Chapter 300: Chapter 300 – Ooh
“Huban, where are you taking be?” Being levitated in the air by some unknown force gripping his body, Belial, in his small form, glanced down towards the woman who appeared to be halted in mid-air while looking in the direction from where they had come.
“It’s a very troublesome situation,” Drishti murmured, one hand resting on her chin as she thought about the dilemma she was in. She wanted to prepare for something interesting, but she was sure that she would miss something even more entertaining by not being near the Jade Dominion.
Although she could always keep her surveillance and look on it, there is a difference between watching from afar and being present there in person.
‘He always shows something intriguing,’ Drishti shook her head before turning in the other direction, contemplating how she should do some hard work in hopes of seeing even more entertaining things in the future.
After discovering that Ryuk had been regressed in time, her intention to increase the difficulty in the future also grew.
Considering he was already from the future, it would be easy for him to navigate any situation, which is why she decided to create something that would be unexpected yet entertaining for everyone.
With a playful smile gracing her lips, hinting at her concealed mischief, she turned in a specific direction. Her deep amber eyes glimmered as they focused on a familiar spot on the horizon, and just before she disappeared, she informed Belial, “Demon, we are going to the Heindal Continent.”

Deep within the Ardoros continent, in one of the four prominent families known as the Riantain Family, a visitor from the Divine Territory of Sanctum had made their presence known. This was signified by a gleaming white metallic vessel that resembled a boat, illuminated by a radiant golden light, anchoring in one of the vast expanses near one of the Riantain family’s heirs.
Due to the territory being so vast, the ship slowly descended as its air stairs came down, revealing three figures stepping out of it in pristine white clothes, signifying their identity as priest and knights from the Sanctum.
“Greetings. We apologize for our unannounced arrival, but we are here to meet Lady Diana,” the High Priest, who was ordered by their Saintess to find Diana Riantain and have her meet the Saintess, had arrived in Ardoros to clarify everything and explain his situation.
To be exact, his task was simply to contact Diana Riantain and arrange for a conversation with the Saintess, but the moment after scheduling the call, he went to bring the Saintess. She had already fallen asleep due to the effect of a demon seed corroding her body, prompting him to come himself to meet Diana Riantain.
Considering the position of the Sanctum, they had high-range battleships or transport ships to cover the distance between Ardoros and Sanctum.
“It’s unexpected to see a priest forget about the common etiquette of informing beforehand,” one of the servants, belonging to the lowest tier of the hierarchy in the main palace of the Riantain family, informed the priests with an impassive look and a firm tone, indicating their clear dissatisfaction at seeing him arrive without prior announcement.
“I-I apologize again,” the High Priest once more expressed regret, causing the Holy Knights beside him to feel awkward seeing the most respected person within the Sanctum apologize to a mere servant.
“Hm. You may follow my guidance, but be sure to avoid repeating this mistake. Considering your standing, we will only tolerate it once,” the servant firmly declared before moving forward, as none of the guards bowed towards the High Priest or even greeted them; they remained fixed in their work, some glancing in their direction as if these Riantains were machines devoid of emotions.
However, the High Priest did not take it to heart, well aware of the Riantains, who were one of the four major families in Ardoros and possessed the physique that allowed them to maintain complete control over their bodies, effectively suppressing all their emotions, which, in truth, is humanity’s greatest enemy.
“This way,” the servant turned towards the corridor before leading them to a guest room. He kept his steps calm and calculated, showing no hints or openings for someone to find any error, as if he were a perfect, well-crafted machine at the epitome of his work.
“Share the message you wish to convey to my lady, keeping it concise and straightforward, as her decision to meet you will depend on it,” the servant stated upon arriving inside a room that was lavishly decorated, with enough space to accommodate more than twenty people with ease.
“Th-that’s?” The high priest was here to convey the message of Sanctum to Lady Diana himself. But hearing how he first needed to convince her into meeting him, he thought for a moment before replying while looking at the servant’s impassive and expressionless face, “Please tell her that Saintess Maria had sent me to give her a message.”
Normally, the priest himself didn’t know anything except that he needed to contact Diana Riantain. Whatever the message was, Saintess Maria herself had to tell her. But now that she was unconscious, he could only hope to at least explain things to Lady Diana and convince her to accompany him to the Sanctum, where she would be able to talk with Saintess the moment she wakes up.
“Is that it?” the servant inquired before seeing the High Priest nod. He turned to leave the room as the priest took a seat on a sofa while two holy knights stood behind him.
“High Priest, how can they be so arrogant?” one of the holy knights inquired, as he wore a white armor with his face covered within. He clenched his sword, not liking the way the Riantain family was treating them.
“Arrogance is a luxury that only the rich can afford,” the High Priest replied in a calm tone, answering them in the simplest way he could, to make them understand that right now they were at the doors of one of the strongest families in the human zone.

“We understand,” both of them nodded as they turned their gazes towards the door while waiting patiently to hear the reply of the person they were here to meet with.

“Priest, it’s already five hours,” one of the knights informed, looking at how night was soon going to occur. Given their arrival in the evening, it was slightly confusing and humiliating for them to wait here inside the guest room, which was also unfit for a major family to treat their guests in such a way.
“It’s—” the High Priest was about to say something while his eyes remained closed, keeping calm before the door of the room swung open.
‘?!’
“Ooh,” The moment the sound of the door opening reached the High Priest, he instantly stood, recognizing the woman who had just entered the room in an attire—a white short dress, black stockings, a cane in hand, and white fur draped over her shoulders. His gaze fell on those deep blue eyes with cascading blue hair fluttering as she entered with a calm yet calculative expression.
Moving gracefully, her delicate fingers swirling the cane in her hand, she took her seat on the sofa, legs folded and chin supported by her hand. With squinted eyes and a devilish smile, Diana added, “So, Maria sent me some pawns to use; how comforting.”
