Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 160
Chapter 160: Jump Chapter 160: Jump Eveline hadn’t intended to face Tiffany, but when she found Gracey’s abduction occurred near Tiffany’s area, her suspicions were confirmed.
She understood that with Gabriel’s involvement, she wouldn’t be able to persuade Tiffany, so she opted to work alone without informing anyone.
“You will surely know who outshines between us” Tiffany was insulted, but she didn’t let her remarks affect her ego as she stood firm and mocked her back.
Eveline had always wondered what she had done wrong to make Tiffany dislike her son so fiercely.
Even if she desired Gabriel, why did she have to kill her and the baby?
Only if she had faced her and urged her to leave their life would she have done so, because she had already made up her decision for the sake of her child’s welfare.
If they had been truthful to her, she might have been able to save her child.
“Where is Gracey?” she inquired, her gaze preying on her.
Tiffany smirked at her simple comments and approached her gently.
“Why is there such a hurry?
“I want to bait my prey a little before disclosing the news,” she remarked, standing in front of her.
Eveline knew Tiffany wasn’t someone who would give in to her words.
She had been a thick skinned woman who would lie or manipulate the whole situation instead of accepting her fault.
So in order to make her feel superior, Eveline decided to play along.
She would want to know what she had in store for her this time.
“Fine, but with one condition.
If you respond, I will give it a fair attempt for whatever you have in store for me,” Eveline spoke clearly and loudly, leading Tiffany to crease her brow slightly.
She was astonished to see Eveline cooperating so suddenly, but despite her calm demeanor, she decided to proceed with her plan.
“What condition?” she said, her brow still furrowed.
“Why did you abduct Gracey?” Eveline inquired, forcing Tiffany’s lips to curl into a sarcastic smirk.
“Don’t you get it already?
“Why ask?” Tiffany regretted that her remarks were a poor joke.
“No, I do not.
So, please enlighten me.” Eveline pretended to be innocent, allowing her smile to waver and her eyes to darken at her intent.
“Do you regard me as a fool, Eveline?
What should I share with you?” Tiffany shot back, only to see her shake her head in disbelief, a provocative smile on her lips.
“Didn’t I mention it earlier?
But now I just want to know what makes you believe I wasn’t wrong.” Tiffany was irritated by her provocative statements, and she clenched her mouth in rage.
“I understand you and Gracey were trying to expose me by mailing those notes.
But you were foolish enough to believe it would make me confess my guilt,” Tiffany exclaimed out.

Eveline’s eyes squinted in delight, but she immediately concealed it.
“I know you hate me to the core, but what wrong Gracey done to you that you ruined her life like that” questioned Eveline.
“You know how hard she worked to get into Aspen, but you one bad intention almost ruined it for her.” “Tsk, she was simply a pawn I used to get back at you for that trick you pulled on me in class.
You embarrassed me in front of everyone. So I had to get back to you, and this is what I did.” Tiffany was spewing everything she had in her heart for Eveline, verbally expressing the depth of her anger.
She had been attacking her discreetly for a long time, using people to her advantage, but she no longer cared.
She knew Eveline knew more than she could tell; otherwise, she would not have been standing here. But that won’t change her motivation for meeting her.
Eveline scoffs at her.
She was not astonished because she already knew everything.
It was only that hearing her reveal everything was enjoyable.
“You’re not so awful, Tiffany, but I’ll still consider you stupid now that I know how little brain you have, and what’s the use of having Gabriel?
Tsk, poor girl, but your dream will never come true, because I will not accept you.” Tiffany’s gaze hardened as Eveline mocked her by clicking the correct button.
Gabriel was a sensitive subject for Tiffany.
Even the least mention of him would kindle a fire within her heart, intensifying her obsession tenfold.
“I know he won’t like me, but that doesn’t mean I’ll let you have him,” Tiffany grinned, daring Eveline.
