Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 295
Chapter 295: This house is ours.
Yours and mine Chapter 295: This house is ours.
Yours and mine Aacho!
“Bless you,” Gabriel chuckled as she scrunched her nose.
This was her eleventh sneeze in two minutes, and the impact turned her entire face crimson.
“Who the hell is cursing me?” she groaned, wiping her nose.
Eveline meant to spend time at home, but Gabriel invited her to join him, and now they’re driving somewhere she has no idea about.
“No one is cursing you; they are missing you, and tell me who else is missing you besides me.” Gabriel pinched his brow, jealous of his own thoughts.
Eveline’s lips twitched, and she wanted to hit him in the face for coming up with such a ridiculous idea.
He began it, and now he’s envious of someone who has no idea that misses her.
“You’re not the only one who loves me.
I have mom, dad, aunt Belle, and uncle Richard.
“Okay, I understand.
Everyone is missing you at the same time, but I should be the first,” Gabriel asserted, bringing the disagreement to an end.
Eveline could only stare at him in bewilderment.
“Are you sure you are that same grumpy Gabriel who would hate everything I did.”Eveline questioned, her eyes squinting slightly.
“You know, I’ve never really hated anything you did.” Gabriel clarified, “I just didn’t react,” and she nodded in agreement.
“But, still, I prefer that old Gabriel to this one, who has the audacity to wreck my nerves,” she screamed, leaving him stunned.
Gabriel stole a glimpse at her enraged expression and resumed driving.
Eveline was irritated by the sneeze, which he added to his foolishness.
She averted her gaze when he finally decided to concentrate on the road rather than talking nonsense, but something clicked in her head and she remained seated.
How could she forget where this road led her?
But she had no idea why Gabriel was driving them there.
Gabriel noticed Eveline had suddenly become quiet, and he understood he had made the proper decision to bring her here.
Their car drove down a dark path, eventually arriving at a penthouse.
Eveline held her breath as their automobile slowly approached the property, clutching her palms together nervously.
It was a location Gabriel brought after their marriage, but he never took her here.
Their marriage was in such tatters that it never truly worked, and when she found out about this facility, all she remembered was him bringing Tiffany there.
She remembered seeing them together once and following them to confirm her worries.
She was heartbroken and left the place right away.

‘But why would he bring me here now, and how did he-‘ Eveline paused her thoughts as she heard a knock on the window, only to see Gabriel waiting for her outside.
Eveline gazed at him anxiously, her chest bulging from a lack of oxygen, but she didn’t wait long before stepping outside.
Gabriel observed her pale face and slowly stretched out to grab her chilly hand.
“Come,” he urged, pecking the back of her hand before they entered the home.
Eveline was astonished to see the identical interior as before.
However, there was this lingering memory that refused to leave my mind.
“You know, I bought this house after we married, but I never brought you here,” Gabriel said, as Eveline exhaled a trembling breath.
“I understand,” she muttered.
Gabriel saw her slowly release her hand from his grip and look around.
“And I know who you brought here.
Tiffany’s right.” Despite Gabriel’s clarification that he had never slept with Tiffany in the past, she could not get rid of the idea of her being the one who had come to this spot.
Gabriel felt a pinch in his heart.
Her words sliced through his chest like a knife.
“I never let her come inside Eve.
I never let her dirty feet set in this house,” Eve said, staring at him.
“But I saw you walk into the gates together.” “You might have, but I did not let her in.
This house was ours, yours and mine.
So, how can I allow another woman come to our paradise?
Gabriel regretted everything he did back then, but the one thing he regretted the most was not bringing Eveline to this house, which he had brought for their first anniversary.
He intended to forgive her, hoping to give their marriage a shot, but that possibility was shattered when Eveline failed to prove herself.
He remembered her doing her best back then, but every time she failed to prove her innocence, their relationship would restart from the beginning, and he would give up on ever forgiving her.
He admitted that he was pathetic, but he couldn’t find a way to excuse his actions until he lost her.
Gabriel recalls the guard telling him of someone following him, but he didn’t realize it was Eveline until now.
Eveline, on the other hand, stood stationary.
Her mind is absorbing his words.
But as she continued to stare into his eyes, she understood that everything he had said was true.
There was no dishonesty in those grey eyes.
They were honest.
“You have always been the legitimate owner of this place.
The only woman in my heart,” Gabriel whispered, bringing her hand up to his lips and kissing it.
All the painful memories faded in an instant, and she sank beneath his soothing touch.
“Come, let me show you the house,” Gabriel remarked, seeing the difference in her manner.
Eveline nodded, but before they could proceed, she stooped.
“Oh, wait.
But weren’t you going to buy this property after our marriage?” She inquired out of uncertainty.
They had yet to marry; therefore, his purchasing the house so early made no sense.
“Yes, but I couldn’t wait for that day to arrive because I had already married you in my thoughts.
Now, come on, let’s not waste any time.” Without waiting for her response, he escorted her to the house.
It was a two-story penthouse built of glass with a large living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and two guest rooms.
The inside was modest yet attractive, with a touch of softness to the decor.
It was something Eveline had always preferred.
As they began to explore the area, Gabriel led her to a certain room and opened it.
“And this one is for our baby.” Eveline cast her gaze at Gabriel, only to discover the glitter of sadness in his eyes.
“We didn’t get to meet him, but I promise to love him with all my heart,” he remarked, bringing Eveline to tears.
Wrapping her fingers around his arm, she leaned forward, rested her head on his shoulder, and smiled.
“You’ll be the best father,” she replied, and he kissed her on the forehead.
