*** Meanwhile, inside the pub, Eveline eventually caught sight of a guy making his way inside with his pals, and it didn’t take her long to know who it was.

“There he comes,” she murmured, tapping Gracey on the shoulder and pointing her in the direction of the group that made their way through the crowd and upstairs to the VIP section.

Gracey offered her a thoughtful expression.

They had been wasting time all along, only to discover that the person they were looking for had just arrived.

He didn’t appear to be a typical dealer, but rather someone who had been tracked down by those who followed him.

Eveline swiftly grabbed her hand, preparing to follow them, but Gracey stopped her.

She could tell what Eveline was going to do, so she argued to keep her from making a hazardous action.

“Don’t even think of going there without getting a heads-up.” Eveline looked at Gracey.

Her eyes were serious, indicating that she was not thinking of not going there.

“There is no other way to get in there, Gracey.

I thought it was an easy way in, but I forgot that the majority of the people here are from the underworld, and it is difficult for a normal person to get in without getting into their skin.” Eveline stated.

She had overlooked what she had seen previously.

This location was filthy, and most of the individuals came here for evil reasons.

If she had known how terribly she had gotten Gracey embroiled in coming here with her, she would still want to find a way to get her out of this situation.

Gracey had pledged to cooperate with her and not back down simply because their plan failed.

So it would be safe to follow Eveline’s strategy.

She knew they would not go in to see what they were hiding.

Eveline was astonished, but when she saw Gracey take a deep breath, a smile appeared on her lips.

Eveline and Gracey maintained a neutral demeanor, and when they approached the guards, they were stopped.

His gawk-like eye fixed on the two as they shared a gaze.

Eveline and Gracey passed their bags casually, and after he ensured they were safe, he nodded.

The man was aware that the majority of individuals who came here were hunting for drugs, but he remained skeptical after seeing the girls, who did not appear to be high.

Eveline and Gracey were about to depart when we halted.

His eyes surveyed the surroundings, and once he located a safe location to speak, he began to speak.

“Girls, do you hear me?” he questioned again, but neither of them replied.

Daniel pondered why he couldn’t hear them back , soon got connected with Stefan instead.

“Brother Stefan, where are Eveline and Gracey?

They aren’t responding to any of my words,” he inquired urgently.

“They aren’t responding to me either,” Stefan’s sad tone drained Daniel’s blood.

“Did they already get in there?” Daniel inquired.

“I suppose they did, but there is a problem,” Stefan replied.

“The cameras aren’t working upstairs,” they said together, their faces wrinkled as the gravity of the situation became clear to them.

The scent of alcohol and smoke overwhelmed her senses, not to mention the sight of individuals high on narcotics.
