- Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 Bra Thief Hero
Chapter 38: Bra Thief Hero Chapter 38: Bra Thief Hero “What’s going on here?!
Milly, why are you here?” I exclaimed, utterly bewildered by the sight of her standing proudly before me.
She smirked, crossing her arms with a confidence that made me sigh inwardly.
“Why?
Are you upset that your adorable little sister didn’t see you off when you left for the academy?
Pfft.” She let out a playful laugh.
Without thinking, I reached out and ruffled her hair, watching as her confident smirk twisted into an annoyed pout.
“Hey!
Don’t treat me like a little kid in front of everyone!” she protested, her cheeks puffing out indignantly.
Milly straightened her posture, brushing off my hand, and continued, “I’ll have you know, I’m a first-year student here now!
So make sure to take care of me, big brother,” she added with a teasing grin, sticking her tongue out in mock defiance.
I sighed dramatically, turning to face my friends.
“Everyone, this is my little sister, Milly von Blackmore.
If she causes any trouble, feel free to report her to me.” “Hey!
Do you think I’m a troublemaker like you, big brother?” Milly snapped, pouting harder.
Freya and Lyra stepped forward with warm smiles, clearly already familiar with her.
“It’s nice to see you again, Milly!
Thank you for helping us so much back at the Blackmore estate,” Freya said warmly.
“Hehe, it was nothing!” Milly replied with a modest chuckle.
“Nice to meet you, Milly.
I’m Marius, Naoki’s roommate,” Marius said politely, bowing slightly.
Milly tilted her head and smirked.
“Oh, thank you for putting up with my troublesome brother.
He’s quite a handful, isn’t he?” That earned her a tug on the cheek from me.
“Don’t push your luck, Milly.” “Haha, you two get along well,” Marius remarked with a chuckle.
Luna stepped forward, looking amused.
“You’re so cute, Milly.
I’m Luna, the class 3-C representative.
Oh, and yes, your brother caused quite a commotion.
He’s only been here for two days, and he’s already dueling people.

I honestly didn’t expect it,” she said with a long sigh.
Milly burst out laughing, clutching her stomach.
“That sounds just like big brother Naoki!” I scratched my head awkwardly.
“I’m really sorry, Luna.
And thank you for agreeing to be the referee for my duel.” Milly wagged her finger at me like a scolding teacher.
“Big brother Naoki has always been a troublemaker.
Do you know how hard it was to handle the rumors about you back home?
Ugh!
I didn’t rush here because I was worried about you or anything, okay?
I just didn’t want those rumors getting out of hand!” Her tsundere nature was in full force now.
“Alright, alright, Milly,” I said with a sigh, gently nudging her toward the hall.
“Come on, classes are about to start.
I’ll take you to your classroom.” I waved goodbye to my friends, earning a knowing grin from Freya and a polite bow from Marius.
As Milly and I walked through the corridors, she told me that she was placed in Class 1-A-the top class of her year, reserved for prodigies and nobles.
It was basically a miniature version of Class 2-A and 3-A.
I couldn’t help but grumble internally about how unfair it was.
When we arrived, Milly was immediately swarmed by her new classmates.
They welcomed her with open arms, their excitement radiating off them as they surrounded her like she was some kind of idol.
Meanwhile, I stood off to the side, a mix of irritation and pride bubbling inside me.
She was popular already.
I, on the other hand, had been the subject of scorn and suspicion for days.
Life wasn’t fair.
After seeing her settled, I returned to my classroom.
Things had calmed down, and thankfully, the rumors about me had been laid to rest.
That’s when Kael walked in, shirtless and visibly humiliated.
He offered a loud, formal apology to the class, admitting that the rumors he and his lackeys spread about me were false.
The other students shouted at him, but Kael silenced them with a burst of oppressive aura, making everyone freeze.
His eyes flicked toward me briefly, still trembling with fear as his hand subconsciously rubbed his bald head.
Without another word, he left the room.
“I’m sorry, Naoki-dono,” Freya said quietly from her seat beside me.
“Kael is my cousin.
He’s arrogant and never listens to me.
The main family always looks down on branch family members like me, so I can’t do much against him…” I waved her apology off with a dismissive hand.
“This isn’t your fault, Freya.
You don’t have to apologize.
I’ve already moved past it.
If he tries anything again, I’ll just knock some sense into him.
And for the record, you’re strong-way stronger than him.
Fighting you was ten times harder than fighting Kael.” Freya blinked in surprise, then smiled warmly.
“You’re just saying that to make me feel better, aren’t you, Naoki-dono?
But… thank you.
I’ll keep working to become stronger!” Beside her, I noticed Lyra peeking at me shyly from behind Freya.
When our eyes met, she quickly ducked her head, her face glowing red.
I tilted my head, confused by her behavior.
Class ended, and I walked home with my friends.
