Chapter 222: Chapter219-Master, They Took My Bunny Palace!
“Heavens!”
“Am I hallucinating?”
“What’s with this group? They’re all wearing the same fortress uniform. Are they from the same fortress?”
“Since when did Chaos City Passes become so common? A whole fortress squad can enter together now?”
“Say no more. These fortress people are absolutely insane—they even brought a rabbit!”
“Gods above! A Chaos City Pass, wasted… on a freaking rabbit! What were they thinking?!”
Velen and the rest of the fortress squad appeared on one of the bustling streets of Chaos City, instantly becoming the center of attention.
Soon, the group of seventeen humans and two spellbeasts split among five mana cars, heading straight for the most luxurious foot spa nearby.
“What are you staring at?”
“Never seen such a dashing spellbeast rabbit before?”
Sitting in the front passenger seat, the bunny caught the mana car driver sneaking glances at it with an odd expression and immediately felt annoyed.
“Master Rabbit, I’ve been driving mana cars in Chaos City for nearly ten years, but this is the first time I’ve had such an esteemed guest!”
“So I couldn’t help but look a few extra times!”
The driver seemed nervous as he quickly explained himself, even addressing the bunny as “Master Rabbit.”
After all, he’d just swiped Velen’s Chaos City universal card.
The string of zeros on that balance… yeah, that was someone far beyond his league.
In Chaos City, money was power—even if you were just a rabbit.
A short while later…
Led by Velen, the entire group entered an upscale, grand-looking foot spa.
“What?”
“You only have three Ascended-Rank massage therapists in your entire establishment?”
Velen’s expression darkened when he heard the manager’s words.
“Only three? And you dare call this a top-tier foot spa?”
This was unacceptable—it meant Velen couldn’t properly squander wealth!
“Your Highness, we can request backup from our other branches, but they won’t make it here in time… at least not within half a day!”
The manager, sensing Velen’s displeasure, hurried to explain, nearly trembling.
He was just an employee—if he offended someone like Velen, a single word from this man could cost him his job.
No explanation needed—wealth alone gave him that right.
If you failed to satisfy him, he could pay to have you replaced. Simple as that.

“Forget it. We’ll make do,” Velen sighed, waving his hand.
“But the rest of your massage therapists better all be peak Ascended Rank!”
He didn’t want to make things too hard for the poor manager.
“Absolutely! We’ll arrange it right away, Your Highness!”
The manager let out a deep breath of relief and ran off to make preparations.
Three Ascended-Rank massage therapists!
One for Velen.
One for Anastasia.
And… one for the bunny.
The rest of the group could only lie down on their massage chairs with a sigh, fully aware they wouldn’t get the same level of treatment.
“Sigh…”
“Just think—me, Apollo of the Upper Plane Universe, now living worse than a bunny, enjoying less luxury than a bunny… If word of this gets out, who in the Upper Plane Universe would even believe it?”
Apollo, lying at the end of the row of massage chairs, sighed with utter resignation.
Before long, nineteen massage therapists entered the room.
One of the Ascended-Rank therapists, upon seeing her assigned client was a spellbeast rabbit, stood there completely stunned.
Meanwhile, those who hadn’t yet reached Ascended Rank felt as if they were dreaming—the idea of nearly-Ascended powerhouses giving them foot massages was surreal.
That afternoon turned out to be one of the most blissful moments of their lives.
As the Chaos City Passes expired, Spatial Rifts opened behind each of them.
Velen tossed a Spatial Portal Token to everyone.
That way, no matter where they were teleported after leaving Chaos City, they could instantly return to the fortress with their token.
Back at the Fortress
Velen returned first.
“The five knight commanders of the Uno Kingdom are still sparring. Want to go play with them for a bit?”
Velen turned to the red-haired man with one eye and the lollipop-eating little girl, smiling as he extended the invitation.
Both of them lit up with interest.
“Go on—have fun!”
“I need to get some sleep. What a packed day!”
With that, Velen left them to their own devices and headed toward his residence.
Since he was already back at the fortress, he decided not to return to the Uno Kingdom that night. He’d go back in the morning—Justin still had one painting left to complete, after all.
As Velen and his two guards departed, the rest of the group began returning via their Spatial Portals as well.
Ding! Congratulations, Host! Mission complete. You have received 300 million luxury points!
The moment Velen stepped into his room, the system’s reward notification sounded.
“What the—?!”
“Three hundred million luxury points?!”
Velen was stunned.
Sure, he’d known this mission would reward a lot of points—but three hundred million?
That was a third of what he needed to reach Hero Rank Lv.9—a total of 900 million luxury points!
He was now one major step closer to ascending to the Upper Plane Universe.
“And since I didn’t get many god-rank mana potions this time, I’ll just craft some myself.”
“I need to speed up the power-up process for the others too!”
Velen began plotting his next steps internally.
Uno Kingdom – Sir Arthur’s Residence
“Come on!”
“Keep fighting!”
The Nether Soul Knight Commander was puzzled when the other four knight commanders suddenly stopped fighting and shouted.
But as he barked his challenge, he realized something was off.
The four commanders were trembling with fear, their faces pale as if they’d seen a ghost.
Confused, he turned to look behind him—
“Who are you two?!”
There stood the red-haired man with one eye, wielding a blood-red scythe, and a sweet-looking little girl munching on a lollipop.
The Knight Commander raised his voice in alarm.
“Our master sent us to have some fun with you,” the red-haired man replied with a smirk, his eyes glinting playfully.
“Let’s suppress our strength a little.”
“Otherwise, it won’t be any fun,” the little girl giggled as she put away her lollipop.
“Who… who are they?” the Nether Soul Knight Commander asked in a low voice, now clearly uneasy. He turned to the four knight commanders for an answer.
“They’re the guards serving under Lord Velen!”
“We’ve never seen the girl before, but the red-haired man… he could easily toy with the five of us combined!”
“Let’s give it our all. If we can’t entertain them, we’re screwed!”
Arthur Knight Commander explained with a shaky voice.
The Next Morning
“Gah!”
Velen shot upright in bed.
The first thing he saw upon waking up was the bunny’s face, staring at him from just inches away.
Seriously—who wouldn’t be terrified waking up to a rabbit face at dawn?
“Bunny, are you out of your mind?”
“You have your own fancy burrow—why are you in my room?”
Velen shouted as he caught his breath, startling the bunny awake.
“Master… I wanted to sleep in my own place, but they stole my bunny palace!”
The bunny replied with a voice full of grievance.
