Chapter 37: *Chapter 37- Do you know her Bloodline’s ability?
“If you wish to be my knight, then defeat Bella,” Ryuk turned towards Celes as he proposed the condition for her to become his knight.
‘He is at this again.’ Alisia, seeing how Ryuk just tried to create trouble for Bella, didn’t feel much surprised.
Since her arrival, they had been constantly at odds.
Turning towards Bella, who was busy in her training just outside Ryuk’s window, Alisia sighed, understanding that even after not winning once, the girl kept trying to provoke him.
‘At least, he has something childish about him.’ Already becoming habitual of the mature side, Ryuk showed while involved in the kingdom’s affairs to rigorously training all day, the small struggle between Bella and him kept Alisia slightly relieved that he still had some childish side.
Ryuk, observing Celes as she slowly approached the window to look at Bella, felt satisfied seeing her expression, knowing well about Celestia’s personality— competitive in nature.
And Bella who always wanted to become better to defeat him one day, both Celes and her personality was completely compatible, which assured him that the upcoming future wouldn’t deviate much from his expectations.
Knowing about Bella’s aggression towards him which was confusing, but not caring about it, he always tried to provoke her only to defeat in the end, to make sure she can only think of him.
In these years, he understood that it was impossible for him to make Bella align with him due to her caring more about his mother, which he definitely appreciated, but he didn’t know about the future.
His aim was to make Bella at least bound to him, which would assure his survival outside this continent.
He didn’t care much about the strength beings possessed there, but it would be foolish of him to think he could solve everything with strength alone.
His approach was simple: make himself her aim.
It didn’t matter if she just wanted to defeat him or saw him as a rival; in the end, she would be bound to him, just like how he could observe her outside his window right now due to her mentality of rivalry.
“Y-your highness, but why does that girl have a tail?” Celestia inquired, unfamiliar with seeing a human with a tail or ears.
A smile formed on Ryuk’s face. Not wanting to miss this opportunity, he replied, “Why don’t you go and ask her that?”
badump
Suddenly seeing those amber eyes shining in orange hues of light with a small smile on that face, Celestia’s heart skipped a beat.
It was the first time that it happened.
‘What the hell,’ her mind swirled, not understanding why she found a boy this much attractive all of a sudden, doubting herself for having such feelings for the same gender.
“I-i understand.” Not wanting to stay for a minute there, she swiftly turned to leave.
Her memories wouldn’t let her forget that scene, making it more vivid—Gaia’s rays caressing those amber eyes while a soft smile adorned his face, teasingly looking at her.
Everything was just too vivid and confusing. She didn’t understand why everything seemed so nostalgic to her.
Ryuk turned towards the training ground, observing the girl famous for her haughty nature and a trigger which caused that haughtiness to burst—her tail and ears.
He was sure the moment Celestia tried to ask her about the tail, a rivalry would establish, which would yield two benefits.
Bella would help Celestia become proficient in her battle ability, and she would make sure to keep Bella in check—getting work done without breaking a sweat.
“Ugh.” While moving, Celestia clenched her forehead, suddenly feeling pain as she tried to think if she had seen those amber eyes before somewhere.
‘No.’ Suddenly, she stumbled, losing her balance but got supported by Alisia.
“You’re fine, kid.” Alisia, noticing Celestia losing her balance, placed a hand on her shoulder, encouraging her to gather herself. “Yes, apologies, Your Majesty.”
Ryuk noticed this small event, narrowing his eyes as he was already aware of her passive ability working right now, and also knowing that his mother was aware of this.
‘Did she trigger it?’ Ryuk turned towards his mother, who calmly looked at him while Celestia left the room.

“Mother, how do you know?” Though he was aware of Celestia’s ability due to hearing everything from her own mouth in a previous life, he couldn’t understand how his mother knew.
A smile formed on Alisia’s face. She slowly moved towards the sofa before taking a seat, calmly stating, “Son, it’s not a surprise that I know, but it’s you who is surprising here.”
Alisia’s narrowed gaze showed her surprise. Her sheer strength allowed her to easily identify the girl’s bloodline.
