.’ She then attempted to discover the number from which the lady had called, and to her dismay, it was from a local store near their bakery.
It was established that a trap had been laid for Gracey, and she was caught, much to their dismay.
Gabriel, noticing the flare of wrath in her eyes, inquired, “What is it?” “It was a well-planned abduction.
The number from which the order was placed came from a local store near their bakery,” she announced, leaving everyone stunned.
Rose, who overheard it, covered her mouth in disbelief.
“Who would want to abduct Gracey?
She is not someone who gets involved with the wrong people.
Whoever could have harbored such a nuisance thought of her.” Eveline and Gabriel exchanged a meaningful glance.
Only they knew what was going on, yet there is still a paucity of proof that could reveal the guilty.
“She offended someone, and now they’re after her,” she stated, leaving Rose stunned.
More tears welled up in her eyes, but Eveline promised her that Gracey would be safely returned to them.
“Do not worry, aunty; I will not let anything happen to Gracey.
She will return safe and sound.” I’m not sure why she felt connected to the person.

Perhaps she was so isolated from her mother’s shadows that she felt every feeling of her own.
Eveline’s only wish now was to get Gracey safe out from the captive area.
She wanted her to be safe and sound, nothing more nothing less.
“What about Alex?
What happened to him all of sudden?” Daniel asked after he learned Alex was taken to the hospital.
“We don’t know either but we can’t fall for anything that guy do.
He is still a psychopath who would manipulate his health for his goals,” Gabriel responded.
While the two were having a conversation, Eveline cautiously stared at them.
Her legs tapping in anxiousness before she went over to them.
“I need to use the restroom,” she blurted quickly, interrupting their chat, and they gave her an odd look.
Gabriel nodded and she walked by them, headed for the restroom, but she quickly adjusted her route and slipped out of the police station without being spotted.
Eveline took out her phone and hastily dialed a number before entering the taxi and drove away.
**** Meanwhile, the hunt for Gracey began when the crew arrived at the address, where they discovered her bicycle and phone abandoned on the spot.
“Look around, I am sure we might find a lead” The lead officer immediately asked his crew to investigate the abandoned house.
Gabriel stated that the location was secluded away from the bustling streets, with only a few individuals living there.
And as for the house, it was stated that the land was in absolute ruins because no one had lived there in years.
So it verified their suspicions that Gracey’s kidnapping was a well-intentioned plot carried out by someone she agitated.
However, as they searched about, they couldn’t find anyone to validate their suspicion.
“Sir!” a voice interrupted his thoughts, as he saw an officer rush to him.
“There is someone downstairs in the basement,” he announced, and the lead cop promptly followed him to the location.
The door was locked from the outside, but the banging continued disrupting their thoughts.
“Hello, is anyone inside?” he asked urgently, pushing his head against the door and hearing another bang in response.
His suspicions were confirmed, and he exclaimed, “We are opening the door” without notice.
He purposefully kept his voice loud so that the person within would be aware of their move, and at the count of three, he firmly kicked the door open, revealing her.
Gracey…
**** Meanwhile, Eveline arrived at the site where she had been ordered to attend.
It was none other than Aspen College.
She moved past the main building, avoiding everyone’s gaze, and towards the pool area building, where she was scheduled to meet the individual.
When she reached the top floor, she pushed open the door and stepped onto the terrace.
The cool breeze caressed over her skin, and with a sour expression, she picked out the phone and dialed a call.
“I’m here,” she responded, maintaining a chilly tone.
Eveline’s jaw tightened and her eyes sparked with undesired feelings, but she vowed to stand tough and not allow her heart waver for a single second.
‘Eve, you have to do this.’ she said shutting her eyes and chanting to herself when a faint sound of footsteps perked her ears, and it became much clearer, prompting her to open them.
“You did turn out to be a smart girl, Eveline.” Tiffany’s voice caused her fist to tighten, and she smirked as she turned to face her.
“But you are the most stupid girl I’ve ever met,” she added, her expression darkening as she made the scathing accusation.
