Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 179
Chapter 179: Why don’t you reflect on your actions instead Chapter 179: Why don’t you reflect on your actions instead The car came to a stop, and Gabriel and Eveline stepped out and entered the police station.
Tiffany was reportedly causing problems and not listening to anyone.
She was continuously urging them to let her go, cursing her mother and everyone else for her plight.
Eveline understood how difficult it was for Tiffany to acknowledge defeat, but one day she would have to face the repercussions of her actions, and this penalty was nothing compared to what she would have caused her in the future.
As they entered the office, the officer welcomed them.
“Is she still the same?” Gabriel inquired, and the officer nodded.
Gabriel didn’t care what she did or what her life would be like after this.
All he wanted for Tiffany was to rot in jail and serve her sentence.
If he hadn’t been inclined to follow the law, he might have killed her himself.Tiffany deserved to die for whatever she had done.
But he decided not to break the law now that Eveline was on his side.
He would want to see her die and experience her fate, which was worse than what she had given them.
Gabriel turned to Eveline and caressed her head, asking, “Are you sure you want to meet her?” He wanted to make sure that leaving Eveline with Tiffany would not cause any problems.
Furthermore, Eveline urged him to keep out of this meeting because he was one of the key reasons why everything began in the first place.
Gabriel consented, but he was still concerned about leaving Eveline alone.
“Yes,” she responded, and he sighed.
Gabriel understood he couldn’t change Eveline’s decision, so he decided to let her finish her meeting so they could go shortly.
He then turned to face the officer and offered him a meaningful glance, to which he responded.
**** Tiffany was outraged within the cell.
Everything that had conspired with her remained in her consciousness.
She never expected her mother to betray her, but wasn’t she always protective of Eveline?
Now that she had reflected on her father’s statements, she understood that he might have been correct all along and that her mother was genuinely Jonathan Miller’s mistress; otherwise, she would not have handed her daughter over to police once again, choosing Eveline over her.
She had been shouting for two days, warning them to let her go, but her screams were ignored, and she was forced to remain in the cell, blazing in her rage at the people who had brought her here.
As she proceeded to hate everyone in her head, murmuring something to herself, she heard footsteps approaching inside her cell, and her lips paused.
Tiffany looked at the person’s feet standing outside the bars, gradually raising her gaze to see the face, only for her expression to darken in the end.
“What are you doing here?” she said through gritted teeth.
The image of Eveline standing before her eyes made her blood boil with wrath.
She wanted to kill her, but luck was on her side, since she was still standing before her, alive.
When she observed the sneer on her face, she curled her fist hard, taking in the taunting adversely.
“What do you think I’m doing here, Tiffany?
Isn’t it evident that I wanted to see you, or should I say let you see me all alive and breathing?” Eveline stood before her, unconcerned.

Tiffany clenched her jaw, her eyes burning with wrath, and hurled daggers at Eveline for making fun of her defeat.
“Give up, Tiffany.
You will not be unable to accomplish anything.
This is your end.” Eveline’s words echoed in her ears like a fucking storm.
It was as if she was abruptly smacked by a wave that pulled her deeper into the ocean, never allowing her to reach the land.
“I will not!
Not until I take everything from you!” Tiffany yelled, refusing to believe her words.
Tiffany had always wanted to live like Eveline when she first moved into the house.
Everyone treated her as her princess, from her staff to her father, everyone pampered her, which thrilled her to some extent.
She always wanted to be someone everyone admired, but her fate was not so fortunate because she was the daughter of the nanny who worked for her family.
Tiffany was so intrigued by her surroundings that when she came across Aspen, she attempted to approach her.
She began to fantasize about obtaining everything she desired, including her life and the man she loved.
Tiffany fell for Gabriel the instant she saw him for the first time, and her fixation with him grew to the point that she plotted to end his relationship with Eveline.
She became closer to her by rescuing her.
She kept her name disguised since she didn’t want anyone to interfere with her plan, even her mother, who was loyal to them and, most likely, to her young miss.
She assumed that being with Eveline would eventually earn her a position in their circle, but she was mistaken because no matter how hard she tried to make room for her, it was limited only to Eveline.
Stefan barely acknowledged her, and Gabriel avoided any girl other than Eveline.
And Daniel, she didn’t have a chance to befriend him until he joined Aspen a year later.
Tiffany had everything prepared, even defaming Eveline in front of the entire college, but it all backfired when Eveline suddenly grew smart enough to realize what was going on around her and threatened to expose the person.
It was a quick turn, but it sparked her interest in how Eveline had become so cautious that she didn’t bother to hide her dislike for her.
“You knew it was me, didn’t you?” Tiffany exclaimed, her eyes fixed on her, simmering with rage.
Eveline remained unconcerned, which provided an adequate response to her query.
“Then why didn’t you expose me earlier?
Why play along?” She snapped as she dashed towards her and slapped her fist against the bars, furious.
Tiffany couldn’t believe she was being played by Eveline, whom she wished to ruin.
It turned out she was one step ahead of her, obstructing every road that led Gabriel.
“How can you do this, Eveline?” She snapped, slamming her hands together again, unable to contain her rage any longer.
She regretted not watching her die in front of her eyes, knowing that this was the inevitable consequence.
At the very least, seeing her take her final breath in front of her eyes would have brought her comfort.
But everything was ruined, and she was still alive.
And she was the one who suffered defeat.
“You are the one asking me why I did that?
Seriously?
Why don’t you reflect on your actions instead” Eveline couldn’t stop herself from scoffing.
Tiffany still had the audacity to blame her while she was the one who forced her to do it.
If she hadn’t been so persistent in damaging her life, she wouldn’t have risen to her level to fight her.
