Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 333
Chapter 333: How can I help you Chapter 333: How can I help you Kaden pulled over by the curbs and walked into the Cafe Canteen to get a cappuccino for him.
As he approached the counter to place his order, he noticed a familiar face.
“Sherlyn, is that you?” The woman paused and looked to the side.
Her eyes widened in awareness.
“Kaden Willow, you’d better be kidding me.
How could we have met in a coffee shop of all places in the world?
Sherlyn instinctively stretched out to hug him.
“It’s strange, yet I believe fate has finally brought us together.” Seeing his college friend after so many years startled Kaden, but what truly amazed him was that she lived in the same city as him.
“That’s right.” The two made their way to the table and sat across from one another on their chairs.
“So, how come you’re here?
Shouldn’t you be on a quest for something?” she teased, making Kaden smile.
“I thought you’d forget,” he said, looking down meekly.
“You know it’s impossible, Kaden.
I know we lost touch after graduation, but I kept up with the latest news about you and your family.” Her smile faded as her eyes clouded with remorse.
“And I’m sorry for your sister,” she replied, prompting Kaden to quickly reject her condolence.
“Please don’t be alarmed, as my sister is perfectly fine and healthy.” Sherlyn tilted her head slightly, peering at Kaden in surprise.
“But the news said she died.” “Oh, there was a misunderstanding, which I’ll explain later.
However, you have not yet responded to my question.
What are you doing here?” he asked, changing the subject.
Sherlyn brushed off her earlier thoughts and smiled.
“I have my clinic here,” she announced confidently.
“So Miss Sherlyn Norman is finally a psychiatrist,” he continued, happy about her accomplishments.
Sherlyn and Kaden were not classmates, but they did attend the same institution and pursued different courses.
They met through a common friend and immediately clicked.
However, Sherlyn’s feelings for Kaden grew as a result of their friendship.
But, being the cowardly girl she was, she never revealed such thoughts since she knew Kaden had an ambition to enter the army and help the country.
The server interrupted her thoughts and gave her a faint smile.
“I understand, yet you seem so different.
You look mature,” she said quietly, looking down to hide her blush.
Kaden couldn’t help smiling.”You’re still the same shy girl you were when we first met.” Do you treat your patients with a blush on your face?” She stared at him in surprise as he taunted her.

“Kaden!” she started to chastise him, but halted when he laughed back.
The two continued to converse while sipping their coffees.
“I hope you’re around.
Let’s meet up this weekend,” Sherlyn said as they made their way out of the shop.
Kaden paused for a second before agreeing with her.
“And by the way, this is my number.
I hope we keep in touch for a long time.” Kaden took the card and hurriedly saved the number before pressing the call button.
“And that’s me,” he replied.
Kaden rarely shared his personal phone number, but Sherlyn was an exception.
“I hope this number won’t get unavailable,” she joked, storing it.
“I think I should leave.
I have an appointment,” Sherlyn remembered, her legs moving on the opposite side of the walkway before abruptly stopping.
“By the way, the building over there is my office.
Feel free to check in if you ever want to talk, and you now have my phone number,” she continued, watching him nod before they parted ways.
Another car followed Kaden from there, making a turn into the building parking lot.
Erna and Susan stepped out and went to the elevator.
Susan was about to hit the tenth-floor button when she heard a scream from outside.
“Hold the lift, please,” Sherlyn hurried toward them, with Susan quickly blocking the door from closing and watching Sherlyn enter.
“Thank you,” Sherlyn said nicely to Susan before pressing the tenth-floor button.
When Susan noticed that the girl was also heading to the same floor, she stopped pressing the button, and they soon arrived.
Sherlyn walked out first, followed by Susan and Erna.
They headed to reception, where they scheduled their appointment and awaited the call.
Erna felt nervous.
She lied to Jonathan about going shopping with Susan, which made her feel guilty.
The receptionist quickly said, “Mrs.
Erna.
You can go first,” she remarked, and both ladies entered the doctor’s office.
“Oh, you both again.” Sherlyn’s voice echoed from the table, bringing Erna and Susan to a halt.
The girl they had treated earlier turned out to be the doctor.
“Dr.
Sherlyn Norman,” Erna replied with skepticism, watching the woman nod.
“Yes, that is me.
Please have a seat,” Sherlyn said sweetly, and the two slipped into the chair across from her.
Erna chose to consult outside of their circle in order to keep things hidden from Jonathan.
She was aware that her husband would have immediately found out if she had scheduled a meeting with their family doctor.
“So Miss Erna,” she said, looking between the two ladies with skepticism before Erna pointed to herself and her gaze fixed on her.
“How can I help you?” she inquired.
Erna glanced at Susan, then turned to Shyerlyn and spoke.
….
“I don’t think we can proceed unless I am confident about your mental health.” Sherlyn took a big breath and leaned into her chair, staring at Erna.
She said, “Hypnosis requires a strong mindset, and unless I am certain you are eligible for it, I can’t opt for it.” “But I don’t have time, Doctor.
I need to do it as soon as possible,” Erna insisted.
Sherlyn could see the desperation, but she was bound by medical guidelines that involved the patient’s health.
“I am sorry, but I can’t,” Sherlyn apologized, leaving Erna with no choice except to wait and complete the surgery.
“Okay, if you say so, I am ready for the test,” Erna stated, consenting to Sherlyn’s demand.
“Then let’s proceed,” she replied, clarifying to Erna and Susan that they needed to undergo several tests before preparing for the male process.
After the check-up, Erna and Susan left, while Sherlyn stayed behind to consider her proposal.
She didn’t know who the lady was, but the desperation in her words made her reflect on her problems, and for that reason, she was willing to help.