But how could a child like Ryuk know about something like this?
Unbeknownst to Alisia, Ryuk only knew about abilities, not the bloodline’s name.
“What are you talking about, mother?” Ryuk tilted his head, already anticipating her doubts, which made him have a counterplan in mind.
“Don’t act, child. I know. You are already aware of her dormant bloodline.” Alisia, not in the mood to prolong this matter, directly placed her cards on the table, wanting to know her son’s secret.
“What? She possesses some bloodline too?”, Ryuk feigned ignorance, widening his eyes in surprise, not wanting to give up that easily.
‘Is he really?’ Alisia, seeing Ryuk’s expression, felt a doubt arise inside her mind. She wondered if her suspicion was wrong.
Despite knowing that she was getting fooled again, she couldn’t help but accept his sincerity in the end.
She knew Ryuk would eventually tell her everything.
And also knowing that he would just change the topic by making an excuse of referring to Celestia’s gender thing, she continued.
“You must have already known, son, that bloodlines are transferred within dormant genes, meaning they aren’t dependent on the parents but on ancestors.”
Alisia confirmed the principle of bloodlines, which depended on an individual’s ancestors who possessed enough strength to dominate future generations and pass down their abilities to those who awakened their bloodline.
“And?” Ryuk, though already aware of everything, also wanted to hear it from his mother’s mouth.
From his knowledge, Celestia’s genes gave her the ability of absolute memory, but he didn’t know the extent of that bloodline.
A smile formed on Alisia’s face before she stood and moved towards the window where she observed Celestia approaching Bella. She continued, “That girl possesses the bloodline of an Aternum.”
Narrowing her eyes, she turned towards Ryuk, but seeing his confused gaze, she continued, “That ability gives her Absolute Memories.”
‘As expected,’ Ryuk didn’t feel much surprise until he heard his mother’s next words.
“And also, Soul Memories.”
‘This?’ Feeling confused, he kept looking towards his mother as she continued, “Soul Memories are bound to one’s soul. Unlike the body, souls are a form of energy influenced by one’s consciousness, meaning that the girl at a point in her life will re—”
Knock knock
Suddenly interrupted in their conversation, both turned towards the room’s door, where they saw Johan standing with a bow.
“What happened?” Alisia inquired, sensing his sudden arrival carried something important.
“Your Majesty, Princess Olivia has arrived and wants to discuss something very important with you.”

Six years ago, after the Crown Prince had broken the idol of the goddess Fela to awaken the saintess Marianne, some were dissatisfied.
However, considering they had received a blessing for the sacrifice of a mere statue, easily replaceable, most kept their silence.
But things gradually became difficult within the span of two or three years.
The religion of Goddess Fela started gaining wide acceptance due to Saintess Marianne’s miraculous blessings that healed even the dying.
However, the epicenter where the miracle of Fela had been born remained untouched by this grace.
Not only that, except for the first monastery where the Crown Prince had awakened the saintess, none of the other monuments were permitted to be built.
Numerous dissatisfactions emerged, but many were silenced, either permanently or by their own accord.
But no one objected to this entire scenario; even the Saintess herself always visit the Royal Palace of the Selvius Kingdom twice a year for some reason.
Making it clear to the commoners that the Selvius Kingdom was blessed by the goddess Fela.
Only the nobles were aware of how much of a blessing they received after cursing the Selvius Kingdom’s royal family.
They can’t even think of how many barons and counts were swiftly replaced by their heirs after accidental deaths within a short span of time.
While many remained silent, some still lurked in the shadows, seeking to exploit this to overthrow the royal family, using the pretext that they were aligned with demons who feared the light of the goddess Fela.
Among them were those at the top, like the Silvester Family, which had grown to unprecedented heights in these past few years, seeming almost dreamlike.
The extent of their growth had reached neighboring kingdoms, evidenced by their involvement in mana mines, trading, and the construction of artifacts.
All credit for this development went to Princess Olivia, who continuously created new artifacts, leading to the unprecedented growth of the Silvester Family, indirectly Selvius Kingdom.
