Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 215
Chapter 215: Give me the opportunity Chapter 215: Give me the opportunity Note:’Help me clear the first tier’ ****** Jacob was devastated by whatever had happened in the morning.
He almost escaped death.
All thanks to Susan.
If she hadn’t given them money, he could have died today.
But what happens next?
She merely offered compensation for saving his life, but he agreed to reimburse them within fifteen days.
But how?
The question had been bothering him for quite some time, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t come up with a solution.
Jacob made a mistake by trusting someone who eventually betrayed him.
Even though the guy gave him a large sum, he was eventually left stranded.
And now he had no one to rely on.
As he tried to think of ways to get out of this problem, a name came to his mind, and his eyes widened with acknowledgment.
Jacob saw it was a blatant attempt, but he still wanted to give it a shot.
He didn’t want to die, so he decided to take one final chance.
‘I hope this works,’ he remarked before quickly leaving the house.
Thirty minutes later, he found himself in front of Miller Mansion.
Jacob never dreamed that after all these years, he would be back, imploring this man for help.
But he had no other options.
Knowing that Jonathan did not put him behind bars while knowing what he had done was a significant message of kindness.
Jacob had previously seen his wife depart, so she wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the Miller Mansion.
He’ll be fast, then leave.
“Excuse me, Mister, you cannot stand here,” the guard replied, having observed Jacob standing outside the gate for some time now.
Perhaps he was a rookie guard who had no notion Jacob was not allowed to step foot here.
He decided to take advantage of this opportunity to meet Jonathan.
“I’d like to meet Mr.
Miller.
Can you tell him Jacob has asked to see him?” He asked, and the man furrowed his brow.
His appearance was not appreciated, but the guard sent the message because the man appeared desperate.
**** Meanwhile, inside the house, in Jonathan’s room, he was busy reading some paperwork and evaluating them for signatures when the butler arrived and announced someone’s presence.
“Master, Mister Jacob requests to meet you.” The mere mention of the name caused Jonathan to pause in his activities, and after a little delay, he granted permission to send him in.

Jonathan used his walker to get to the living area, where Jacob was already waiting for him.
It was astonishing to see the guy who cursed him to never see his face again standing inside his house, right in front of him.
“What brought you here, Jacob?
Aren’t you too daring to enter my house and attack me directly?” He taunted, leading Jacob to hang his head in shame.
He regretted being harsh enough to consider killing someone.
But the objective was not to murder him, but to threaten him, which he accomplished by slamming his car into the divider.
However, the flip was an unexpected event, and he was relieved that nothing serious had occurred to him.
“I am not here to hurt you,” Jacob said, taking his words into mind.
True, he was not there to fight, curse, or kill him.
“Then what are you here for?” Jonathan inquired, his brow raised in recognition of Jacob’s obedience.
Jacob fumbled, chewing his lips with anxiousness.
He did come here intending to seek assistance, but those words now hung in his throat. He felt embarrassed about all he had done and was willing to apologize, but he needed his help right away because his life was in jeopardy.
He needs to get out of it.
“Jonathan, I know I’ve harmed and cursed you.
Whatever I did cannot be forgiven, but please give me the opportunity to make amends.
Will you still give me the job?” he questioned, looking straight up at him.
Jonathan was moved, but he remained unconcerned, though the muscle on his face twitched and his eyes widened when Jacob kneeled before him.
“I desperately need a job or they’ll kill me.
I do not want to die.
I want to live and repent for my wrongdoing,” he begged.
Jacob had been a scumbag, causing harm to those who genuinely cared about him.
However, he ignored them due to his thick mentality, which never allowed him to think beyond their generosity.
He had known Jonathan since they teamed up to launch a firm.
They’ve been together while expanding their business as partners.
But the popularity quickly got to him, and he ended up doing things he shouldn’t have.
It was his irresponsibility that got him into problems, and despite Jonathan saving his ass several times, he refused to change.
He had always been a kind friend and brother who helped him from the start, trusting him with everything they built together, but what he did.
He deceived him, which is where he went wrong.
Despite being forgiven numerous times, he continued to act ignorant until water rose above his head and he completely drowned in the ruins.
But now he realizes how mistaken he was to believe Jonathan was an adversary.
He recognized that even though he was against him, he still spared him.
A long pause fell between the two, leaving Jonathan both shocked and curious about whether he could trust Jacob this time.
He had known him before, but the few years of separation had left him apprehensive of him.
He just tolerated him out of respect for Susan.
“I will help you, but on one condition only if you tell me how much do you know about the man you worked for.” Jacob contemplated, but the unwavering look in Jonathan’s eyes made him gulp. “Nothing,” he replied, and Jonathan laughed.
“You worked for a man you did not know.
That is absurd.” Jonathan refuses to believe that Jacob didn’t know who he was working for.
Was he so shameless that he went so low for money that he didn’t think twice before attempting to kill?
How come his hand never trembled?
How did he never feel fear of doing something evil?
