Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 245
Chapter 245: Rumors about Willow Chapter 245: Rumors about Willow As Jonathan began to notice parallels between the two designs in front of him, a sense of unease pervaded the workplace.
“How is this possible, Mark.
The designs are the same,” he whispered, his attention darting to his assistant, who, too, appeared concerned about the similarities.
“Someone stole designs, and we are only now discovering them, now.
Is this an office or a playing field?
Confidential documents are exchanged without our knowledge, and this is what we have to face in return.” Jonathan lost control as he smashed his fist on the table, yanking the designs away.
Mark shivered as his enraged boss spoke in a loud tone.
“We’re attempting to find out the truth, Boss.
We will soon find out what went wrong and how they managed to take our work.” Jonathan shook his head with dismay.
Only a few days away from work, and such a massive blunder occurred during his absence.
They were intended to give such designs as input to bang the project, but they have now been passed on to another team, who claim to have designed it first.
Are you kidding me?
“I need everything within one hour, Mark.
“We can’t lose this project because of a petty issue,” Jonathan remarked before firing Mark.
Jonathan leaned on his chair, heaved a deep breath, and closed his eyes.
Jedrick’s remarks swirled through his mind, and he couldn’t help but wonder if he had hidden any spies inside the company; otherwise, how could his company have the same design as them?
As he continued to think about the disaster, only one person came to mind.
‘Jacob’ He couldn’t help but suspect him, knowing that he had previously been associated with Jedrick.
Jolting up, he instantly called and inquired about Jacob’s details since the day he joined the company, and the reports were delivered to him within minutes.
“So, he has been sincere throughout, but who is the one swapping confidential details with Jedrick?” Jonathan mused now that his skepticism about Jacob had been dispelled.
Some odd actions were going about during his absence, and Jedrick took advantage of them.
But the question was how and who he planted within the company.
****Â Meanwhile, at Winston International, Gabriel was informed of the news that had spread like wildfire in the business world.
Jonathan Miller is accused of stealing designs and claiming ownership while they were obviously presented by the other company.
“What is going on?
How can Uncle Jonathan be accused of something he couldn’t even imagine doing?” he whispered, despairing.
Something was wrong, but he should be able to clear this up soon.
Knock!
Knock!
“May I come in, Boss?” Leon entered after receiving the permission and presented Gabriel with the information he requested.

“Here are some proposal’s sent from the Willow groups however they were rejected by the former Boss declaring they won’t be working with them for life” according to Leon.
Leon, the son of his father’s assistant, entered the company only a year ago and has now been demoted to his assistant’s position.
Gabriel examined the paperwork and nodded, indicating understanding.
“Any particular reason why they were blacklisted?” Gabriel inquired.
“Yes.
They lost the most of their contacts after becoming involved in some miscellaneous crime.
It is still unclear what went wrong with everyone disowning them, but they are still able to maintain their economic position.
Gabriel frowned when he heard him and shifted his focus from the document to Leon.
“Who is funding them, if they hardly get projects to lead a firm?” Gabriel inquired, finding everything unusual.
Leon cleared his throat and gave Gabriel a hesitant look.
“The rumors were that they were involved with underworld, and that the person they are close to is providing them to lead the firm for so long” according to him.
Gabriel’s countenance became stern, and he nodded in agreement.
“Good, but let’s not do what everyone else does.
Now that I’m in charge, let’s say I’ll seek for good proposals rather than the chatter behind the bacK.” Gabriel stated, perplexing Leon for a few seconds, but his boss’s words quickly became clear to him.
“Let us proceed with their current idea.
Set a date or a meeting and keep me informed,” Gabriel excused Leon.
The Willow family was as skeptical as the Millers.
Now that he is aware of their agreement from those days, which was motivated by their daughter’s selfish action, it is reasonable to believe that they intended to do when they resolved their marriage.
But the main question was whether Kaden was too entangled with them, and if so, why is he working for the forces.
There were many things they were unfamiliar with, but with this tiny investment, he would be able to discover what lies beneath their genuine faces.
Ding!
The message appears on his phone, and his racing thoughts come to an abrupt end.
It’s Eveline, and just hearing her name relieves all of his problems, leading to a contagious smile as he opens the text and reads it.
“Can I come to meet you?
It’s urgent,” she replied, causing Gabriel to frown.
He was only recently notified of Eveline’s safe exit from the house by one of his guys, but she now wishes to meet with him.
And what’s with the urgent word?
He immediately texted her back and invited her to come, to which she responded with a thumbs up emoji.
Twenty minutes later, the door to his room opens, and Eveline steps in.
“I hope my presence did not disturb you,” she murmured quickly, approaching his desk and taking the chair in front of him.
“No, but your word did raise my concerns.
What critical subject did you have to discuss that you couldn’t talk to me on the phone and needed to come here?” “What’s happening with Dad?
Why is he accused of stealing designs?” Eveline’s remarks caused Gabriel to straighten up.
He had no idea Eveline would learn about the latest developments involving her father.
“Don’t worry.
Uncle Jonathan will not let this accusation go unanswered,” he said, and she calmed slightly.
“Is this the only reason why you are here or…
you were missing me?” Gabriel inquired, leaning forward and casting a mischievous gaze at her.
Eveline held his gaze and murmured, “Mom knew she was going to die” Her comments removed the glimmer of enjoyment from his eyes, and his countenance darkened the next minute.
