“Tch, it’s not fun at all,” Drishti backed away, seeing no hint of embarrassment on the young man’s face. His direct initiative to attack her with her own medicine didn’t sit well with her.

Her amused expression broke down due to his words. Instead of feeling dissatisfied with his lack of response, her face lit up with a clear smile. Moving her hands behind her back and narrowing her eyes teasingly, she parted her lips, “It was me who threatened her.”

In that fleeting moment, where night was at its peak, the moonlight bathed the ground filled with rubble and trees in a soothing glow. A breeze passed between the young man and Drishti, carrying a leaf with it, as hollow as Ryuk’s reaction.
