Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 314
Chapter 314: You are her daughter not his Chapter 314: You are her daughter not his Ella woke up with a extreme hangover.
She felt like someone was banging her head on the wall and it made her hard to sit straight.
“Someone please help” she cried out holding her head.
“Here take these medicines” the space of the bed next to her shrunk and she shot her head in Stefan’s direction who passed her the medicine and glass.
Ella contemplated but he pressed her to take them and she silently took it.
Swalling the medicine she gulped a mouthful of water and passed the glass back to Stefan.
It took her sometime to feel better, however throughout the time, she didn’t dare to speak Stefan. She purposely tried to bring up the topic as she was ashamed of herself that she felt oblivious to him.
Stefan on the other hand continued to watch her lean her head on the headboard while she kept her eyes close and calmly breathe.
Last night despite going to bed, Ella woke up once to throw up.
She literally forgot to count the number of drinks she consumed that it all stirred up at once until she rench it out of her system.
She wasn’t even concious to know what was happening, however she continued to slurred things about her childhood and how her mother was the only one whom she had.
Ella kept on apologzing until she fell asleep again and this time for final only to wake up now.
Stefan sighed and reached to caress her head.”Are you feeling better?” he asked for once hoping Ella would speak to him.
Last night had been the most tormented night.
He never saw Ella this helpless that she literally blamed herself for ruining her mother’s life.
She believed to be the bane in her life and if that bastard Jedrick wouldn’t have taken advantage of her, maybe she would have lived a happy life.
Taking a deep breath, Ella opened her eyes and pushed herself to sit straight.
“Hmm, better” she replied short and tossed the comforter off her body and climbed down the bed.
“We need to leave.
I promise mom to return home last night” Ella spoke when suddenly her mind itself got aware of the words she said and her eyes went wide in realization.
She looked around for her bag when Stefan extended the phone in his hand.
“I know, but don’t worry I told her that we have to pospone our return as some issues were to be resolved.
However she asked me to tell you to call her as soon as you got free from work.
So now go and call her” Ella heard him and quickly reached to grab the phone, but soon she recalled Ruby’s words and her hand stopped.
Stefan arched his brow, noticing her contemplation. “What happened?
Don’t you want to call her.
She must be waiting to hear from you” he said pressing on his words.
Ella thought for a second and grabbed the phone.
“We are leaving anyways.
I will talk with her later” she said and turned to leave when Stefan grabbed her arm to stop her.

“Are you going to ignore your mother, because I could tell you are” he asked and she pursed her lips not ready to look at him too.
Her eyes simmered and she blinked it to hold her tears back. “No, I am not, so let go of me” her voice came out in whisper and she yanked her hand off his grip, trying to flee.
But Stefan was too quick and held her once more things make her look at him.
The second he noticed her red eyes, his heart sank.
Stefan felt like someone was choking him and he couldn’t help but leaned forward resting their forehead together.
“Don’t cry Dove.
I feel helpless” he pleaded breaking the last string of resolve in Ella and she ended up crying harder.
Ella cupped his hand over her face and shook her head.
“I can’t forget anything Stefan.
How will I face mom?” she said shaking her head in dismay and pulled back.
“Everytime I will see her it will remind me of her pain and that feeling itself kills me thousand death” she pushed herself away from him, but he kept her intact wrapping his hand around her waist.
“No Dove.
Never talk about death.
Think about me, think about Mischelle.
Did she sruvived you to see you end your life like this” Stefan voice grew heavy as he felt the lump in his throat the second she spoke about death.
Last night she too mentioned the same and the mere thought of her not being in his life made him suffocate.
“I am not that strong Stefan.
I tried…
I swear I tried for you for us, but everytime a chapter of my is opened, I feel like I don’t deserve it.
She endure so much Stefan.
Her youth, her dreams, her soul, for what, to bring the child of that man who left with nothing but a shattered life.
I can’t Stefan, I won’t be able to see in her eyes now that I know how I was brought to life” Ella broke down, as they both fell on their knees with her crying her heart out and Stefan hugging her.
He never felt so helpless, not when Ella told him that they weren’t meant to be.
He was confident that his love for her would make her erase all her insecurity, but this pain…
which Jedrick inflicted on her without even him knowing it was unbearbale.
“Listen to me Dove.
You cannot give up” Stefan brushed all the negatively off his mind and made her look at him.
“You said your mom’s loves you.
But have you ever realized how badly her heart will break if you say such things to her.
She fought all the odds to give birth to you, not for you to doubt yourself.
She didn’t raise you this big to see you curse your life.
She loves you Ella, from her heart which is why she only considered you as her daughter and not the child of that man.
You are her daughter not his” Stefan said trying to make sense to his overflowing emotions that she managed to stir with her dreadful words.
Ella stared at Stefan helplessly.
Her mind slowly getting cleared of those foggy thoughts that were stopping her to think straight.
‘How can she be so selfish to even think like that?
How can she thinks of ending her life when she knew there were people who loved her dearly for who she was’ As if a wave washed through her heart cleaning away all her insecure feeling, she finally realised how wrong she was to think that way.
Ashamed she shook her head and wrapped her arms around Stefan’s neck drawing him for a tight hug.
“I am sorry.
Please don’t cry” It was then Stefan realized he had been silently weeping even without realizing.
“I won’t talk about death from now.
That word doesn’t exists in my dectionary, I promise.
But please Stefan don’t cry, my heart hurts” Stefan left out a chuckle finally able to see his old Ella back.
He liked it that way where she would be like an open book and not the way around.
Ella pouted watching him smile, and she slowly reached out to wipe his tears away.
“How will I live without you Dove.
This life is meaningless if there’s not you in it” he said continuing to smile.
Ella heart shrunk as his words hit like a slap to her little mind.
How can she think of leaving him alone…
“I am sorry Stefan, please believe me.
I just got swayed by my overwhelming emotions” she assured while taking a deep breath.
Convincing Ella was a difficult task, but Stefan somehow managed to do so. As the couple continued to stick together for a couple of minutes more, a phone call abrupt their moment.
“It’s Mischelle” Stefan said staring at the caller’s name.
“She said she tried calling you last night, but you phone was off, so maybe she called me instead like she did yesterday” he explained sharing a concerning look with Ella.
Ella felt like her lungs were slowly filling with water.
She needed time to muster the courage.
But knowing that she failed to call her mother last night, it would appear suspicious if she doesn’t answer this one.
With a deep breath, Ella grabbed the phone from Stefan’s hand and stood up.
Stefan too followed her actions and watched her answer the call.
“H-hello Mom?” Ella stuttered in her speech, her eyes cautiously staring at Stefan who nodded at her in assurance.
“Ella, why haven’t you call me.
I was waiting to hear from you.” Mischelle’s voice made Ella’s eyes sting with tears, however she blinked them off and smiled.
“I am sorry Mom.
We have been been busy work and it went for quiet sometime.
I was about to call you now, but instead you-” “Are you sure you both have been out for business work, because as far as I learned from Mrs.
Hayes, she said there’s no such kind of meeting that required your travelling” CREATORS’ THOUGHTS akshaya_vanne The chapter is unedited.
