Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 334
Chapter 334: I know everything Chapter 334: I know everything Later that evening, after Ella returned home from work, Mischelle and she had dinner together.
It was still too early for them to go to bed, so Ella decided to prepare the utensils and join her mother on their small balcony.
“Mom, do you remember the day I called you to see if you were okay?” Ella asked, her gaze darting to the side.
“Hmm,” Mischelle hummed as she turned around and leaned her back against the railing, her gaze fixated on Ella.
“Actually, the call was not to check on you.
It was for confirming something” she whispered quietly.
Mischelle’s face was frowning with perplexity as she regarded her daughter skeptically.
“Confirmation?” she questioned, still unable to understand what the talk was about.
“Yes, confirmation.
I happened to see someone like you on Billord Streets, so I called to confirm my suspicion,” she explained as she saw the color fade from her mother’s cheeks.
The mere mention of the street made her heart race, and she fumbled.
“I know you lied to me, Mom.
“You weren’t at home, because you were there at the Billord street” Ella said, leaving Mischelle startled.
“I-I don’t know what you are talking Ella” Mischelle felt the panic creeping in and resisted accepting her claim.
“You know I am not and I also know for whom you were there” Ella didn’t stop, continuing to state the facts in front of her mother to prove her argument.
She noted how terrified Mischelle appeared when her lie was revealed, but it was necessary to prevent her from taking any reckless steps.
“You don’t have to worry, mom, because I know everything,” Miscelle’s sanity crumbled the second she heard Ella’s words.
“W-what do you mean?” she inquired, despite the fact that reality was gradually sinking in.
Ella noticed Mischelle’s eyes become red and her shoulders trembling with anxiety.
Her breathing laboured as her fears surfaced.
Ella moved closer to her mother and held her hand.
“Mom, I know who my biological father is and how…I was brought into this world” Mischelle remained motionless as a single tear fell from her eyes, followed by many.
Her lips parted in amazement as she glanced at her daughter with an emotion she recognized.
Ella couldn’t bear to watch her mother broken and hugged her immediately.
She knew the news would upset her, but she needed to know she’d find it sometime.
Mischelle burst into tears as the warmth of Ella’s body enveloped her.
She had no idea how she was going to confront her daughter as her past flooded her mind like a tsunami, removing all sanity from her head.
The fear of being judged drove her to push Ella brutally.
“Do you hate me?” she said, leaving Ella stunned.
“Do you think I’m dirty and blame yourself for having bad blood?” Mischelle wanted to know how her daughter felt when she discovered her mother had been raped and she was the result of that act.

“Tell me, Ella, do you think I am not a good mother or see yourself into a bad light now that you know the truth” she prompted.
Every word Mischelle said seemed like a knife slicing into her heart.
The way she was misinterpreting everything and condemning herself with those words made her stomach turn.
“No, mom.
Please do not say that!” Ella grabbed her shoulder and shook her forcefully.
“You are an amazing mother, and I am proud to be your daughter.
Do you hear me, Mom.
Neither you nor I have bad blood,” Ella burst into sobs, unable to hold herself together while her mother was in anguish.
How could she possibly speak those words for her….
It was not her fault that she had been taken advantage of.
It wasn’t her fault that her friend betrayed her, or that she had her.
She was a victim, so how come she blamed herself for it?
Mischelle was still stunned by Ella’s outburst, but the tears in her eyes shattered her heart, and she drew her into her arms, clutching her life protectively.
“You’re my daughter. You are only my daughter,” she repeated, as if it were a chant she wanted Ella to hear.
Ella and Mischelle both calmed down after their emotional breakdowns and returned home.
She sat down next to Mischelle on the couch, passing her a glass of water.
“You should have told me that he contacted you, Mom,” Ella remarked as Mischelle paused.
She exchanged a sidelong glance with her before setting the glass on the table.
“I felt afraid.
I didn’t know you knew everything.
Furthermore, when I heard his voice after such a long time, everything seemed to freeze for me.
It was smothering,” she stated, expressing all of her emotions at the time.
How her heart was pounding and how she let her fears to take over her head.
“I’m glad you changed your mind, but Mom,” she paused, holding Michelle’s hand, “Jedrick still wants to meet you.” Michelle remained silent as the memories of his visit from yesterday entered her mind.
“I know why he came here,” she murmured quietly.
Ella shakes her head.”No, Mom, he didn’t come looking for you,” she said, her brow furrowing.
“It wasn’t him?” Michelle inquired in confusion.
“Yes, Mom, Jedrick didn’t come seeking for you yesterday.
Instead, he sent someone to deliver you that envelope,” Ella revealed.
Michelle had it all wrong.
She assumed the guard was referring to Jedrick and refused to meet with him out of fear.
But it turned out he wasn’t the one, and she had misinterpreted someone else to him.
Something snapped in her head, and she rushed to her room.
After a few seconds, she stepped out, holding the envelope, and returned to her seat.
With a glance at Ella, she opened the envelope and read the letter.
“Is this how you found out everything?” Mischelle remarked, throwing her horrified gaze at Ella.
Everything now made sense to her.
“I didn’t check on you last night.
Ella rubbed her head uneasily, taking a glimpse at her mother’s absolutely surprised expression.
Soon, her expression contorted, and she pulled her ear.
“You are turning naughty Ella” “Ouch, Mom, that hurts” Ella thought.
Mischelle hardly twisted her ear to cause her to overreact in that way. Ella and Mischelle exchanged glances before bursting out laughing.
“I can see how Stefan’s presence in your life has transformed you.
My ever-obedient Ella is becoming mischievous.
Not bad, though.” Mischelle was unconcerned about anything except her daughter was pleased.
“So, is this how you discovered that I lied to you?” Mischelle inquired as she read the letter in which Jedrick stated their previous meet-up location, which she was unable to enter.
“Hmm, and now I want you to go and meet him this time,” she said unexpectedly, stealing Mischelle’s smile.
“You want me to meet him?” she inquired, unsure of Ella’s intentions.
“Yes” Ella noticed the thoughtfulness in Mischelle’s eyes, but she quickly intervened to explain the confusion.
Mischelle was quiet for a while.
Her mind registered her words.
“I-I am not confident,” she murmured, casting her nervous gaze at Ella.
“But we need you to help Mom.
Jedrick has been trying to wreck everyone’s lives, and there is nothing we can do to stop him.
“This is the only way,” Ella insisted.
Mischelle was now aware of the truth about Jedrick.
Throughout this time, she was merely the victim of his lust, but he did not abandon his family.
His craving for power drove him to ruin everyone around him, yet there was no satisfaction.
“I’ll do my best,” Mischelle said after a moment of reflection.
