Chapter 67: Chapter67-With Me Here, No One Can Hurt You!
Upon seeing Victoria, a loli face with a muscular body, Anastasia’s heart eased slightly. However, her expression remained stern, and she said directly:
“Victoria, I’ve come here this time hoping you can help me craft a few things.”
Victoria, seeing Anastasia’s serious face, shook her head slightly and said, “Anastasia, I really don’t know how you developed this personality. You always look like you have a deep grudge against the world. Can’t you smile more?”
“Your personality is just like a boy’s. Only I can tolerate it,” Victoria added with a teasing tone.
Anastasia didn’t like to smile, and this was something Victoria always found a bit unsettling, as if there were a heavy stone weighing on her heart.
She had always wanted to change Anastasia’s character, but she had never succeeded.
Seeing the concerned expression on Victoria’s face, Anastasia shook her head, saying, “I’ve gotten used to it. Besides, apart from you, the vice-captain I recruited not long ago can also accept it.”
As she said this, the image of Velen flashed across Anastasia’s mind. His words and actions proved that he was truly dedicated to the fortress and genuinely wanted to help her.
It was clear that he accepted her cold and distant personality.
Victoria, growing curious, leaned in closer, her beautiful eyes wide open in a playful manner as she asked, “Anastasia, you just joined here not long ago, and you weren’t demanding much from the guardians, so why did you suddenly appoint a vice-captain? You didn’t even tell me about this!”
She and Anastasia had been good friends for many years, and Victoria’s personality was extremely cold. She wouldn’t say a word to strangers, her only focus being on leveling up!
Leveling up!
She had a kind of innate arrogance toward other awakeners and didn’t think much of them.
Now, someone had joined the Guardians and even been appointed as vice-captain, which meant that Anastasia truly recognized him.
This piqued Victoria’s curiosity even more!
“You didn’t ask about it before, and besides, he… how should I put it? You can think of him as a super tycoon.”
Anastasia briefly mentioned it, then changed the subject, “Alright, enough gossip. Help me craft some kitchen utensils and large scissors for trimming lawns and fruit trees.”
She wasn’t sure why, but seeing Victoria so interested in Velen made her feel an inexplicable desire not to talk more about him.
Victoria, noticing Anastasia’s odd behavior, didn’t press the issue but spoke regretfully, “Anastasia, I’m sorry, but my mentor needs my help to forge a high-quality magic tool. I won’t have any free time for the next month…”
Anastasia, disappointed, was about to leave when suddenly a deep, powerful voice came from the depths of the forge shop.
“It’s just crafting some simple kitchen tools and scissors, no problem!”
The voice sounded, and a short but muscular, bald old dwarf appeared, holding a large black hammer, looking at Anastasia with a kindly expression.
“Master Ethan!”
Upon seeing the old dwarf, Anastasia’s usually emotionless face showed a rare expression of respect.
Ethan looked up at Anastasia and laughed heartily, “It’s been a while since I last saw you. You’ve grown so tall. Looks like I really am getting old!”
He sighed, then suddenly asked, “How are those five old men from the Senate doing?”
Anastasia smiled faintly and replied, “Master Ethan, thank you for thinking of them. Their health is great. Senator Jake has been wanting to discuss body forging and crafting with you again.”
“If there’s an opportunity, I’ll definitely visit Ducal Manor again. But today, since you’ve come all the way to my shop, I won’t let you leave empty-handed,” Ethan said, adjusting his long beard before turning to Victoria. “Go get some of that fine iron, we have plenty of it here. Crafting kitchen tools and garden scissors won’t take long!”
Seeing that Master Ethan himself was stepping in, Anastasia quickly said, “Master Ethan, although these things are simple, there is one special requirement. I need all of them to be infused with something special during the forging process.”

Ethan, not at all concerned, waved it off and said, “That’s easy! You want alloyed kitchen tools, right? Just bring them over!”
Ethan had always been a close friend of Ducal Manor, and since Anastasia was good friends with his mentee, he naturally wanted to make sure she was satisfied.
Anastasia nodded and then took three Starry Stones that emitted a colorful glow. Holding them in her hand, the entire forge shop was immediately bathed in dazzling, multicolored light.
Ethan and Victoria, both in the midst of the radiance, couldn’t help but stare at the three stones, their faces filled with astonishment.
Starry Stones!
Three whole Starry Stones!
Seeing their shocked reactions, Anastasia felt somewhat helpless. She didn’t want to do this, but it was Velen’s decision, and she had no choice but to comply.
“Anastasia, is this really true? You want to use three Starry Stones to craft kitchen tools and scissors?” Victoria asked, her voice incredulous. “You’re not planning to use them to make magic items, are you?”
After a brief moment of shock, Victoria looked at Anastasia as if she couldn’t believe her ears.
This was the kind of shock and awe that came from someone who was so rich they could squander treasures like Starry Stones. Was this the feeling Velen sought when he indulged in luxury and excess?
Anastasia couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of satisfaction, although she quickly suppressed it. Clearing her throat, she said, “It’s just for crafting kitchen tools and scissors for trimming grass. We don’t need to make them into magic items.”
Before Anastasia could finish speaking, Ethan couldn’t take it anymore. He lifted his hammer and swung it toward Anastasia’s head as if he were going to knock some sense into her.
As a rare smith master, he had never seen so many Starry Stones. Forging a magic item with a Starry Stone had been his lifelong dream but was something he had never been able to accomplish.
Yet now, Anastasia was using three of them to craft kitchen tools and scissors?! It was such a waste; it felt like dragging his reputation through the dirt!
Victoria, knowing her mentor’s hot temper, quickly grabbed his wrist and tried to calm him down. “Victoria, let go of me! Today, I’m going to teach Anastasia a lesson for being so wasteful! Starry Stones aren’t to be used like this!”
“Even in the Singularity Battlefield, Starry Stones are extremely rare! Other Ascended Rank awakeners would fight to the death over them! And yet she’s using them to make kitchen tools and scissors?! I’ve never seen anything so wasteful!”
As Ethan glared angrily at Anastasia, she quickly realized the gravity of the situation. With some resignation, she explained, “Master Ethan, it’s no use talking to Senator Jake and the others about the Starry Stones. These three were given to me by the independent senator of Ducal Manor, and doing this is his request.”
Before Ethan could say anything, a murderous aura suddenly filled the room, locking the entire forge shop down!
Then, with Ironback Centipede leading the way, Velen stormed into the scene, glaring at Ethan, who was still holding the hammer.
“Are you planning to strike Lord Anastasia? You have quite a bit of courage!” Velen’s voice was filled with fury.
As he spoke, he stepped in front of Anastasia, his mana flaring up as he checked her body and aura.
Seeing that she wasn’t harmed, Velen sighed in relief.
“Lord, you’re too careless. You came to this blacksmith’s shop, and if Iron Cub hadn’t brought me here, you would’ve been in danger!”