However, as we approached the dormitories, I felt a familiar presence trailing behind us.
After saying goodbye to Freya and Lyra, I told Marius to head inside without me.
“I’ll catch up later,” I said.
Once he was gone, I stopped in my tracks, turning sharply toward the presence that had been shadowing me.
“Come out, Milly!
I know you’re there,” I called out, delivering the classic line with a grin.
For a moment, I felt just a bit cool saying it.
“Hiik!
H-how did you know?!” Milly stepped out from behind the wall, her face a mixture of confusion and surprise.
“That’s easy,” I replied, crossing my arms.
“But you don’t need to know.
So, what’s the reason for following me around like this?” Of course, I’d only figured it out because Envi, my system, had told me.
Its detection ability let me sense my surroundings in detail.
“Well, um… I need your help, big brother,” Milly said hesitantly, fidgeting with her hands.
“I just got assigned a new roommate, so I have to move rooms and, well… I have a lot of stuff to carry.
You know how much I pack, right?” She gave me a pleading look.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.
That’s the girls’ dorm.
If a male student like me gets caught over there, it’ll be chaos!” “I already asked the teacher!” Milly interjected quickly.
“She said if the dorm staff are busy, it’s okay for family members to help.
And, well, the dorm staff are all tied up today, and I don’t know anyone else who can help me move so much stuff…” Her puppy-dog eyes glistened with unshed tears.
I sighed deeply, defeated.
“Fine… I’ll help.” Her face lit up instantly, her usual teasing demeanor replaced by genuine relief.
We made our way to the girls’ dorm, carefully avoiding any busy areas.
Thankfully, the entrance was quiet, making it easier to slip in unnoticed.
The task, however, was nothing short of grueling.
Milly’s belongings seemed endless as I lugged them up to the third floor.
By the time I finished most of the load, I was thoroughly exhausted.
On my final trip to retrieve the last of her things, I passed the laundry room on the third floor.
My gaze unintentionally drifted to the rows of bras and underwear drying near the open window.
My face turned beet red, and I quickly looked away.
A sudden gust of wind swept through the room, scattering the neatly hung laundry.
I panicked, shutting the window and bolting from the room.
There was no way I was going to touch those clothes-it would only make things worse.
“Hey, Naoki, you idiot!” Envi suddenly yelled in my head.
“What?
What is it?!” I asked, confused.
“Never mind.
Pfft-nothing at all!” Envi’s voice trembled with suppressed laughter, but I decided to ignore it.
With Milly’s last box in hand, I carried it to her new room.
She was waiting outside, smiling brightly.
Just as I handed it over, the other girls on the floor began stepping out of their rooms.
They were all dressed for the bath, towels draped over their shoulders.
“H-Hello, everyone,” I stammered awkwardly.
“I’m Naoki von Blackmore, Milly’s brother.
Nice to meet you all.
Well, now that her stuff is moved in, I’ll be going.
Bye!” My voice came out stiff and robotic, and I could feel their skeptical stares.
I turned around quickly and made my way to the stairs.
Just as I thought I was in the clear, a shrill voice pierced the air.
“KYAAA!
Th-that’s my bra!” I froze, turning around slowly to see a half-elf girl pointing at me in horror.
She had an incredible figure-curves that could turn heads anywhere-and, apparently, she was Milly’s roommate.
“What?!” I looked down at myself and, to my utter dismay, found a massive F-cup bra hooked onto the back of my collar.
Instinctively, I unhooked it and held it out in front of me.
“I-it’s huge…” I muttered in disbelief, my nose starting to bleed.
“KYAAA!
YOU PERVERT!” “GET HIM!” The girls charged at me, their fury palpable.
Panic seized me, and I bolted toward the stairs.
“Envi, you useless system!
You saw this, didn’t you?!
Why didn’t you warn me?!” I shouted internally, my legs pumping as fast as they could go.
Envi’s only response was uncontrollable laughter.
“Pfft!
This is priceless!
You’re on your own, champ!” “COME BACK HERE, THIEF!” one of the girls shouted behind me.
Despite my best efforts, the mob surrounded me.
I had no way out.
In the end, I was slapped, pummeled, and left utterly defeated.
“HAHAHAHA!” Milly doubled over in laughter, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“You’re so unlucky, big brother!
This is hilarious!” That night, a new rumor spread like wildfire through the academy: the tale of the “Bra Thief Hero.” By morning, the female students’ glares of disdain burned holes into my soul.
To make matters worse, the bra’s owner turned out to be the Class 1-A representative-a half-elf girl known for her sharp wit and imposing presence.
When we crossed paths in the hallway, she slapped me on sight, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
As for Milly?
She waved cheerfully as I going to my class, her laughter echoing in my ears.
“Good luck, Bra Thief Hero!” she called out mockingly.
And just like that, my reputation plunged to a new low.
Again.