Some of her creations included Image Capturing orbs and communication bracelets.
The Selvius Kingdom had received proposals from several smaller kingdoms to accept them as vassal states.
The reason for this was the policies prepared by the Crown Prince for the benefit of vassal states, directing everything toward the birth of an empire.
This had spurred larger kingdoms like Aidiac and Ashyn to become more active in dealing with the situation before it escalated.
Inside one of them, the Aidiac Kingdom’s royal palace glimmered in the moon’s rays, the light slowly falling through the window of the hall, revealing the figures of two men.
“Tell me about the growth of the Selvius Kingdom,” an elderly man with a white beard inquired of someone who had just arrived with news about events within the Selvius Kingdom.
“Yes, Elder,” the kneeling man began to inform. “The Selvius Kingdom’s Princess is soon going to release her new invention, the Teleportation Gate, which can easily transport someone over a distance of a thousand miles within ten minutes.”
“W-what?!” The old man was startled to hear about an artifact that could cover such a vast distance in such a short span of time, hardly believing his ears. “Are you sure?”
“Yes, Elder. Tomorrow, they will officially open the gates in the capital city,” the kneeling man confirmed, prompting the old man to swiftly turn and leave the place.
“I need to inform His Majesty,” he muttered to himself as he hurriedly made his way through a long hallway towards a room.
As he slowly approached the king’s room, a sound began to become clearer.
Pah Pah Pah
“AannGhh, Have mercy, Your….Aggghh!”
SMACK
“Shut up you bitch, You should be proud”
PAAH
“Aaanngghh!”
Arriving at the door, the Old man slowly lifted his hand and knocked on the door
knock knock
“Ugh, tighten it slut….Smack ”
“Aaagghh….Please, I beg you”
Sounds kept coming from the room, making the Old man sigh before entering without getting any reply.
Krrieeeekkk~
The moment the door opened, a scene unfolded before the Oldman’s eyes.
A woman lay bare on the bed, her fingers clenched around the bedsheets, teeth biting down on a piece of cloth in an attempt to endure the torment inflicted upon her.
Yet, tears streamed down her face, betraying her hope amidst the suffering.
Paahh
“AaannnGggHh!”
Squelch
“Hahaha, it’s wet,” Leud burst into laughter, already feeling satisfied with the woman’s performance.
“Ahhhh…It hurts Plea—Smack ”
Giving a hard slap on her bare ass, feeling satisfied he turned towards the old man while keeping his hips moving.
pah pah
“Ang…Ahh…Merc”
“Tell me, why do you disturb me at this time?” Leud inquired, feeling frustrated by being interrupted in his fun, prompting the old man to reply.
“This is about Selvius Kingdom, Your Majesty.”
“Ackk…. it hurts!” Already in pain, the maid winced as the tight grip caused her discomfort, disrupting their conversation.
“Tch, you can rest for some time,” Leud said, slowly moving his hand towards something while kept his pace.
Hearing his words, woman finally saw a glimmer of hope to leave this place.
“T-thank….you—MFFFFFF?! ” Suddenly, a pillow was pressed against her face, causing her to suffocate.
Leud’s hand pressed the pillow to keep her silent until he dealt with the talking, while continuing his movement, he inquired “Now, tell me, Brian, what do you want to tell me?”
Pah pah
“mff…..”
The old man also did not care much about the struggling woman who kept trying to swiftly move her legs in the struggle while clenching the pillow, attempting to remove it.
He continued, “The Selvius Kingdom’s Princess Invented a Teleportation Gate, which could shorten the distance.”
“So, you mean a mere woman invented something like that?” His anger surged, causing the pressure of his hand to increase, further suffocating the maid who was already struggling to breathe.
“Forgive me. Please proceed with your orders, Your Majesty,” Brian bowed, waiting for a response.
A smile formed on Leud’s face. Turning towards Brian and not willing to leave this matter alone, he issued an order.
“Send a mesage to assasin guild, We want them to kill…..”
