Rebirth of Billionaire's Wife - Chapter 91
Chapter 91: I love you so much
While observing her silent sob, he muttered, “Susan.”
Yes, Susan did not have a family growing up, so she gave Jacob her all the moment she met him. After years of loneliness, she did not want to lose the one family she had, not even her love and respect.
“Although I know you will not leave him, please stop letting him treat you like this.” Jonathan stated this while considering what she had said.
Jonathan was not in favor of forcing Susan to make decisions against her will, but he was also against her having to bear the suffering Jacob had been causing her for years.
He did not hesitate to accuse her because he had been abusing her generosity to a great extent. into accusing her like that.
Susan nodded while lowering her head and allowing the tears to fall down her cheek.
“He is my friend, but you are my sister, and I will not tolerate him hurting you in front of me,” Jonathan said, causing her tears to well up even more.
“Please take care of yourself and do not worry about the money,” he said, giving Susan a moment to herself before turning to go to his room.

Eveline was eating her sandwich, oblivious to the boy who was infatuated with her, somewhere on the college campus.
“You look like a pufferfish when you eat a sandwich,” Gabriel remarked, causing Eveline to shoot a sharp glance at him before she continued to finish her meal.
She indulged her craving for a sandwich to the hilt and then drank the bottle of water that Gabriel passed her and burped.
“What makes you enjoy sandwiches so much?” he inquired, intently staring at her.
“Because it gives me strength,” she said, turning to fully face him at this point.
“Strength?” he muttered.
“Yeah, the fortitude to combat a man twice my size,” Eveline jeered as she sprayed cuts in his direction.
“Did you turn off my phone the other night?” Eveline asked, ignoring his confusion and diving right to her point.
Gabriel blinks a few times before looking away. He shrugged his shoulder as he felt her gaze on him.
“Did you read Alex’s message and then delete it?” she continued, interpreting his detachment as confirmation.
“Ahem,”
Eveline grabbed onto his chin and forced him to look at her when she realized his tricks to avoid answering her.
“Why?” Boring her eyes into his grey one, Eveline asked, “Who gave you permission to slide into my message box and turn off my phone?”
At times, Gabriel questioned whether Eveline was suffering from amnesia, as she refused to acknowledge his confession to her and persisted in acting uncaring. He was nevertheless adamant about showing her how much he meant to her.
“Because I wanted to,” he said, his words firm and dominant.
Eveline’s lips quivered in response to his outburst, but she swallowed all the anger in the pit of her stomach and inhaled deeply.
These breathing exercises have been helping her relax lately, but this time she was losing her wits because of Gabriel’s constant intervention in her life.
Eveline cried out, finally losing her cool, “Have you promised to ruin my plan even before it takes off”?
Keeping his composure the entire time, Gabriel noticed the color of Eveline’s cheek and said, “I was jealous,” leaving Eveline speechless.
She later scoffed taking in his words with utter disbelief.

“What am I going to do with this man?” she said crying mentally.
Eveline took a moment to gather her thoughts before moving a little closer to Gabriel.
“Listen, you told me to never let him touch me and I agreed, but deleting his text because of your insecurity is too childish. Why are you creating a problem between us?” Eveline asked helplessly.
She was trying to build trust between her and Alex. However, she was skeptical that Alex would discover her true intentions anytime soon if Gabriel continued to act jealous.
Gabriel’s eyes softened at her adorable face and he reached to cup her cheeks.
“Let me handle him my way if you want me to stop interfering with your plan. To expose him, you do not need to gain his trust,” he stated sincerely.
Gabriel’s thumb stroked her skin, his eyes lingering on her lips.
“I have already taken action, and I am confident that it will be sufficient to remove him from the college,” Gabriel leaned in closer to her and whispered.
Eveline knew what was about to happen. But instead of stopping him, she continued to stay still until their lips brushed.
It was like a daily dose she wanted in her life because now she was badly addicted to it.
“The medical champ was your idea?” she asked, her breath fanning his lips.
“Well, but there is more to it that I want to reveal later,” he uttered, slowly parting his lips to nibble on her lower lip.
“Gabriel, we can not kiss here.” she remarked as she observed their surroundings.
The intensity of the situation caused Eveline’s breathing to become laborious and her heart to race erratically inside her chest.
Despite her desire for him, she refrained from kissing him.
“Then let us head somewhere,” he said, meeting her gaze.
He could not resist kissing her until he left her speechless, all the while enjoying the sight of her anxious face.
“No.” Eveline bit her lips and quickly pushed herself back, causing Gabriel to furrow.
As he opened his mouth to speak, a sudden phone call diverted his attention and caused him to move away from her.
Eveline cupped her cheeks to absorb the warmth that was falling on them, and then her gaze strayed to the man who had just happened to kiss her, leaving her thoughts muddled.
Just the sight of his back was making her want to run to him and devour his mouth like a starving person.
“Just the kiss from him is making you crazy. What will happen when-” she couldn’t finish when suddenly the memory from the past crossed her mind.
A wave of nostalgia swept over her mind as she heard, “I love you so much, Eve.”
and her eyes instantly darted towards Gabriel.
