Chapter 170: I love you Eve Chapter 170: I love you Eve “I WANTED GABRIEL!” Her voice echoed in the wind, sending shivers down Eveline’s spine.

“Because I desired him, I had to snatch him away from you!” When Eveline finally saw Tiffany’s true face, her eyes widened in terror.

She was hearing things that she could not believe, but how could she be wrong when Tiffany herself agreed?

“You believed that I had the decency to leap to your rescue from the thugs.

Stupid girl, after a long observation, it was all my plan to befriend you,” she declared, leaving Eveline stunned.

“Getting close to you was necessary for me to get close to Gabriel.

However, upon discovering your feelings for him, I came to the realization that he was not simple to win over.

So I devised a strategy to stalk you before making a move.

And believe me, I have never met an idiot with such a kind heart as you, Eveline.

You were moved by my fakery to the point where you believed me right away.” Eveline felt as though her words had stabbed her repeatedly as she went on to reveal her motive.

It showed how naive she was to be unable to discern anyone’s motivation.

She now understood why Stefan had warned her before, but she had ignored it, believing he was mistaken.  He was telling the truth, and she was the one who misinterpreted everything and did not give it a second thought.

However, was it really worth regretting when the man to whom she had dedicated her life abandoned her and began dating a liar?

All she did was be faithful and give her life to him in a way he never saw, but Gabriel always looked down on her for not being able to tell the truth to him.

Perhaps things would not have turned out this way if he had just once trusted her, if he had once let her into his heart and made an effort to get to know her better.

However, all of this regret was meaningless because their parents had no real influence over the force relationship they were attempting to drag.

Eveline took a deep breath, cupped her stomach, and pushed all the heavy feelings aside.

‘She would want her child to live a happy life away from them all.’  Eveline jogged her memory and cleared her mind.

“Do not worry, you can have him now that you have succeeded in breaking up the marriage,” Eveline said, leaving Tiffany staring at her.

“Be content with my used item, Tiffany, as Gabriel will always be a second-hand person that I gave to you as a charitable donation.” Eveline continued to slam Tiffany with her harsh words, putting her in her proper place, without holding back.

Tiffany had remained composed the entire time, but her heart boiled with rage when she began to verbally abuse her and remind her of her role in Gabriel’s life.

“Hold your tongue, Eveline…

Eveline saw through Tiffany’s warning and gritted her teeth.

“Why?

Tiffany, were my words hurtful?

However, do you not realize that my remarks are just salt on your sore ego after everything you did?

A pitiful girl like you who wants to live off of my trash should not expect anything good either, but if I wanted I could show you around.” “I SAID STOP IT, Eveline…

“Tiffany, unable to control her rage, dashed towards Eveline, pushing her body backward until she collided with the glass railing.

“EVE….”  In a split second, she grabbed Gabriel, who was standing behind Tiffany, with blank eyes, and flipped off the balcony, like a petal falling from the flower.

Eveline was certain that it was him staring blankly at her or the scream that followed, but all she could feel was the end of her life.

Back up, Gabriel’s gaze was fixed on the falling figure, which became smaller and smaller until it finally hit the ground and people began to gather around.

Like his voice, his heart dropped into his stomach as he realized what had happened.

He heard the police say, “Miss Tiffany, you are under arrest,” but he was too afraid to look at them.

Everything ended right before his eyes, and he was no longer able to see her.

He was late.

No, no, no…this cannot happen.

Gabriel quickly pivoted and hurriedly left the house, oblivious to Tiffany’s cries coming from behind.

**** Gabriel stood motionless outside the emergency room, staring at his hand that was stained with Eveline’s blood.

Even after plummeting from the height, her heart continued to race, which gave Gabriel hope for her chances to survive.

“You bastard!

What have you done to my daughter?

“Jonathan became enraged with Gabriel and grabbed his collar, slapping him in the face.

There was nothing more painful than the sting in his heart, and that was the only thing hurting him.

His life was an internal struggle, and it was hardly acknowledging a beat.

Gabriel was hoping for a second opportunity to make amends.

He was going to love Eveline unconditionally, just as he had always wanted to.

However, that hope was now hanging by a thread that could snap at any moment.

‘Nothing bad will happen to her,’ he repeated to himself.

When Gabriel did not react, Jonathan was about to slap him again, but Stefan intervened.

“Uncle, please do not lose your cool like that.

Please think about Eveline.” “What should I think?

My daughter’s fighting for her life because of him.” Belle and Richard did not object because they knew Jonathan’s accusations were correct.

“My daughter is on her deathbed as a result of your affair.

And I promise you, Gabriel, that if anything bad happens to her or the baby, I will kill you with my own hands.” Gabriel shot back his eyes in retaliation for Jonathan’s word, which struck like lightning.

His expression only expressed disbelief upon learning of Eveline’s pregnancy.

“Baby?” Gabriel muttered quietly, but before Jonathan could respond, the door to the emergency room opened.

Everyone dashed towards the doctor, but what he said next ripped the ground beneath Gabriel’s feet.

“I am sorry.

We were unable to save the mother and child.” “My daughter…”Jonathan burst into tears and dropped to his knees, crying for his daughter.

Gabriel stammered back at the doctor’s words, his thoughts still replaying them like a malfunctioning cassette recorder.

He had lost both his child and Eveline.

It appears that a curse has befallen him because he soon found himself without anything.

“No, she cannot die.

She cannot abandon me.” Unable to cope with reality, Gabriel stormed into the ward and saw her lifeless body lying there on the bed.

His legs failed him and he collapsed to his knees as soon as he got to her.

“Eve, get up.

You are sleeping, as I know.

Come on, get up.

I understand that you are upset.

I made a grave mistake, a sin, but please do not punish me like this.

I cannot bear it,” Gabriel continued to coax her, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Despite the coldness on her skin, he caressed her face, believing she was simply sleeping.

“How could you leave me alone?

What about our child?

You cannot do this.

I refuse to let you leave me.

How will I survive Eve?” “I love you, please wake up,” Gabriel cried, but she was not there to hear him.

His Eve was gone, leaving him in excruciating pain.

If he had arrived earlier, he might have saved.

Gabriel discovered Eveline’s decision to divorce him through his parents.

Even though he knew that everything would work out, he simply could not let her go.

He decided to use the waiter against Tiffany and arrest her before threatening her to reveal the identity of the man who had persuaded her.

He knew she was going to meet Eveline when she spoke to her on the phone as she was leaving his office.

But at the time, she was not sure why she was visiting her.

Had he known she would hurt her, he would never have allowed her to leave.

Gabriel was giving in to his guilt and dwelling on all the things he ought to have done.

But now everything was gone.

Gabriel’s life, happiness, and light were all gone, and he had lost his way of living His hand slowly slipped away from her cold face, and he stared at her blankly.

“I am accountable for everything.

I killed you,” he began blabbing the same words over and over as he stood up on his feet, ready to walk out of the ward angrily.

Gabriel had no idea where he was going, but he eventually found himself on the hospital’s terrace.

Everything was lost for Gabriel.

With the loss of his Eveline, his life became hopeless and barren.

“Eve, you cannot abandon me on this guilt trip.

I swear to love you, to atone for my transgression, and to follow you wherever you may be.” Gabriel forced himself letting the refreshing breeze blew across his face.

He had already made up his mind.

He would not have survived if Eve had not existed.

So the only way to meet her was to follow her.

Closing his eyes, Gabriel widened up his arms and smiled.

“I love you Eve, and I will come to you,” he said, his eyes flickering in response to the sound of something approaching him.

But before he could move to see who it was, his body was pushed off the terrace.