She knew Gabriel had feelings for Eveline from the start, but the man was unaware, which allowed her to take advantage of it.
She tried everything to confuse him more by brainwashing him, but things began to shift when Eveline unexpectedly turned against her.
At first, she felt it was an illusion, but as time went, she learned that the girl she thought was naive was actually more smarter.
The day she deceived her before class made her realize how mistaken she had been all along.
She assumed she had Eveline wrapped around her finger, but she was wrong.
And now that she’d discovered her true face, she’d make certain to destroy her without a trace.
Keeping an eye on Eveline’s perplexed expression, she brought out her phone and played a recording.
“Eveline, please help me….these people will kill me….please Eveline…save me.” Eveline face paled at the voice she just heard on the phone, and her gaze shifted to Tiffany in fright.
“Did you hear that?” Tiffany commented, loving the dreary sight of Eveline’s visage in front of her.
She relished having the upper hand on her, reminding her of the puppet she was for her.
“You wanted to know where Gracey was, correct?
I’ll tell you, but only on one condition,” she repeated again, leaving Eveline in a difficult situation.
“You have to jump down from here making it look like a suicide” Eveline was stunned to hear what she said.
Aside from Alex, Tiffany was the most nasty person she had seen.
She knows how to manipulate others into dancing to her tune.
The only difference was that she stated it straight to her.
Gracey was the first to fall for her ruse, and now she wanted her to do the same.
“What happened?
Aren’t you going to save your friend?
Or should I have her killed with only one phone call?” she warned, making it impossible for Eveline to deal with.
Eveline held resolute, despite her concerns about Gracey’s safety.
She did give the cops her location, but she didn’t know if Gracey was there.
And now this.
Tiffany had once again ensnared her in her plot, from which she could not free herself.
“How can I trust it is Gracey?
What if you mimic her and pretend to pull an act?” Eveline hissed, seeing the blood drain from her face.
“What happened, cat caught your tongue?” she countered.
” I want to see her.
“Show me her face,” Eveline said, leaving her stunned this time.
Eveline would never longer fall for her trickery.
She believes she can take advantage of the situation, but she was prepared because she knew Tiffany would mimic Gracey’s voice from Gracey herself “Don’t outsmart me, Eveline.
I’m warning you; if you don’t want me to kill her, jump.” Tiffany was begun to feel scared, but she was not going to give up.
Today, she would end things with her and Gracey by blaming it all on Eveline.
After making it appear like a suicide, nobody would be able to interfere with her life any more.
So what did she say?
Gabriel would never love her.
Okay, he can do whatever he wants, but I’ll make sure he’s mine, hook or crook.
Tiffany was already dreaming about her victory, but then…
Suddenly, her phone rang, stopping their glaring games, and she answered it.
“The cops found Gracey,” she heard the voice, and in an instant, she felt the ground slide beneath her feet.
Her face grew ghostly pale, and she heard another sound that jolted her from the shock, causing her to give another shock.
“Eve…” Gabriel panted heavily, staring at the girl who nearly gave him a heart attack.
The news of her sudden departure shattered his mind, and only he knew how he got here.
Eveline furrowed her brow as she noticed Gabriel standing in front of her, but before she could say anything, Tiffany grabbed her and dragged her toward the balustrade, pushing her down the terrace.
“EVE!!!” Without missing a beat, Gabriel raced to her after witnessing her body flip backward.
Tiffany took advantage of the opportunity and fled the scene without looking back.
She knew Eveline would be dead by now, so she seized the opportunity to flee.
Gabriel reached the area and glanced down.
His eyes enlarge, and he breathes heavily.
When he thought he’d lost everything, but then a ray of hope washed over him when he spotted Eveline dangling down there.
“Gabriel” he heard her and a smile curled on his lips.
He wanted to reach out his hand to grab her, but the dreadful image that tormented him returned, causing a severe pain in his head and the next thing he knew was his body falling limp and off the terrace.
