[Evening] “Oh my little boy, I forgot you even existed” Stefan dramatically pulled Daniel for a hug and patted his back, making him whine in pain.

Gabriel noticed the sneaky look and smiled from the side.He recalled how she spiked their drinks during the camping just because she wanted to give a little push to Gracey.

As the evening continued, Daniel and Gracey had to leave abruptly due to some work, while the others continued to stay back.

“Uncle Kaden contaced me again.

He wishes to meet me” Eveline announced seizing everyone’s attention.

Stefan noticed Gabriel resistence.

“I think she is right, you should meet him” he said giving a assuring look at Gabriel.

“I wonder what made him reach out to me so soon, but I guess it’s related to dad.

He was there in the same hotel yet we couldn’t meet him” she disclosed.

“What was he doing there?” Stefan asked.

“He is keeping an eye on Uncle Jonathan and it makes me curious as to why?

What made him follow here- ” he paused when suddenly an idea striked his mind.

“Don’t tell the mission he is working on is related to Uncle Jonathan?” Gabriel snapped.

“You surely are getting smart under my supervision, however there is more to him keeping a tab on Dad ” Eveline stated.

She indeed came across the same conclusion as Gabriel on their way to Ella’s house, but then she realized of her father was out of town then why was Kaden still here?

“Do you think he stayed behind because he feels that Dad isn’t being truthful despite what he presented before us” Eveline querred.

“Or maybe, he didn’t leave and is still staying at the hotel” it was Stefan this time.

Both Eveline and Gabriel looked at him in surprised.

Eviline quickly pulled out her phone and traced her father’s number and to her surprised it haven’t been moving at but stuck in the same spot.

“How is that possible?” She muttered before shoving the phone screen towards them.

“It’s fixed” she snapped.

Gabriel’s expression harden.

” He tricked us” he said gritting through his teeth.

Eveline leaned back on the couch in disbelief.

She just got tricked by her father, yet again.

“But why he is lying?

Is there someone he is trying to hide from us?” Stefan asked.

Jonathan lies were now shaking their trust over him.

He had never been the one to plot, then why this deceiving.

What was he getting doing that?

“Try contacting Kaden.

You said he warned you against your father.

It only indicates that he knows something we don’t.” Gabriel stated.

Eveline clenched her jaw.

She was confident with whatever Gabriel said was true and now she just couldn’t wait to know what it was.

She quickly proceeded to call Kaden and to her surprise he answered right away.

“Uncle, it’s Eveline here.

I want to meet you, now” she said, her eyes scrutinizing at the sound of her words that created tension around the people sitting there.

They were supposed to have a pleasant time together, but one conversation and everything took a U-turn.

Moreover it’s just a meeting and nothing more ” Stefan assured.

Ella was doubtful though but she anyways nodded hopping Stefan’s claim to be truthful.

Ella walked around the couch and settled next to Stefan.

“Mom will be here by tomorrow morning ” she said disclosing the update regarding her mother’s visit.

Stefan glanced at Ella’s worried face and caressed her cheek with his knuckles.

“Do not bother so much.

Everything will be fine” he said and she took a deep breath.

Ella leaned closed to her and hugged him with her head resting on his shoulder.

“I don’t know how am I supposed to talk with her” she said still contemplating over her decision of confronting her mother.

Stefan heard her silently before deciding to speak up.

“Ella there is something I have found out about your mother” he said causing her to abruptly pull back and look at him in surprise.

“I am sorry that I looked everything behind your back and without your consent, but I just couldn’t see you depressed.

Don’t be upset” he said holding her hands.

Ella blinked, his words sinking in.

“Why would I be upset?

Was I the one to said I want find my father” she said washing away the tension in his heart and he smiled.

“What did you find?” She asked and Stefan took a moment to gather his thoughts and told her everything she desired.

“We doubt that your mother and Jedrick knew each other, however there is any concrete proof” he said doubtfully.

Ella fell silent pondering over his words.

She had no recollection of her mother past except for the fact that she did fund her own education by doing multiple jobs.

However surving as a waitress in a bar was something she never expected.

Did her mother struggle to meet ends that she didn’t mind whatever the job was.

“For that we can only rely on aunt Michelle” he said.

Michelle was anyway going to visit them and she was going to confront her, so it wasn’t a big deal to wait for a day to confirm their doubt.

“You should’ve changed into a decent attire.

Gabriel too realized the severity of the situation and asked her to wait for him.

Eveline watched Gabriel disappeared from her sight, leaving her wondering where he went.

However she did dwell much and looked around trying to find Kaden when.

“Excuse me, are you waiting for someone” Eveline shot her eyes at the man standing next to her.

Her lips parted in disbelief and her eyes observing the disguise.

Eveline was just a second away from responding to him when a hand grabbed his nape and pinned him down.

“Who are you!” Eveline eyes balled out from her socket seeing Gabriel complete in a different look, however the groaning of the man who he held down, snapped her out from her stupor and she started hitting Gabriel instead.

“Gabriel leave.

Its uncle Kaden!” She shouted leaving Gabriel dumbstruck.

He instantly let go of the man and took a step back.

“God…why does this kid have the habit of pinning me”Kaden snarled, pissed by Gabriel unnecessary defensive mode.

But then he realized with the disguise he got himself into, no one will every be able to recognise him.

However Eveline she did, which was indeed remarkable.
