Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 342
Chapter 342: Why did you lie Chapter 342: Why did you lie Eveline felt Gabriel’s hand creep into her pants, pausing precisely at her clit.
A muffled moan escaped her lips, and she sank her head back, feeling the contact of his fingers.
No matter how many times he pleased her, it wasn’t enough.
Fortunately, they were using protection; otherwise, at this rate, she might have ended up getting pregnant.
“Um…” Eveline chewed on her lips as he began to stroke her, blood racing through her veins and a flood of moisture down her core.
She spilled quickly, as Gabriel quickened his speed.
Thrusting his fingers into her clit, he watched her come undone.
Eveline’s chest heaved up and down in response to the tremendous hit, her breathing labored, and her eyes closed.
Without thinking, she grabbed Gabriel’s neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
She felt light, her mind and emotions at ease, as the outcome was amazing.
Gabriel drew back when she felt limp on him and helped herself to sleep again.
“How do you do that?
It makes me feel needy,” Eveline said tiredly.
“Anything for you, love,” Gabriel leaned in and kissed her cheeks.
He wouldn’t mind if she went down on him, but he also realized this wasn’t the best solution every time she needed a distraction.
Eveline felt her body relax and her eyelids become heavy, and before she knew it, she was in deep sleep.
“What is Mom up to?” she mumbled in her sleep, making Gabriel gaze at her in surprise.
He knew Eveline had a problem with overthinking, and no matter how much she tried to stop him from assisting her, he wasn’t going to stand back and watch his lady suffer.
So, he grabbed his phone from the side table and called Leon, asking him for information on Erna and Susan.
He acknowledged that Erna was undoubtedly concealing something, given her fabrication of the visit to the doctor in regard to Ceceli.
And by the time Eveline faces her mother, she will undoubtedly have lost one or two brain cells.
After being cleared, Gabriel returned to embracing the girl in his arm.
He was concerned about keeping her out of trouble, and even the slightest discomfort on her end made him nervous.
Gabriel had no idea how long he had been admiring sleeping Eve until he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
It was until the sound of his phone woke him up.
Gabriel jolted and snatched the phone, swiftly answering it while his eyes worriedly examined Eveline, who was still sleeping blissfully in his arms.
“Yes, Leon, did you get anything?” he asked in a hardly audible voice.
As Leon provided him with an update, Gabriel’s countenance was frowning deeply.
“Okay, anything else?” he inquired before hanging up.
Gabriel turned to gaze at Eveline.

His eyes were tenderly piercing in her serene expression.
‘Should I inform her that her mother is covertly taking therapies?’ Gabriel knew what Erna was up to, but keeping it hidden from her family was wrong.
Hypnosis has side effects, and what happens if the technique fails?
A defeated sigh emerged from his lips.
Leon stated that Erna carefully weighed all of the doctor’s advice before agreeing.
Then maybe there was nothing to worry about, but withholding it from Eveline wasn’t right.
While Gabriel continued to argue, Eveline moved and gradually opened her eyes.
She looked up with a smile on her face.
“Good morning,” she mumbled, disrupting Gabriel’s train of thinking.
He looked down and smiled.
“Morning” Eveline stirred as she felt uncomfortable, her gaze gradually going down to her legs.
“Damn, we didn’t clean last night, and now I feel filthy,” she sneered, unhappy with herself.
Gabriel pinned Eveline just as she believed she was about to get out of bed.
“Excuse me, who the hell are you calling filthy?” He inquired, gazing deeply into her eyes.
“If those words are for my women, mind it, because I don’t take shit from anyone who calls her that,” he cautioned, causing Eveline to smile.
Eveline could not help but put her arm around his neck.
“Is my man upset?” she inquired, playing along.
“Of course, I do not want you to disparage my girl.
I love her in every way,” he confessed, his comments honest and sincere.
“And, as much as I love you, we can’t end this way.
We both need to freshen up,” Eveline patted his cheek before slipping out of his grasp.
“The first thing I need to do is talk to Mom.
I don’t think I’d be able to go an entire day left hanging,” she expressed her anxieties, prompting Gabriel to close his mouth.
Gabriel watched her enter the bathroom, her words from earlier whirling in his mind.
There was a wide-ranging dispute regarding whether he should tell Eveline about her mother.
But he decided to wait for Eveline to confront her mother and see whether she was willing to tell the truth.
They got ready quickly and joined Jonathan and Erna for breakfast.
“By the way, there is something I need to share with you all,” Jonathan said, capturing everyone’s attention.
He set his tea aside and gazed forward at the eager eyes.
“I’ve decided to go with hypnosis,” he said, prompting Eveline to furrow her brow and look into it.
“For what, Dad?
Is everything okay with you?” Jonathan nodded.
“Yes, everything is fine, but there is something I need to find and for that I have to get into therapy,” he replied thoughtfully.
Despite Eveline’s skepticism, she recalled her father’s discussion about forgetting a persistently bothersome aspect of his life.
And if hypnosis was the only option, he might have been justified in going ahead.
Gabriel, on the other hand, cast a look at Erna, who appeared cautious.
“I have an appointment today.
So I guess this session will help me recover my memories,” he replied, crossing his fingers.
The brunch continued, and Jonathan was among the first to go once finished.
Eveline exchanged looks with Gabriel, who patted her back in accord.
“I’ll be in the car,” he remarked as he left the house, leaving the mother and daughter alone.
Silence fell between the two as Erna felt Eveline’s gaze on her.
“You aren’t leaving for work?” she inquired, attempting to smile.
Erna had been trying to avoid Eveline since yesterday, but now that she decided to stay back, there was no way for escape.
“I will, but before that I wanted to talk with you about the doctor you said you met regarding Grandma’s issue.” Erna’s cheeks drained of blood, and she nodded skeptically.
“What did you want to ask?” Eveline’s gaze shifted to her mother’s expression, mirroring her stiff body language.
But she ignored it all and demanded, “Why did you lie about meeting a doctor for Grandma when she already has a personal pediatrician for herself?” NEW BOOK ALERT Marriage with my daughter’s father: Darling please be gentle
